[[HIGHLIGHT]]Very nice, small town, country vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Good prices and selection but I cannot resist trying a CFS in places like this. Cowboys knocked it out of the park. Mashed taters and green beans on point. Especially the green beans. Grandma style! Servers are attentive. Definitely coming back.

I took my family here over this past Labor Day weekend. It was our first time here. We were seated quickly and the waitress wasn't far behind Over all the service was good. There were a few times that we were left unattended, but I think it had more to do with understaffing. Our waitress was very sweet very kind and I have no problems with her. The food was cooked order in served nice and hot.. and good! [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was a very comfortable meal![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were able to sit and talk for quiet awhile as it wasn't very busy for a Saturday morning.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall the only complaint I had was the price (showing my age) for a party of 5 the bill came to over $75 for a modest breakfast [[HIGHLIGHT]]Loved the old downtown vibe[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We were in the area for our grandsons basketball tournament and between games looking for a place to eat that wasn't fast food. This fit the bill! Grandson ordered chocolate chip pancakes with bacon and I got the Tex mex skillet. The skillet had potatoes, eggs, chorizo, jalapeños, cheese and tortilla strips. I didn't want the sour cream. Both were excellent! The server was friendly and helpful and the food came quickly. It's a great local place that we will definitely be returning to when we're in the area. It's a hidden gem!

Service is excellent and the food is off of the charts good, the folks in the kitchen know what they are doing, hands down the best breakfast & lunch place for us!!

Drinks, full bellies after our huge meal

Food-10/10 Service-10/10 Ambience-10/10 Our waitress, Presley, did a FANTASTIC job! I did not expect this hole-in-the wall restaurant to be so great! Our waitress, Presley, checked on us 3 times asking if we are good and needed a refill and was very polite and the service was quick! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Everyone just talking and laughing away. So much fun.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The only bad thing is that you cannot give 10 stars

I ordered a water and a black moldy lemon or lime slice floated up from the bottom of my water glass to the top as I stirred my water and took a drink! I fished out the extremely black moldy lemon or lime slice and showed the male "owner". He just said, "oh"....as I asked for another glass of water. We should've gotten up and left right then and there. But, after much discussion, we decided to remain. Since there appears there's only an elderly male and female working this place, we had to wait for the elderly female to get done sweeping outside to come in and cook our breakfast. Then our breakfast was served in shifts because she was doing the cooking and serving while the male was working elsewhere. We needed "to go" boxes and had to wait 5-10 minutes to get them...even tho we were only 2 of the 4 people in the whole place. This place isn't going to make it after it appears it has changed hands from years ago. At this point, we hope we don't end up with some kind of food poisoning from our experience.

Flawless vibe and killer food…read more It is incredibly rare to find a spot that can pull off a fresh, healthy sit-down dinner and a laid-back bite after a brutal workday, but Elm Fork completely nails both. We went for dinner first. Brian had the lamb tacos and I ordered the mesquite-smoked salmon with steamed broccoli and a sweet potato. It was perfect--light, smoky, and genuinely healthy without being boring. We loved the atmosphere so much that after a crazy busy workday the very next day, we headed straight back. The smoked wings are top-tier and the queso is exactly what you want at the end of a long day. What really made our visit stand out was a delightful conversation with one of the co-owners, Michael. He told us all about how they source their unique draft beers from all over--including an incredible one from Iowa that Brian absolutely loved. The vibe here is just right, and the bar staff and servers are amazing. Whether you want a great dinner or just a solid spot to unwind with a unique brew, this place is a must-visit.

It was heavy on mayo but semi my fault bc I didn't ask what the toppings were. I appreciate there were plenty of pickles though! The fries were particularly tasty, well seasoned with salt and pepper. The Greek salad is like a chopped salad, topped with feta, tomatoes, olives and cucumbers I believe. It is tossed in dressing already. It is seriously delicious. I love that it is tossed and mixed and it is sooo good. The inside is spacious so would be good for large parties to dine in. The location is a bit hidden since it is not front facing to the street but rather around the corner. The construction and traffic on Swisher really suck too, so I hope this place is able to continue on given this. I will definitely be back! No pics, I was too hungry

The kebabs were fresh, moist and tasty. The yellow rice was delish! The hummus, nice and creamy. The tabouli was great as well. We decided to try the tiramisu for desert and it was yummy. We entered on a weekday mid afternoon and was greeted with a friendly hello and any help to see the menu. There were no paper menus, just the menu up on the screens above the counter. There are few sandwiches and salads, but they all looked very good so we chose the Cuban Press and Turkey Pesto Press sandwiches. After a short wait, we got our orders each on a silver tray with nicely presented half cut sandwiches and homemade chips. The Cuban press sandwich was warm, filled with seasoned chopped pork and sliced ham melted with cheese and brown mustard on a grilled ciabatta bread. It was really good like a comfort food. The turkey pesto had two thick, sliced turkey breast, warmed with freshly made pesto spread, which bloomed with the bright green color and the smell of prime freshness, and nestled with melted cheese on a grilled ciabatta bread. The first bite really welcomed the combo of warm turkey and fresh pesto. Delicious! The homemade chips were super delicious and we ate every single piece. The sandwiches were so large that we had enough to take home for another meal. The dining room was small and cozy and had two tall tables, 2 medium tables and one couple size table in the corner. Service was super friendly and sincere. Their workers really cared about the food and making it right the first time. This really is a foodie place. They had bottled wines on the wall to select from and another small cooler with chilled wines and specialty beers. They had fresh made sides upfront and desserts, but we skipped this time. Definitely something worth getting on another visit. This place was very clean. Bathroom was well taken care of. This place is in a small strip mall and is definitely worth stopping by just right off the interstate. When we're around this area again, we'd certainly will stop by again.
