I still know exactly where it is, what it has and why I always go there. They stock some great gifts for any adult, especially ones for special birthdays, like 40th, 18th, etc. Plus they have plenty of funny silly stuff you could give almost anyone with a sense of humour, plenty of drinking stuff like stands, mugs, etc. The walls are filled pretty much with limited edition prints of various descriptions. They have sport and plenty of music related ones. They are really good and quite well priced for what they are. They also have some great novelty stuff, especially the novelty phones they stock. They also have games, novelty t-shirts, some jewellery, watches and more. You need to go look. Most of their items are adult based items, although some just funny whilst others may be a little naughty. But all great fun!

That's what…read moreI like about this place - even though it's primarily a quilting shop, they stock a lot of other supplies like embroidery thread, haberdashery, and sewing cotton (which is what I was after). Friendly staff, and pretty helpful - I got a good tip for using cotton over polyester, which I hadn't thought of. Prices aren't super-cheap like Spotlight, but at least you know that the owners know what they are talking about. Since this area has a lack of sewing shops, I'm grateful for Patchwork By Sea, which saved me having to drive all the way down to Noarlunga just for sewing thread. My mum-in-law buys material for her quilting habit - sorry, HOBBY - and loves their range. I spotted Kaffe Fasset fabric here, which is pretty cool.
