I told them he was too hot with all his fur but was very concerned about what he would look like if he were completely shaved. I was assured that I didn't have to worry, that they would make him look cute. When I picked him up I was in shock. He looked horrible. Entirely shaved down to nothing except most of his head. Having given not much for direction, I won't even hold that against them as the idea of cute is subjective. The concept of a good job is not however. The lines were so choppy as if no effort to blend was taken at all. They shaved half way up his face and then just stopped. Picture submitted. The line on the back of his head isn't even kind of straight or blended. Though I appreciate the ability to get us in right away, I now know why they weren't busy. Thank you for being friendly and warm but I regret to say that we won't be back. Two stars are merely for the convenience of the appt and the friendliness of the staff, and not a one for the job that was done on my dog.

To schedule an appointment with Ruff INN It, you must first make an account online, which is easy to do. This account allows you to upload your dog's vaccination records and also select a date and time for when your dog needs boarding. Soon after I created this and made a request of our preferred date, an employee called me to confirm the date and asked that since we were new clients, to schedule a meet and greet, which is their policy as they want to ensure that all dogs here are well-behaved and aren't socially aggressive with others. As soon as we came into town, we visited Ruff INN It for our meet and greet where the owner took our dog to the back area to introduce her to the other dogs and see how she reacted. He then invited us to come to the back of the area and see the facility. The facility is split into three different dog groups, depending on size and activity level. Our little dog was grouped with the other small dogs. For all the areas, there's an indoor area where they can sleep in one of the many beds and get water and they all have access to the fenced backyard area with artificial turf where they can play with the toys and balls, run around and go to the bathroom. Tons of space for the babies to play in! We dropped our little girl off at her scheduled appointment and the staff let us know that they would take photos of the dogs and post it on their Facebook for owners to see. When we came to pick her up, the staff let us know how much fun she had with other dogs, playing around. The owners of Ruff INN It are the sweetest people, too. I can't say enough positive words about Ruff INN It! If you're looking for dog boarding in the tri-cities area, this is definitely the spot to go to. Thank you, Ruff INN It!

When I went inside there were a handful of small dogs running around, pet fur everywhere, the place is a disaster and there are pet birds in the back. It smells very strong and perfume-y but not in a good way. The lady had to clean up dog pee which, fine. I decided to try to look past everything and hope for the best and when I picked my dogs up less than 2 hours later they smelt strongly of wet dog. I got spooked before leaving because there was blood on the floor, turns out it was dried. Not sure if I was more relieved or not. My 70lb dog has a wound on his nose from being locked in one of their dirty looking cages too. I feel like my dogs came back to me more dirty than they were before I brought them to the place and I honestly sobbed on the way home. Worst experience. To top it off, when leaving the place I nearly stepped in fresh dog poop that looks like the dog had worms so now I will be worming my dogs and figuring out how to get them bathed elsewhere. Do yourselves and your dogs a favor and avoid this place until they have higher standards. I feel bad because the lady was nice but oh my god this is not how anyone should be operating. It's gross.

My husband and I have our two dogs groomed by Jessica and Jake at Mobile Pet Works. One of our dogs is a puppy and for him to be home while he learns the grooming process has been been very helpful. Jessica and Jake clearly love dogs and they become fast pals with their "clients." Our 5-year old loves them and totally enjoys his grooming/spa time!!! And now the puppy is loving them too..he is quickly adapting to his grooming sessions, and being home certainly creates a calm and comfortable atmosphere The grooming van is very efficient and clean...with no ither distractions so that your dog gets their absolute and full attention.
