She had been ill for…read more4 months and was bouncing back and forth from hospitals to rehab facilities to nursing homes. She kept getting sick over and over again. She ran out of days for nursing care and so we looked at a few board and care facilities. We chose Nestle Place. Well, since she has been at Nestle, she has completely recovered from all those illnesses! The very clean, caring and friendly atmosphere has been amazing. The owners Aren and Anna, are so wonderful. They create a very welcoming place for people to stay. They manage all the home health care and the meds for my mom. They follow all the safety protocols and state guidelines. The food is fresh and tasty. The house is extremely clean. The staff are caring and attentive. And frankly, since their pricing is so good it has allowed us to have my mom there longer. Which has helped since both my husband and I work which makes it hard to care for elderly parents. Whether you are needing short term recovery care, or long term, or hospice, I feel comfortable recommending Nestle Place. It's a wonderful assisted living facility.

When we…read moresigned up with the company the woman who managed the case initially asked what type of services we needed. I said that my brother needs help with housekeeping and cooking. There are times when caregivers asked if I wanted to have them do all the dishes (my husband and I) to which I responded you don't have to don't worry about it, said you don't have to. Some graciously washed all the dishes. They did send a caregiver once. The first couple days she literally sat in the chair and did pretty much nothing. After the second day, I sat with her to talk about the expectations that were laid out in the caregiving plan with Visiting Angels. According to her and other caregivers after her, she was not given a caregiving plan that described the task of light housekeeping for my brother. She seemed upset by this and never came back. The case manager that set us up initially said to us that Visiting Angels was there to help everyone in the family and all their needs. No, I do not ask someone who's there for my brother to help me or my husband with housekeeping, but this is something that the case manager at the time told us would be available.. There are jobs that are just really hard and really low pay paid one of them being caregiving. I would hope that these caregivers would get at least what workers at McDonald's are getting in California $22 an hour however deserve to get at least $30 an hour. i'm pretty disappointed that the resolution made by the owner of the company was to respond to my yelp review with defensive response, in lieu of learning more about how to make this service better.

They were kind, compassionate, and always ready to help when problems came up. They did their best to keep him as well as possible, comfortable, and free of pain. They provided the supplies that he needed and helped me make sure we didn't run out. They provided special wound care that really worked. The nurses and the bath aide never failed to come for their regular visits, and someone came quickly when there was an emergency. They were kind, compassionate, and loving not only with him but with me. I am grateful to all the team that was involved in his care and especially Rosemary, Beatrix, Sarah, Viviana, Lily, and (of course) Jack.

Recently took a tour of this board and care and when I first arrived, I noticed how quiet and…read moreserene the neighborhood was. The home is on a large corner lot and has a large gated driveway and a very pretty entry way. I met with Arsen who is the Administrator and he was vey kind and pleasant. The caregivers were lovely and greeted me as I toured. The home was beautiful, super clean and spacious. The covered and enclosed patio was wonderful and perfect space for activities and crafts. The bedrooms were large and they offer single or shared rooms. All the residents were enjoying their meals during the time of my visit. You can see how much the care givers love and take very great care of each resident. I love how big the back yard is for residents to garden, walk and exercise. Compared to other board and cares, this home stands out and I would definitely place my loved one here. I prefer a smaller assisted living compared to a large facility because of ratio to resident care is more one on one care. Highly recommend touring.

When it was time to move my family member into a home due to Lewy Body Dementia, I knew we needed something better. We needed the feel of a home that had the medical expertise of a facility. My mother-in-law was taken care of by warm and loving care givers and owners. They never stopped cooking, cleaning and caring for the residence. They accommodated our requests and delivered personal service to our loved one up until her passing. We felt she was safe, comfortable and in very capable hands for her final days.

I would go there around 5pm when it was their dinner time. Feed her, try to talk to her and spend one on one time with her.She had Alzheimer's disease. I believe they have 4 different buildings and plenty of parking spaces along with clean restrooms. This facility was established back in 1912 and still serves their patients, families of the patients with pride, dignity, and kindness. They have over 6,000 seniors every year entering this facility. They even have a nice garden. They provide care for home, in their community and on premises/campuses. Nurses and other staff members are very sweet, kind, caring, professional and HELPFUL!! They don't just treat you as a number; but as a human. Recently few days ago I willingly wanted to go see one of my friend's mom who is in this care center. She has dementia. I told her that I would be going there and she met me there. Place is spotless clean, they come and change the bed sheets pretty frequently, take you for a walk, help you to take your medications, and do their best for everyone to feel welcomed, safe and a good place to be at!
