However, I've just about had it with this place. I will give my honest opinion of the apartments and management. Let's start with the positives... 1) Roomy apartments, if you get in the older units (built 2008, I think). The new apartments (build 2015) are much smaller. 2) Decent storage space. 3) Fairly large kitchen (in terms of cabinets and counter space). 4) Relatively efficient units. 5) Nice deck. Some complaints... 1) Be prepared to have random, homeless-looking, disrespectful maintenance guys stomp all over your home (without taking their shoes off). 2) Be prepared to be treated poorly. 3) Be prepared to have to deal with incompetent management. 4) Be prepared for icy sidewalks in the winter. 5) Be prepared for the pool to often close early, because it may be inconvenient for someone to close it later. 6) Be prepared for gym equipment to rarely work. 7) Be prepared to not have your phone calls returned. If you don't mind any of these, this is the place for you! Mostly, I'm just frustrated with the way we've been treated after residing there for 4 years. I'm not looking for royal treatment by any means, but I am looking to be treated fairly.

The apartment was NOT cleaned upon arrival, you have to bug the staff just to clean the place before moving in (which will take a week or two.) ---WARNINGS--- 1. DO NOT SIGN THE LEASE BEFORE SEEING YOUR APARTMENT PHYSICALLY The apartment that they do your "tour" for will ABSOLUTELY NOT be the one you receive. We toured the model in a different building and thought they were nice, only to receive a DISGUSTING smelling unit (wet dog mixed with mildew smell.. which was unbearable.) The floors were a MESS, they did not even vacuum, let alone steam clean. There was filth in every crevice of the kitchen and bathroom (it took 3 days to get this place in livable condition.) Other than this, after reconciling all of these issues, the stay has been fine. They are old apartments, and the community is slightly loud, but it is a safe place where we had no issues other than move in. 2. THEY WILL NOT WARN YOU IF THEY WILL/HAVE ENTERED YOUR APARTMENT There is no warning when they will enter your apartment. If you ask for maintenance and you are not home, they will just waltz in without any indication of them having been there (no note or anything.) We realized one day that we had a new A/C, and we were not home when this happened. 3. THERE IS LITTLE TO NO UPKEEP ON THE GROUNDS They mow the lawn only once every three or so weeks, and it looks very shaggy at times. They take FOREVER to plow the parking lot and salt the sidewalks, which can be dangerous if you work early. The place is an ice rink in winter. A light that is not in a unit (as in, in the hallway or outside) could be dead for a month before maintenance repairs it. The same goes for fire alarms beeping that the batteries are low.

I didn't break a window. This place was horrific to live in. I went through extensive therapy from dealing with the office. I also had to chime in, in open court, that it was really difficult to take the word faggot seriously when the butch with a screwdriver called me one.
