Hard to see your food and be able to make sure your steak was cooked to temp. The music was also way too loud and the DJ was not considerate with his music. He played songs with curse words when there was a whole family with I think 3 kids in the restaurant. Not onto the food! I ordered the Top Sirloin Picanha with a side of fries and mac and cheese. To start off, the picanha was cooked correctly to my temp and was very tender. Only downside was that it was bland. My fries were seasoned well and crispy and my mac and cheese was creamy and tasty. That tucked-away location kept us from stopping sooner, but curiosity finally won out, and we're glad it did. Restaurant attempts to be an upscale restaurant to justify their pricing but the quality of food (flavor/taste) and services provided are fast food rating. There is no water available, you must purchase the only brand of mineral water at 4 dollars a small bottle that taste like faucet water. The lady was annoyed with our request of three separate checks at a table of 12, though their rules automatically charges 18% gratuity for any group of more than 1 check. The picanha burger looks amazing but there was honestly no flavor and lacked salt. The fries were stale like taste and didn't finish it. The Tuequenos were average at best. My kids had the American burger and that patty burger tasted odd and lacked flavor as well. I can't speak to other experiences but I witnessed a family of four have the big board of picanha with fries to share with a couple of sides (apps) and the mom faced and actions spoke highly of the quality, as she asked for salt and was dumping the bottle of that salt. All over the fries and picanha. Very disappointed and felt like we were a bother from the servers standing and just staring at us and just giving us odd eyes as they were chit chatting as they all looked at us. I decided to go to Cow for dinner tonight. It wasn't my first visit, but it was my first time going on a Friday night. We were greeted by the hostess and seated quickly, which wasn't surprising considering the restaurant was nearly empty. Things started to go downhill when we tried to order drinks. The waitress informed us that our first choices were unavailable, so I simply asked for water. A few minutes later, she returned and explained that water was only available through their bottled water service. Confused, I asked whether tap water was available, and she replied, "We only give free water Monday through Thursday." As absurd as that sounded, I asked what brand of bottled water they served. Trying not to laugh, the waitress awkwardly admitted that it was actually tap water poured into bottles and kept in the refrigerator. At that point, my wife and I couldn't help but laugh ourselves. We politely declined and decided to leave. Charging premium prices for refrigerated tap water simply because it was Friday felt ridiculous, especially at a restaurant where the food is already average at best and overpriced for the quality. This experience completely pushed us over the edge. Instead of staying, we went to Two Brothers Steakhouse in historic Kissimmee. I visited Cow Steakhouse to celebrate my son's 15th birthday and unfortunately, it wasn't the experience I had hoped for. I called in advance to confirm they could accommodate our party of 12+ and store the birthday cake. I was assured both would be no problem--but when we arrived, that was far from the case. We were told there was no space available indoors for a group our size, despite the prior confirmation. Our only options were outdoor seating or high-top tables with very uncomfortable stools--not exactly ideal for a celebratory dinner. The cake, which they said could be stored, ended up sitting at the end of the table all night. The space inside is quite small, and the stage placed right near the entrance only makes it feel more cramped. It created a bit of chaos whenever people were coming or going, especially with our larger group. As for the food--aside from the burger and mini empanadas, most dishes fell short. The steak was just okay, and the sides didn't taste freshly prepared, which was disappointing given the price point and expectations for a steakhouse. Our server, to be clear, was fantastic. They were attentive, kind, and did their best to make us feel taken care of. Unfortunately, the same can't be said for the front hosts or management. The lack of follow-through, care, and communication from the owner and front-of-house staff made what should have been a special night feel stressful and uncomfortable. I truly wanted to like this place, especially since there are so few elevated dining options in the Kissimmee area. But sadly, I won't be returning. Updating my review because we had a mediocre experience recently and honestly more upsetting in the lack of customer service provided to us especially since we have gone so many times .. however we ordered the grilled octopus as we always do and it came out tough and a bit charger but in an unpleasant way. We also ordered the carpaccio which ended having a piece of plastic from god knows what... underneath the meat to which my wife was about to eat. There was no apology, there was no manager that came and spoke to us and they still charged us for it. The remainder of the meal was lackluster at best. Now, if you are looking for an extremely loud, can't have a conversation musical kind of night then this is your place! Don't get me wrong the music was really good. But it was so loud that you couldn't even hold a conversation. I spent the whole night with earbuds in my ears just to drown out some of the volume. For me personally, that's not pleasant. Hello everyone! So you are in the mood for steak and find yourself in the Kissimmee, Florida area, well I think Cow Steakhouse should get those cravings under control for you. I found myself attending a conference in the Orlando / Kissimmee and was invited to go to a corporate dinner at this establishment. Cow Steakhouse is in a very unassuming mall right off the main highway but it is very easy to enter and there is plenty of parking available as well. They do have a front entrance but more often than not you will be accessing the restaurant using the rear entrance which is not bad at all which faces the parking lot. The decor of the restaurant is along the lines of typical steakhouse fashion and had some pretty cool memorabilia type items all long the walls. The location seems small but upon entering it is much larger than it seems. We were a very large group of at least 30 people and we were all pretty comfortable once we settled in. Upon arriving we were quickly greeted and attended to by the hostess and staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful and really took the time to provide recommendations and answer any questions when necessary. Drinks orders were taken pretty quickly as well and in record time we were all on our way to having a great dining experience. Now I have been to many a great steakhouse in my day and I can honestly say that they do not bill themselves as a high end location but the quality of the food was certainly excellent. On this occasion, I ordered the Parmesan Grated Onion Soup which was amazing, the Bone in Cowboy Ribeye with Macaroni and Cheese and a side salad with Thousand Island dressing. My steak was tender, cooked to perfection and delicious. The Macaroni and Cheese was creamy and delicious as well and was topped with some oven crusted Parmesan cheese which made it even better! Man I am getting hungry just describing this to all of you! . Overall, I was very happy with the overall experience and should I find myself in the area again, I will definitely be stopping in again. The kitchen was not organized, and the servers were bringing wrong food to the tables or not bringing it all. For dinner, I had a 8 oz. filet mignon with mushrooms, partner went with beef skewers. Both meat plates were served with wood and smoke aromas floating off. This just wasn't the scene for the volume. The food though.... The empanada appetizer is a must try and I absolutely LOVED my 14oz Picanha entree. Just delicious!! I was alone and it seems this place really caters to groups. Everything was VERY expensive and when I inquired about a gluten free menu I was told I could eat nothing due to cross contamination. We stopped here based on the reviews, and after experiencing it for ourselves, I'm honestly confused as to how they have any positive reviews at all. I only continued eating because I'm not one to complain. I don't like to waste the food, and I was going to pay for it anyway. My son on the other hand couldn't even continue eating because his pasta was so hard. We were compensated for it but he stayed hungry. The food was a bad experience but to make matters worse, they had a big screen playing music videos. At one point, they aired an extremely inappropriate video with a rapper in a strip club, featuring naked women in a sexualized manner. I was there with my three kids (ages 3, 7, and 10), and I immediately had to stand up and ask them to change the video. I told my kids to cover their eyes while the DJ figured it out, because it wasn't immediate. The manager saw what happened and no one apologized or addressed what happened. I was beyond upset, as I've never exposed my children to anything like that, and to experience it at a family-friendly restaurant was unacceptable. I found this restaurant online and decided to give it a try. It's a pretty small place, but very well decorated and great atmosphere. It seems like they do live entertainment at some point because they have a stage, however I am not sure what days and times. The staff was very friendly from the moment we arrived. Our waiter was nice, however he was spread pretty thin. He took a bit to get back to our table for refills, or for us to ask for sauces etc. The food was delicious.
