My Order: Catfish Nuggets, Pit Combo Plate with Beef Brisket and Baby Back Ribs The Food: The catfish nuggets were good and probably the best thing I had. The brisket and baby back ribs were disappointing. The meat tasted dry, old, and had very little flavor. I expected a lot more from the barbecue based on the look and vibe of the place. The Atmosphere: The restaurant itself looks really nice and has a good setup. However, I would definitely avoid sitting outside in the back area because the flies and little bugs will attack your food while you are trying to eat. The Experience: The service was good overall. Our server made good recommendations and was honest we loved our app. The sausage gumbo is legit and all the others were fried and yummy. I would recommend the gator be cut a bit smaller so not so hard to eat but flavor good. We have the fried chicken and the ribs. Ngl food all tasted great and wasn't disappointed at all. We dropped in for food. My sister and I got sliders, brother in law got the full rack of baby back ribs that he split with his oldest, and the other two kids got chicken chunks and chicken tenders. We also added a few sides. Everything was perfect! Sliders were cooked to perfection on potato buns buttered and toasted. All the fried options were light and not too oily but also rich and flavorful. The hushpuppies were probably the best I've had in a very long time. Rib meat literally just fell off the bone. The staff here have been trying to fill his shoes by submitting and pulling their drinks at the bar. Be patient as they are still growing. Had yet another chance to taste some of the local flavors and ended up here. The food was amazing, I went with the nightly special of catfish! Had live music and the house was about 70 percent full. Service was a bit lacking..... never got silverware and had to ask twice for it before finally going and getting my own. Fried-chicken was very good, a great crispy crust and hot and juicy inside. The Loaded Tots met our expectations as well...covered by cheese and bacon. The Gator Bites fell short as we were expecting the portion size to be larger than they were. Our server Rhina was great suggesting the Chicken dinner and taking care of us. We took the cornbread back to our Motel and I'll have that for breakfast! The restaurant itself is very large inside and upon leaving we saw a sign leaning up against the fence that advertised Hog Roasts on the weekends, if that's still a thing I think it'd be a good idea to look into if you're in the area! We've had take out from Cracklin Jack's, but recently, we were passing by and decided to go inside to check it out. Well, the restaurant is clean, and there is lots of room for larger groups. This is definitely a place to bring a large family or group of friends, for some good southern food. Our waitress got us started on drinks and a bowl of fried okra as an appetizer, while we perused the menu. It's nice to be offered a lunch menu and I decided on the BBQ brisket sandwich, while hubs went with the fried catfish sandwich. Their sandwiches come with fries and slaw and the portions are big. This trip had us leaving with boxes for the rest of our meal. Everything was tasty, hubs catfish sandwich was fried just right and my brisket was fork tender. They offer a variety of down south options, including alligator and frog legs. This is definitely not for the timid! Southern favorites are on the menu, including fried chicken, gumbo, rib eye, a variety of seafood dishes and side vittles. Their side dishes include sweet potato fries, mashed potatoes with choice of gravy, hush puppies and the best corn muffins. We have been coming here for years. Before they moved locations. I've been a fried chicken fanatic my whole life. After moving to Colorado 18 years ago, whenever I came back to the south I had to find fried chicken. Stumbled upon this place and have been going ever since! The fried chicken is amazing. Have to get at least 1 order of frog legs to share. They also have fried catfish and all sorts of things. The sides switch out, just like the meat- n-3s' I grew up going to... and miss SO much! So yummy! They have a big back patio with live music and a really nice corn hole set up. Tables to eat are outside as well. They also have a pretty good salad bar. The kids meals use to come on a frisbee you can keep. Not sure if they still do, haven't gotten a kids meal in a while.... but that was always fun for the kids! I am extremely disappointed. We met my in laws for family dinner. THREE of our orders were wrong, my sons didn't come out until we had the check, and was still missing his sides. My husbands brisket was completely fat pieces. The waitress spilled brown gravy all over our daughter's diaper bag and then walked away without Even saying anything. She then gave herself a $42 tip before handing us the console to pay. The busser came over multiple times to take our food away as we were still eating. I asked him twice to wait until we were done eating and he continued to try and take my plate away. this was a $200 tab.... And the place was empty. There was no reason for the horrendous service we received. I will be telling people about our experience and will not be coming back. read more

This place has a sit in restaurant in the front and a cool outside bar in the back. They have live music on the weekends. Our server was very friendly and helpful. We ordered drinks first. My old fashioned was odd. They muddled a cherry and orange slice then mixed it. Very odd taste but good liquor pour. We ordered the garden salad that was delicious and fresh. Our order of wings came out. We ask for crispy chicken wings. They were barely cooked and there were no drums out of 8 wings. My wife likes the flats and I like drums. The giant smoker in the parking lot tells you what you need to know about this solid spot for southern comfort food in a laid back setting. Our friendly server's advice was spot on and the sides of cole slaw, stewed tomatoes and onion rings were perfect for sampling the BBQ. So let's get to the meat. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, and the baby backs were cooked perfectly. Moderate smoke, no sauce needed. Spare ribs were good but not great --meaty but more grilled than smoked. The only (slight) disappointment was the brisket - thin and not nearly as flavorful as the other meats. If you're on I-75 in the Naples area and hungry, the generous portions will nourish you coming on or off Alligator Alley. read more

If my review does not encourage you to stop by, know that Guy Fieri himself filmed a Drive in, Diners and Dives episode at C-Jacks in 2025 to celebrate the new owner chef and good ole scratch cooking! I was delighted to find Southern favorites on the menu like steak fried pork with white gravy, mashed potatoes and collard greens. This place used to be one of our favorites, which made this experience especially disappointing. During our meal, we were brought the wrong order. When we let the waiter know, the replacement meal took so long to arrive that the other three people in our party had already finished eating by the time the correct dish came out. When the bill came, we weren't given a copy to review. The server simply asked for a card. The total seemed high, so we went back the next day to ask for an itemized receipt. That's when we discovered we had been charged for both the incorrect meal (that they took away) and the replacement meal, even though the mistake was theirs. We also noticed that the sides had a $2 upcharge each that was never mentioned when we asked what sides were available. Since each entrée came with 2 sides, that meant an extra $4 per person in charges that we weren't informed about. Service outside was also very limited. The staff seemed severely understaffed, and we had very little attention throughout the meal. This restaurant used to be great, but based on this experience, it unfortunately isn't what it used to be. Between the incorrect order, the long wait for a replacement, surprise charges, and lack of service, it left a very poor impression. read more

Food was quite disappointing. I was pretty hungry after attending my daughter's soccer tournament at the nearby sports complex. I hadn't had breakfast that morning so I was really famished. I searched Yelp as always and thought this place had 3.5 stars, it was the closest place and we had another game coming up in less than an hour so I needed quick. I ordered the Pick 2 Basket and got grouper and shrimp. I LOVE GROUPER so I was excited. This was not red grouper though so it was soft and a tad mushy. The breading had too much salt and was a lot harder than the fish so it wasn't holding together very well. The shrimp...same deal. The breading just fell off. It was just salty food. Nothing special about it. However, the girl at the counter was such a sweet person. Very pleasant and made recommendations to help me save money. Aside from great customer service, the place was relatively empty but appeared clean and well organized. However, this isn't a place I'd plan to revisit. read more

This a decent seafood restaurant in this area. I am here for the blackened fish. This is the better restaurant in this area. I was here because of my work assignment. The restaurant has the backyard outside seating or the inside. Most people that seat in the inside dining room are a bit older age. I got the local pick two basket with blackened catfish and fried scallops dish. For the quantity, I give them the A plus. For the taste of blacken is B minus. For the side is quite good. Freshness is B plus. Service is C due slow response. Wait from order is about 25 minutes. Overall they are average restaurant. One thing for sure turn the customer is bad impression is the tip selection is 20%, 22% or 25%. Very high. I wonder if the restaurant owner paid their workers enough. read more

Passed by this place many times in the 2 years living in Naples area. Glad I did not pass by today.... Drew me closer in when I saw the smoker out front bellowing with all goodness. This place did not disappoint - from the greeting I received when I walked down to the paying my tab. Very friendly staff - indulged the pork sandwich, fries and slaw along with an app. of chicken livers. All was great. We go to Crackling Jacks about once a month and we always have a wonderful experience. On our most recent trip we had Rhina and Ashley as our servers. As always the food was delicious, and the two ladies went above and beyond to make us feel right at home. What a wonderful experience in all respects. Happy Saturday Morning! Just wanted to tell you we visited on Wednesday around noon as we drove from Ft. Lauderdale to Naples just to eat at Cracklin' Jacks we saw on TV with Guy Fieri. Guy was spot on. We never had such delicious properly cooked food in our lives. We ordered grouper, frog legs the size of a weight-lifter, oysters, catfish, gator bites, mahi-mahi and they were all delicious and cooked to perfection. Sauces were brought to the table but the food was perfectly seasoned dipping sauce was not needed but we at it anyway. The salad had variety, delicious and the bisque was delicious and served at the perfect temperature. The drawn butter was an added touch. Hushpuppies were also out of this world. We grew up on these dishes and have found chef's do not know how to properly cook seafood in Ft. Lauderdale, Miami and other places as they overcook the food. Cracklin Jack's knows how to cook these special foods. We look forward to returning to your find establishment and got so excited about the menu we forgot to order the fried green tomatoes our favorite. By the way there was just enough breading on the food and it was not greasy. Our waiter/busboy(man) were attentive and watched out for our table despite many other customers he had to attend to. You have two very happy customers and intend to come at least monthly. Don't change a thing your restaurant nailed it. Thank you for being there for us as few restaurants know how to properly season/cook these specialties. Your prices are more than fair and portions were generous.
