I'll be brutally genuine with you. This school healthcare is a fucking risk or traumatize, and I'm one of those unfortunate students to be fucking stuck here for my inevitable tragedy of education. I genuinely don't want kids to be stuck here questioning if education is even worth it, I'm already stuck knee-deep in this goddamn nightmare. I have felt so stressed, scared of what might happen, and the turmoil that has built up inside of me since my 7 years of being stuck here, (or longer. I can't keep track anymore) I genuinely hate it here, and I actually want to drop out. I don't wanna continue or pursue a education, please. just do not take your kid to CPC. it's heavily risky with no award whatever. I am actually a student that goes to this school. CPC is the worst health "care" there. Their school is even awful. My last review wasn't recommended, all bc i said what was 100% true. BEWARE: Dr. Lee is hands down, without question the worst, most cold, unfeeling robot of a Doctor -with a bedside manner only to be rivaled by, like, an angry IT dude begrudgingly fixing your work computer. She is intentionally unresponsive if you have questions or needs outside of your appointment time. Her assistant/case managers are equally icy, slow to respond and the whole operation is just a horrible time and 100% the last office on earth where people not feeling their personal best should be. Dr. Lee does not care about your wellness and it will take 2 minutes of one appointment for you to be able to deduce as such. Great regret in having chosen CPC/Dr. Lee. Summary: Run for the hills if yr already a patient and/or DON'T run into the cold winds of this ICE QUEEN psychiatrist if you're not already in her vicelike deathgrip. read more

I never had any real issue with this place until recently, when i was given a stipulation to go to a program and complete outside of CPC only then could i return. i was given an ultimatum from the supervisors here which only upset me more than i already was. Besides that i am not a fan of any of the Doctors in that office, i was transferred to many over the several years i was a client there. there were only two therapists here i ever liked. i and she got along well and i enjoyed working with her a lot. she sadly left CPC and for me I felt that even if i did come back it would not be helpful for me. But any place that gives stipulations in my mind doesn't care about the clients needs. i was let down and hurt By CPC, and i use to love this place and i use to think the world of the providers here and i still do but i felt that my situation was not done correctly, The supervisors think they are doing me a huge favor by what they recommended for me. to, i got the impression they did not truly care if i came back or left altogether. read more

Office staff was kind of rude. I missed an appointment, apparently someone in the office rescheduled me and changed my doctor without my knowledge. They would not refill medication because I had 2 missed appointments. Which would make sense if I had actually missed a second appointment. Shawna was a bit rude and couldn't answer who had actually scheduled the appointment. If you can use your insurance elsewhere I would suggest avoiding this office. If you're looking for a place to take your money for nothing, then CPC is the place for you. I was working with a therapist and less than a year into treatment, she says she got promoted and gave me a choice of staying with her or getting a new therapist. I opted to stay with her until our next session where she told me she isn't going to be a therapist anymore. So why tell me I could stay with her? Lying doesn't help anyone. I got a new therapist, and she lasted maybe 4 months until she decided to move on. I called over a week ago to request a new therapist as my last one didn't leave me any messages saying she's leaving CPC, have yet to hear back. I called the crisis line and nobody answered. If you decide to work with mentally ill people, you need to take into account that we don't do well with change. And no notice on the big deal of switching therapists only makes it worse. Don't work in this field if it's too much for you, plain and simple. I'm not unreasonable, I get it that people have lives and other things going on, but the entirety of your job is working with those who struggle to regulate emotions. Perhaps there is a better way of making these big changes. This is a life or death field you're in. Take it seriously. read more

I only go there for pain management because they take all insurance. Their counselors, whether they specialize in addiction issues or not, are terrible. I've had experiences with three of them, and all they are able to do is ask you questions off a pre-written intake questionnaire. A severe waste of time! Plus it takes 3 months or more to get your initial appointment and then it's a disaster. If you keep your appointments for medication, you can get by with the doctors every few months. The pharmacy on site, Genoa is excellent. But on days like today, the Friday before Presidents' Day, the center is closed for a 4 day weekend! So forget it if you need a prescription called in. You're out of luck. I wouldn't go there if I had better insurance. read more

RUDE. I just made an appointment after being a patient for 12 years. And i have to wait 3 months. Then They call while I'm on the other line and leave no message. i call back twice and speak to 2 different people all extremely rude "how should i know who called and why" well why dont you try and find out for me?? Then one said maybe they want you to come at 1230 i said oh so is that why they called "how should i know?! What time is your appt?" I said 1 pm "well then i guess so." So is my appt at 1230 or 1?? "I dont know you need to find out who is calling you." What?! And where dod you get 1230 from?? Everytime i've gone there for 12 years its been unprofessional and rude staff. I am currently having problems with CPC(Middletown office). I was told during my intake appointment that they would try to get me in to see a doctor or refer me somewhere else. I called and left 4 messages that were never returned. They are very unprofessional. read more
