If a vet clinic charges you 650$ (150$ of that being for 2-3 x-rays) and they find shot gun pellets…read morein your neglected foster rescue dog & the veterinarian says absolutely NOTHING to you about it... disregards it completely, stating "it's actually quite common". Is that acceptable? Personally, I don't think anything about a dog being shot should be viewed as "quite common". Especially since this dog is visibly limping and has open wounds all over her body. Don't worry... none of the 650$ covered an x-ray of her extremities to rule out pellets in any other part of her body. It was just enough to cover a chest x-ray, blood work, some antibiotics and a vet tech's disrespectful attitude towards a very concerned owner. I would have never taken the time to write this negative review if the vet tech, whose name was Stephanie, was more apologetic - or if the office would have offered to do other X-rays free of charge to rule out any further damage (since that should have been the logical next step after finding the shotgun pellets). I've never witnessed such unprofessional behavior and incompetent misconduct in my life. If you truly value every aspect of your pets health, seek treatment elsewhere. This clinic is only interested in your pocketbook - not the health of your pet. Also edited to add - I was just made aware that they offer 501c animal rescue discounts. I was never offered this discount. I repeatedly stated that my dog was a foster and that a rescue would be paying her bill. Now a month later, she is still visibly limping and her condition has not improved. Now, the rescue is left footing the bill yet again at another vet clinic because this clinic failed us so miserably.

I first met the team at Creekside Vet as their internet and phone service provider. During those…read morevisits, I quickly realized this wasn't your typical veterinary office. I've been to other local vets like Rainbow Vet at Brady's Run and even Apple Grove, but the level of care and compassion I saw from the Creekside staff was truly different. As a local resident, my family and I were honestly tired of big vet offices that seemed to outgrow their clients, too many patients, impossible to get appointments, and that personal touch just wasn't there anymore. After seeing how Creekside operated, we decided to bring our dogs in. After our first appointment, we were not disappointed. My wife even said we were treated like royalty both us and our dogs. At that first visit, they discovered a large lump on our 14-year-old dog's liver. What stood out most was their approach. There was no pressure for unnecessary procedures, no guilt about costs, and no pushing invasive testing. Everything was clearly explained, including options and pricing. Their honesty and compassion meant everything to us. I truly believe the care they gave helped our dog live longer than she otherwise would have. Recently, our dog took a turn for the worse. Creekside got us in right away. Even when things were looking bleak and we weren't ready to give up just yet, they supported us and helped us try one last "Hail Mary." Unfortunately, it wasn't enough, and almost a week later our pup couldn't stand or lift her head. We knew this was the end and we didn't want her to suffer anymore. My wife called creekside to see if we can get her in ASAP, but they were already booked. When we explained the situation, they made room for us. When they walked into the room, there were tears in their eyes. They genuinely cared, not just about our dog, but about us too. They gave her the most peaceful, loving send-off we could have asked for and gave my wife, who has had this dog since high school, all the time she needed to say goodbye. Even with a full schedule, they never rushed us. I truly cannot say enough about Creekside Vet. They are down-to-earth, compassionate, and exactly what you hope for in a neighborhood veterinary office. We are so grateful for everything they've done for our family. If you're in the area and looking for a vet who truly cares, I can't recommend them enough.
