On the return trip, the accompanying bus #520 broke down, it kept running hot and water was put in it several times. When that bus stopped, our bus #144 had to stop with them. The driver took us to McDonald's in Ruther Glen, VA, he then went to pick up passengers from bus #520 and took them to Wendy's in Ruther Glen, VA. We waited about 3 hours there. Then the bus took us to Golden Corral to meet bus #520. He parked in 4-5 handicapped parking spaces and suddenly a truck hit the back of bus #144 which i was on. police were called and he stated he had to call the state trooper and that was another hour added on. My driver received a ticket for parking in handicapped zone. We should have arrived in Farmville, NC at 3pm but didnt arrive until 9:45pm. I also want to add that no flares or anything emergency related were used when we were on the side of the road and we were in a curve with many 18 wheelers coming around the curve and it was dangerous. I hope the buses will be in better condition next year or i will look for another company to use. (My mother actually went on this trip, these are her words as she does not have an account with yelp but wanted this documented)

He even called me early in the day to touch base, introduce himself, and ensure we had everything needed in advance. I've taken the Go Apex bus a handful of times since it began on July 30. I've used it to meet a…read morefriend for dinner in downtown Apex and to walk in a different Apex neighborhood. Once, I took it all the way around just to see where it would go. I really like it, and I've learned some things that I hope will be helpful to others who want to give it a try. Check out the website for the schedule and map. The bus will also have maps and schedules for you to take. I definitely recommend the Trans-Loc app. Like most public transportation, sometimes it's a little early and sometimes it's a little late (just a few minutes either way). The app will tell you exactly when the bus will be arriving at your stop. The bus makes a full "loop" hourly. This means if you get on at the same stop where you previously got off, you'll have to ride all the way around to get back home. The bus runs Monday--Saturday, 6am to 10pm. Most drivers are friendly and helpful. One told me that she thinks they might add another bus to the route. Finally, it's free, and it's a great way to check out our little town!

Every time the drivers show up on time, know where they are going, are very friendly, and everything goes very smoothly. I am giving Greenway 5 starts because the excellent customer service. There was one instance when I first started chartering buses from Greenway where my team accidentally forgot to submit the contract. I called Marc on his cellphone just a couple hours before the event and he mentioned to me that I never submitted the contract so he assumed I went with another vendor. I informed him that we had every intention of submitting the contract and that there was a miscommunication. Marc saved the day by informing me that he would be able to have 5 buses ready by the time of my event. Even though it was short notice (on my end), the buses arrived on time and the drivers were very pleasant. I have never had any problems working with Greenway, and would recommend them anytime and every time! This is an excellent company to work with.
