Interesting experience at this Auto Zone…read more I lightly scuffed up my front right exterior and was looking for a scratch repair kit. The place had good traffic as two girls were being helped and then a father and a child came in looking for something. And another guy buying some cleaning product. I wandered around for a bit and then located the Turtle Wax scratch repair gel and also some microfiber sponges. Cashier rung me up quickly. As I was walking out, I saw a detailing wipe and thought maybe this might help get the scratch out. And this is when it got funny because the cashier couldn't offer any advice but decided to start guessing my ethnicity. And I was like rolling my eyes internally and thinking to myself, "I guess this is guess Vivian's ethnicity day." You dont know how many times in my life I get this and it gets super annoying after 49 years of this. One day, Im just gonna tell people to stuff it honestly. Or, better yet, start guessing back their ethnicity too. I think I watched a fun video recently showing the absurdity of it. So, his first guess is, "Korean." Nope, buddy, try again. He then says, "Oh, you're not fair skinned enough." And that was pretty annoying too. And at this point, I am like, "I get Korean a lot, but, nice try, you're wrong." He then tries again, and says, "Japanese." And I am like, "nope, you're wrong again." At this point, thank goodness, his coworker comes to help me. I ask should I try the detailing wipe, it looks promising! He says if you're vehicle is here, let's go take a look. And I said yes! And was so relieved to stop playing guess my ethnicity game and get some real help! So, we go out together and he takes a look at my scratch and then he says, "you could just get someone to buff it for you." And then also says, try the Turtle Wax you bought, that should work. Detailing wipe won't be helpful. At this point, I thanked the guy and then said to him, go tell your buddy in there, "I'm Chinese." I also wanted to add, "and you're an idiot," but I stopped myself. Some battles aren't worth my time. Like seriously people, do your job and help me with my question (thank goodness someone working here knew what was going on and trying to work) and for crying out loud, can we not play guess Vivian's ethnicity for once? I'm really tired of it, so stop being a jerk.

Thank you, Alex! I…read moreran over a roofing nail in Mesa and was completely stuck, 1,300 miles from home without my tools. Not exactly how you want a trip to go. Alex immediately got me pointed in the right direction and connected me with a reliable cycle hauler. Once my bike made it to the shop, she had the repair done the same day and got me back on the road fast. Professional, responsive, and incredibly helpful when I really needed it. Highly recommend 8 Ball Cycle Tires.

How to excel at doing one thing. Great Price, Super fast service, friendly knowledgeable staff…read more Great price, great service, great people. Needed front and rear tires on both a Road King and Softail (FXSTC). Needless to say after getting estimates at dealership and local motorcycle / powersports business, it was looking like $1K plus out the door for the Road King and close to that for the Softail. Luckily I found 8 Ball Motorcycle Tires of Phoenix on Google and gave them a call. I spoke with Alex and relayed my needs and she told me that the tires I wanted for both bikes (including the whitewalls for the Road King) were in stock. She then gave me an out the door price that was surprisingly affordable as compared to the others. In addition, I was given the opportunity to schedule the service online or on the phone. I made the appointment for the next day and went to the business. 8 Ball Motorcycle tires was conveniently located just of Route 51 and McDowell. Andy started on the bikes as soon as I arrived and I hung out in their front area of the store, which is kinda cool. First, it's rows and rows of motorcycle tires. There is also a pool table, coffee, fridge stocked with water, tables and chairs with reading materials, plus couches and comfy chairs in a lounge section. Had great conversations with both Alex and Andy and they are extremely knowledgeable when it comes to the motorcycle tire industry. 8 Ball Motorcycle Tires even offers a tire warranty repairs and replacement program. It wasn't long and the bikes were finished with new tires, balanced and mounted. The bikes ride and feel so much better on the new rubber, the sense of security is there, and best of all I saved just about $500 (total between both bikes) by using 8 Ball Motorcycle Tires. They will be my go to place and anyone I ride with will know about them. Thank you Alex and Andy!
