This year we installed a grid of Tesla solar panels and PowerWall so we could make use of the clean energy tax allowance. I felt just a little out of my depth and with 'significant' tax liability the last thing we wanted was to mess up our filing so we did not get the full benefit of the credit. I discovered J & S on Yelp and I'm so glad I did. Hugh was so easy to work with, friendly and approachable, and highly capable taking our best interests to heart. I've never seen a more complete and methodically assembled tax filing and he discovered errors in one of our previous year's filings which we will be refiling for since we are still owed a refund. This tax year we are looking at a very sizable refund from our taxes and we are a peace knowing it was all done correctly and nothing we could have benefited from got over-looked. Next day, I have waited over an hour so far and am still sitting here waiting and it's now after 5 when they close. They already destroyed my weekend and I'm going to be screwed if they blow me off again as I can NOT take more time off work to have my appointments ignored. Twice. I am on a painfully tight schedule which is why I MADE AN APPOINTMENT in the first place. Utterly unprofessional. Update: after 2 hours and 20 minutes of waiting on day 2, the server went down and no one could actually help me. The staff members mostly seemed to think this was very funny and laughed a lot. I did not find it humorous at all. Leaving the location without having actually been helped after being blown off twice and waiting hours on two successive days. Is it worth mentioning the receptionist didn't have shoes on, just painted toenails? I mean, go you with the cool fashion choices and all, but I would at least appreciate professionalism in honoring appointments and actually helping people instead of literally laughing at them when they find out they still aren't being helped after waiting yet another two and a half hours. Not okay, Jackson Hewitt. IDGAF if everyone in the office dances the polka with their underwear on their heads as long as clients get professional treatment with respect for appointments and schedules, but that's not happening here. They explained to me that their system books people on the hour but returns often take much longer, so people just have to wait their turn in the order of their appointment. Um, no, that is neither my problem nor an appropriate way to do business. Fix your appointment system FFS. Update on day 3: someone may have scanned our documents in upside down, they cannot find the paperwork that was left with them on Friday without calling someone who took it over to WalMart so it wasn't even accessible during the appointment they set for us for whatever reason, and we're over an hour into a 'quick stop in and sign the paper' appointment. If you start early enough you won't have a problem getting an appointment time that fits your schedule. Our taxes are pretty straight forward and Tim always has them done within two weeks or so. The office staff is friendly and emails you when your returns are ready to be picked up and signed. Once we return the forms back to them they always promptly file it and we quickly receive our refund. My husband and I will continue reaching out to Tim during tax season!

He has taken no action to try an correct his mistake. Now, the IRS has also deposited her stimulus check into this BB&T account. It's been a year now and my mother has spent countless hours trying to fix his mistake. We may have to take Tim Wicker to court.
