Most items that my partner and I ordered were solid and there was little to give constructive criticism about overall, but specific items warranted various levels of improvement per our opinions. We came here for a birthday brunch so we had many people in our party, but this review will mainly contain items my partner and I had ordered. My partner enjoyed the s'mores crepe a lot, citing that putting graham crackers into the crepe was a brilliant choice because it made the entire crepe entity like an actual s'more. They didn't enjoy, however, the smoked salmon crepe as much, saying that the salmon itself was too dry and the cream cheese was what made it more tolerable. Personally I enjoyed the huevos rancheros because the carnitas was very well-seasoned and tender. Even though the salsa was too mild and the black beans were not seasoned, it was still overall a pretty good experience to have this dish. My family members seem to visit this place a lot, so I am curious about what some of the other dishes on their menu may be like. While I am not sure when I would be able to return, I will definitely branch out into other items on the menu if I do manage to be here again. read more

I have lost count as to how many times Mom and I have patronized this establishment, but suffice it to say that the Food, Service, and Ambiance here is consistent - it is clear that high-quality ingredients are being used to create those Egg White Omelets(who can forget the Turkey Bacon?), Scrambled Egg Whites, and Fluffy Chocolate Chip Pancakes we speak so highly of and have grown to love. When a pancake is too gummy(I have experienced this at other places), you can tell right away, but that is not the case here! Adan is the best! He is our server every time we visit and is very receptive to our needs. Everyone else we encounter on every single visit is kind and attentive. My Mom decided to try something different from the Chicken Florentine Crepe on this visit , so she ordered an Egg White Omelet with Tomatoes and Spinach, a side of Grits, and a Biscuit. It was an average brunch environment. The decor wasn't as nice as some places we've been to, but it was clean and fairly inviting. Unfortunately we stood up front for a while before being greeted while staff talked at the desk. The seating was fairly comfortable, but we asked to move to an outer booth as the tables and booths around the center of the restaurant all had fans above them running fairly high and we didn't want our food getting cold before we had time to enjoy it. I ordered the steak & eggs and my husband had an omelet. The omelet presentation and make was a little underwhelming. The cheese was slices of cheese just placed on top & in the middle of the omelet versus shredded cheese throughout. The steak was not evenly cooked, and some was too well done to enjoy. The eggs were also scrambled hard and the grits were thin, which is not my personal preference. The service left more to be desired. The food was dropped off at the table and we had to ask for the drinks we ordered earlier to be delivered. The original toast delivered also had one piece properly toasted on top of a burnt piece of toast, which was quickly switch out by the waiter. Maybe it was just our experience, but aside from the chairs being comfortable and the interior being cute, it's safe to say we won't be coming back. We did two rounds of orders - first was drinks for my husband and I, and my daughters breakfast. (Like hack - enjoy your food without having to worry about if your kiddos ate). So, we placed our first order: the kids breakfast with an over hard egg (because our daughter is well under 5) , and two mochas - one with milk, the other with almond milk. When we got our first order delivered, the egg was cooked over medium, not over hard as requested. Had to take that away because that's not safe.. the drink my husband had was a mocha, and mine tasted strange... so I asked what it was, she said that it was an almond latte... not what I had asked for.. I didn't taste much chocolate in it either. It was overwhelmingly sweet... stopped drinking it because I was worried that they used regular milk and did not want to ruin the rest of the day. Then, a food runner attempted to deliver a large order of berry pancakes, but I told them that it wasn't ours (though I wish it was now because they looked great) since we hadn't placed mine or my husbands orders. And realizing that we didn't place our orders yet, I ordered the salmon toast, and my husband had the fiesta skillet with sourdough toast. When our food arrived, the bread was not toasted and looked like something I could have made at home.. it was mediocre. They served decaf coffee which I was grateful for. My table all ordered items from the griddle (pancakes, waffles, etc.) but the table next to us had an omelette that was making my mouth water. Make sure to order the bacon crispy and your eggs over hard. The peanut butter was nice and melted on my crepe and my sister's Nutella waffle was something to envy. If you're concerned about comfy seating, I'd ask for a booth. The chairs at the standard tables are a little snug for a bigger person but the booths are comfy and plenty of room. It's a holiday week and the restaurant was about 70% full. Clean and brisk. We got sat and had good attentive service. This is the first time we've tried this restaurant and we're excited. I ordered the fiesta hash. I got a choice of eggs, meat and toast/pancakes etc. the fiesta hash has jalepenos. My pallet can handle medium heat if I don't want to be an embarrassed by sweating and asking for piles of napkins. I asked if the jalapeños were grilled or raw. I asked for them to go light on jalapeños selected chorizo and grits for my side over bread. My partner ordered ultimate berry crepes and a few sides. The sausages were brought as rounds and were salty to our taste and a bit overcooked. Noticeable but not horrible. The presentation and speed of service were both on par with a busy brunch place. My fiesta hash was flavorful but the avocado was far from generous. My skillet was a bit spicy for me, and had what I'd assume is an almost normal amount of jalapeños but that's just a guess. My dishes scrambled eggs were also overwhelming in ratio. The waitress brought a home made pico which was great. My dish was good overall not great and if I came back I would have ordered more avacado and eggs on the side. The ingredients are good quality, the food tastes good but just didn't overwhelm me in a lasting way. The crepes were the best item we ordered, visually stunning and a little thicker than the average and the spread was not overwhelming or runny. I would come again as they have a large menu and are capable of creating great food. I feel great restaurants require the guest to come often enough to find some favorites. We assumed she'd provide recommendations but instead, walked off. It was semi busy at the moment so we didn't really make it a big deal. Another male waiter came up to us and asked if we had questions about the menu, which we did! We were able to gain clarity and ordered lattes and fresh pineapple juice, which was good!!! We ordered the Savannah skillet, steak skillet, strawberry crepes and an omelet. The Savannah skillet was a 7.5/10 (I was hoping the veggies and sausage were more sautéed), the pancakes were nice and fluffy. If you like sweet fluffy pancakes these are for you. The steak and omelet was good! The crepes were blah but we had let them get cold by the time we tried them. I'm sure they're much better fresh off the skillet. I don't know what has happened to the service in this place over the last year but it has gone terrible. We have come here for years and had an amazing service experience on top of the food being fantastic. A few months back it seemed like the staff completely changed and not for the better. The younger females working are lazy and struggling on basic service. They brought our food out fast and half the order was incorrect, but they wouldn't know because they dropped it down and ran off without asking. To make matters worse we had no silverware. I had to go find someone to bring some and that took another ten minutes while the food was wrong and cold. The server never came back to check. Just awful the last few times we've gone. It's a rainy Sunday here in Frisco, so a nice warm breakfast was what I was on the hunt for. In doing my usual Yelp! Scroll I stumbled upon this place and the name intrigued me so I took a chance. I was sat immediately and once that good coffee hit my lips I was at peace. I had some help in picking what to get and decided on the Migas with chorizo. It was very tasty and the ability to make your own breakfast taco with them I felt took this dish to the next level. You get like four meals in on or at least two (kind of like a transformer, they are more than meets the eye). It had lots of flavor and wasn't spicy at all for me, but could depending on if you have a low spice tolerance. The hash browns were good and crispy but fairly unremarkable otherwise. The service was great and my server was very friendly and made sure I was well taken care of. Average at best! Very IHOP from what I could tell. First, I ordered from DoorDash and I received Krispy Kreme instead of my $50 order from here. The bun was nicely toasted and huge but shiny top which yuck, the meat patty was not bad but really tiny too fit the huge bun and they didn't have any topics not even a pickle or condiments. I wanted to salmon toast but for some reason I received the crepe egocentric was not great . I pulled everything off and put on the cinnamon toast which helped. Barely anu cream cheese and salmon should be cold and it was warm. Very basic! The eggs were scrambled but so dry I couldn't even eat them. The bacon has good flavor but wasn't fully cooked. Nice size though. The maple syrup was not worth the extra cost. Everything was like an overpriced hotel breakfast that you think will br scrumptious but never really is that great. I was really excited to try this place. I watched it from the building phase until open. And I was curious about the menu. Finally last weekend my friend and I gave it a try. We were seated quickly and a waiter came to service us. I ordered for myself and my friend. She looks confused and states I didn't place an order. She goes and grabs the receipt and shows one order. Then she apologizes and says oh I thought it was only one order. So I order again and wait another 10 minutes for my food to finally arrive. The food looks great but none of it is seasoned. You will have to season yourself. Now this past Friday I place an online order for breakfast. Thinking this may be better than going into the restaurant since the service wasn't the best the last time. I place an order for Smoked Salmon Crepe and Tres Leches Pancakes. My friend goes to pickup the order and orders additional pancakes for himself at the restaurant. I get my order and I have 3 plain pancakes instead of the Tres Leches Pancakes I ordered. I call the restaurant and the First Lady I speak with puts me on hold and ends the call. I call again and explain to the guy what happened with my order. Immediately he becomes rude yelling I only see an order for regular pancakes so I don't know what you're talking about. I explain again what I ordered and let him know I have a screenshot of the confirmation of the order when I placed it. Which clearly shows exactly what I ordered. He continues yelling it's only regular pancakes. I then ask him what's the price of the regular pancakes and the tres leches pancakes. He states 10 bucks for regular and 14 for tres leches. I said ok and you can see on the receipt I paid 14. He says yes but I only see regular pancakes on the order and I can't help you. So I ask for the manager. He states the manger isn't there and he's the supervisor. I said ok then who can refund me the difference for the pancakes. He states only the manger can do it but he's not there and he doesn't know when he'll be there. He says I can give your number. I said ok take my number and if I don't get a call within a reasonable amount of time then I'll come back to the store. Ultimately I decided not to go to the store and I never received a call from the manager. However I decided to leave this review to make others aware of the customer service at this place. That man was so rude on the phone and offered me no help at all. I will never dine here again and I will never recommend this place to anyone. This is the Frisco location btw. read more
