This mall has seen better days as far as occupancy is concerned. It once had a very diverse selection of stores to choose from. Now days, not so much. Dillards is still here and it is still a good Dillards. You have no problems finding some help, getting what you need. It's probably the best Dill's around. I am glad it's still here because the side it's on is like 20% full at the most. It was bought recently and is trying really hard, but I don't know man. They are leasing to some strange tenants, like taekwondo and karate studios, and a (swear to god) Slime store. Like you make slime there. That is the whole thing. The old Macy's is now some scary furniture store. I think there are at least 4-9 squatters in that mug. Milano's is even gone now!!!! What???!!!! Why????? I'm seriously going to cry. Nashoba opened recently and they have a cool concept, but need to start getting the food right. If you read this whole thing, you are now also a dork. '24 - 75-102

Wow This place looks…read morelike an abandoned mall from a zombie movie. There's some little food shops near the opening that are still operating. And there's a barber shop inside and the people in the barber shop were really nice. There is a small variety of fast fashion stores inside. My guess is the people local to this area stop and grab what they need and go. But the exterior and the way people are parked in front and the mall at the curb... security (I think they were security) just casually and unprofessionally hanging out. This mall is not somewhere you want to stop unless you're going to a specific store to get a specific thing. You wouldn't want to just stop here to browse at all.

My favorites spots are Milano's and Macy's The mall has had well publicized incidents of crime but I felt pretty safe upon my recent visit and saw an ample presence of security.

Lunch is served from 11-3 don't miss the BLT or the classic chicken salad sandwich. Another restaurant option is Mahagony Memphis and you talk about good for the soul! They recently changed their parking system and now have cameras that take your license plate, and it is no longer free unless you are visiting a specific business after 6pm, which is the reason they get 4 stars, and not 5. They have some neat events and it is a cool place for kids to explore during the day, especially when it is hot outside. They got everything from housing, to dining, to entertainment, to fitness/wellness. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!

My favorite shops/stops: Bookstar Old Navy Spin Street, Kroger K&G McAlister's Deli Dollar Tree Shelby County Clerk's Office (for my once a year tag renewal) It would be nice if they'd update the plaza with better landscaping, greenery and fountains (ala Carriage Crossing).

It's centrally located and easy to access. The Bookstar is unique, it's housed in an old movie theater.

I had never even heard of Overstock Outlet until I read a few reviews on here of the Cumberland…read morelocation. While I didn't make it there, I did find another store in the Perimeter Mall on Summer. I just bought a used TV/VCR combo for my daughters' room and was in desperate need of VHS tapes. I thought that you could only find them on ebay, but guess what? Overstock has them. For 50 cents each. Wow! We found Free Willy, Three Men & A Baby, and a Christmas tape. I also saw a ton of wedding dresses for only $99.99 each. Formal attire begins at $19.99. I'm not in the market for a wedding dress, but I couldn't resist checking out a few styles, and they did have quite a few pretty ones. There were also bath soaps, cute frames, computer and home office equipment, lawn and garden items, stoves, insulation, beanie babies, wine caddies, and countless other items. I don't believe the selection is as vast as the Cumberland Street location (going by its reviews), so I may need to check that one out too.

You'll find literally everything, 'from soup to nuts', in the big warehouse, items that have been bought from department stores and other retails places. Everything is much, much cheaper than what you'd pay at the store. I spotted cute shoes, nice cookware, patio furniture, gardening items, and more. It's a great place to take grandmas. Man, my grandma goes nuts in there and only complains that everything is slightly more expensive than it was in 1947.
