Amazing selection of sour beers. The store did not give me a receipt for my credit card transaction till I asked for it. Always, always get a copy. You never know what is charged, so check. And the receipt was not itemized, so I had no way of knowing if I was correctly charged. Positive was I got some amazing beers to experience, negative is I probably over paid a few dollars (beers varied in price and there may have been a discount possible if you buy x, get an item 50% off), but without an itemized receipt - who knows! read more

CRAFT BEER HEAVEN! I've been following Craft Beer Kings on Instagram and have been wanting to visit their market for a long time now. I had a friend pick up a couple specialty bottles before (you must try the Game of Thrones beer from Ommegang..delish). I finally made the time to pop in to the El Monte location this weekend with my boyfriend and you can tell from the pictures how happy we were. Great selection of craft beer (wider selection than I've seen at other markets), wine, and champagne. I appreciate that they offer 4pack/6packs, as well as many singles. Make sure to ask the attendant if you can only find a pack of a beer that peaks your interest. They will gladly separate the pack and shelf them individually for you. We left with a pretty impressive haul and will no doubt be returning for several other brews we have our eyes on. read more

Just got my order for a rare drop of sour beers a month after ordered which is fine. No probably waiting for something i enjoy. But they shipped them all is a horribly packed box with zero dry ice or cooling pack with standard shipping. *So they shipped for 4 days in 70-90 degree weather with no dry ice or cool pack and ruined $250 worth of beers* When i used to order from them a few years ago they shipped with packs to keep them cool. This is the place to go to if you enjoy sours. I love their selection. I'm usually a creature of habit. If I like a beer, I'll get the same one every time. I notice they switch them up, which is great. I always try a new one and it never disappoints. They also have a great selection of blunt wraps you won't find at you're regular everyday liquor store. Each craft beer is about 10 dollars, so be ready to spend a bit more than your average miller lite or bud light type beer at 7/11. Those are still good go-tos, but I like to treat myself every now and then. As for the service, it's regular customer service. Exactly what I would expect, and I like that. Would I recommend? Based on my experience in ordering from their website. On day 13 now trying to get two orders fulfilled. Every time I reach out their sales department states it'll take two days to do so. Then again, two days. It's been like this for over a week. They do not answer emails until I reach out via Instagram. When I can their number, all I get is either a voicemail or an answer with, again, it'll take two more days. Then, I was told that some of the beers I ordered were out of stock. When I called, oh no they are not, but you need to wait two days. Incredibly frustrating at the lack of customer service. Even if they ship it, say, today, counting actual delivery time, it will take three weeks or more to get these orders fulfilled. Maybe even a month. Been coming here for years, and while they do have a good selection of different craft brands/styles, it seems that they've been a bit slow on new drops lately. 2-3 years ago you'd be able to stroll in and find a unicorn in the mist or something interesting on the regular (think heady topper/focal banger or a huge drop of great notion beers), but the past few months it seems there are more or less the same brands on the shelves. Its always nice being able to try different beers. I ended up getting head full of dynamite vol. 11 by fremont. An amazing brewery and not many stores carry it. They report that orders will take between 3-10 days to process and do not mention the additional 7-14 days that are required to ship the order. This time does not take into account the time it takes for the package to travel to you. I ordered two beers for the holidays on 12/18/2020, but did not receive the package until 12/31/2020. When I notified their sales department, I received a glib response stating "your order was rushed" and finally received a shipping notification. However, they neglected to respond to my request to change the shipping address as I was no longer at the address due to holiday travel.
