What a great find this place is. Easy to get into, plenty of parking and has a fun ambience to it. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and the menu has plenty of options. I had the catfish sliders for lunch and I gotta say, fried foods tear me up. I suffer for a day or two after eating something fried like that but, I would go back and have these again because they were fantastic. Perfectly cooked, the sliders are good portions, you get three in your lunch and honestly too is plenty so this is definitely something that a couple people could split. The location was good, close to hotels in the downtown area. As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted by Megan. Megan was also our server, answered all of our questions. We ordered a crab leg special, buy 2 pads of crab legs and get 2 pd free. It worked out perfectly. The seasoning was on point, garlic butter, medium spicy. We have been here twice now. Great seafood place. Service was very good. This time I ordered the coconut shrimp and crab meat fries. The coconut comes with a romoulade and it is sweet with a hint of spicy...very good. The fries have a great taste. Don't expect chunks of crab meat though. Went to this place last night, with friends. When we arrived a lady was already complaining that her & her daughter food was incorrect. So the server finally gets to our table , the place was clean. we ordered but she's not writing anything down , So I'm guessing she can memorize it to repeat. The food finally comes & everybody food is wrong & absolutely YUCKY & COLD & look disgusting!! We told the server , and it's like she didn't even care !!! Delightful seafood location! As we walked to the door I saw the host washing the lobby windows. To me, this is a sign of great training anda staff that cares, going beyond. We love seafood and enjoyed the crab boil. My husband had the fried fish but shared some of mine. Wait staff was knowledgeable, helpful and prompt. Drink order was perfect. So I've been here a few times now they have the best seafood in Wilson. I like to order the seafood boil the sauce is delicious far better than that spot by big lots. I've also tried some of the fried seafood and it's equally delicious and perfectly cooked the prices for the fried seafood is competitive with other restaurants around town I don't care for mayflower as their food is just bland and taste like old grease I'm now recommending this place to visitors since it's cheaper for me to buy my seafood at the market then just come here for the sauce and boom crab d jour at home lol read more

Despite a little confusion at the door regarding table availability, three of us had dinner here tonight and we're all very happy. The food was very good and the service from Connie was excellent. They don't have their liquor license yet, which is unfortunate but certainly didn't stop us from enjoying our meal. One other thing to note, is that we ordered a dozen raw oysters, but unfortunately they only have one style. Oyster was good, but it would have been nice if they hadchoices to pick from. Great quality seafood and good service! Presentation was unique and entertaining. The decor was fun and kids would enjoy getting a picture with the pirate that looks like Johnny Depp from Pirates of the Caribbean outside. They let you choose how spicy you want your seafood boil so if you don't like spice definitely choose "mild!" Only complaint was the napkins needed to be thicker, but our waitress Larita warned us ahead of time and brought us extra. Overall, great experience and we will definitely be back! read more

It's ashamed to leave a negative review against this restaurant when the biggest issue is leadership. The Wilson staff is managed by a lady named Connie and she treats her staff horribly. She struggles to keep help because she has been known to fire her employees without cause and then rehire them because she can't get people to show up, just to fire them again. Crab Dujour should reassess their management because she lacks the leadership skills needed to help this place thrive. Sadly my daughter was just fired for "asking too many questions". Give me a break lady. If she had received the training she needed she wouldn't have to ask so many questions. It's ashamed too because my daughter was doing well and the customers loved her. It goes without saying the only things she'll miss are the customers and the tips they left her!! As a parent, I'm relieved not to hear her tell me another story about how her manager lacks support, compassion, and is blatantly rude to everyone. She has told my daughter a number of times that the only reason she made good tips was because she "got lucky". I'm still trying to figure out if she's talking about my daughter or the customers. I enjoyed the different seafood broil combinations offered. The food was very flavorful however I believe the prices are somewhat inflated in relation to the portion sizes. I would recommend this restaurant but just see if the predefined combos or Ala carte would be a better value for you. read more

I wish I could give a zero after coming out here since they opened. I'm disgusted with the lack of respect I've been shown and the lack of care the business has for their mistakes. I placed an order on June 11, 2023, online, and picked it up. We got two boil bags for $59.74. In one bag, there was 1/2 pound of shrimp and 6 ounces of lobster tail. Other bag 1/2-pound scallops 1/2 pound of shrimp. When I got home, all the seafood was rubbery and very tough to eat. I had to drive from Rocky Mount to Wilson. I called and spoke with Amy, who advised she would remake. I went back to Wilson from Rocky Mount with both bags. Jamika refused to remake the lobster bag, saying that it was fine rubbing and smashing food in the bag. "She says she was inspecting the bag." She then says they would only be remaking the scallops. They picked all the scallops out of the back and put the food back in the same bag she returned, refusing to remake the second bag. When I was complaining, she walked away from me. I went back in to ask her name, and she stated the owner told her not to remake the food, only the scallops. When I got home, the scallops were not remade; they were still rubbery and cold. When I tried to call the restaurant back, nobody would answer my call. I was unable to eat any of the food. I called the next day, June 12, 2023, to speak with a manager. Connie, who advised me that she had no clue about the issue, says that she spoke with the chef, who says he did remake those scallops. There is no way he did remake those scallops because they were cold and rubbery. Connie states she can see all my orders, and she can see all the times. I've gotten scallops, and they were never like this. Connie refuses to help, saying she has already remade the food once. This is absolutely insane. I didn't ask for my money back; all I wanted was the $60 in food remade. I will never come back after all this time. The business must really be hurting to refuse to do right by an order. read more
