The smell of a dentist office and the sound of the drill are 2 huge triggers for my blood pressure and heart rates to start soaring! The first time I walked into Dr Anderson's office, I noticed there was NO dentist office "stinky smell" and was pleasantly surprised! I loved how friendly everyone was, from the front desk, to the exam room and back to billing/appointments. When I met Dr Anderson, I liked him right away! He's one of those people who put you at ease and make you feel good. He explained everything in a way I understood & during the procedure he checked several times to be sure all was well. Over and over I have seen that when someone loves what they do, it's reflected all around them. I believe that Dr Anderson is the magic behind the awesome energy and success of his office.

I took my 2yr old here and she fell asleep right before we arrived and stayed asleep the whole time (didn't open her eyes!) he had me lean her back into his lap, looked at her teeth and answered any and all questions I had and gave me some advice and info. It was super short and sweet and about $70 for the appointment but I had a coupon for a free exam so it cost me nothing. They also applied my free x-Rays to when she's old enough to have them!

Each person treats me with kid gloves, yet, manages to get the job done well. I've been going there about 3 years now, ever since I move East from Seattle. Dr. Martinssen has done repair of fillings and cleanings. The Front office staff is friendly and very helpful. Dr M even brought in other well qualified and competent dentists when he was out in an emergency. I really appreciated that so I didn't have the burden of looking elsewhere. However, before I got setup with them, I had…read morespecifically asked if they took my insurance (which is a major carrier), and said they did as if it was in-network. It wasn't until many months later and much work done, that their purposely-elusive wording finally came to surface, along with having an internal policy of not letting the patient know when their insurance is actually out-of-network. Needless to say got stuck with an unexpected and rather expensive dental bill instead. So they too just turned out to be yet another unscrupulous north-Idaho business that has always gotten away with it in this notorious anti-consumer state. Kudos I guess.
