However, it was quite comfortable, and the service was pretty good, including not just looking after by bags, but moving them into the room afterwards as well. Oh, and the other pretty cool thing is that it is next to a pub. Not one of the best, but close enough nonetheless. Mind you, the pool isn't really one for doing laps in though.

There were quite a few craft beers on tap (and they even promoted Fat Yak during their happy hour, which I missed as I only managed to get here from Melbourne at 8:00 pm). While there was no beer garden, they did have an outdoor area on the street, as well as a restaurant out the back. However, since I was only in town for a short time I was only able to partake in a Fat Yak.

Once again this pub had a beer garden that seemed to be little more than the old backyard, but since smoking has been banned in pubs and clubs, many pubs have appeared to establish beer gardens so as not to loose patronage. The thing that I have discovered about many of the pubs out here is that when you order a beer they serve it in glasses with handles, and this pub was no different. However it was a nice pub with friendly staff, and I always feel flattered when the barmaid rushes up to serve me (though no doubt it is just the country hospitality).
