At the time, the purchase was substantial and we received excellent service from Rick Ritt and had recommended him. Sadly, we were unable to work with Rick on this most recent visit. We returned to the showroom for another project and were honestly shocked by the experience. Multiple employees were sitting at their desks without any customers, scrolling on their phones--one clearly on Facebook--yet we were told we could not be helped because we didn't have an appointment and would need to come back the next day. In a retail showroom. While staff were visibly doing nothing. This level of arrogance and indifference toward customers is astounding. We made an appointment and returned the next day. Made our purchase. The service didn't improve after the sale either. One of the faucets we purchased from Ferguson--around $500--turned out to be defective when our plumber installed it. Because of the timeline of the remodel, it had been about 90 days since the order. I reached out to Ferguson for help with the return or replacement and was completely ghosted after they said "we will reach out to manufacturer to see if there is anything that can be done'. No follow-up, no assistance, no accountability. If you read the other reviews online, this seems to be a pattern. Ferguson appears very eager to sell expensive products but far less interested in standing behind them when they sell a defective product. Ironically, you'll often get better customer service from Amazon and a chatbot - or even at Burger King -than you will from the people working in this showroom. I'm aware that Ferguson has acquired build.com and has consolidated the industry, but please understand consumers still have options. Our time is valuable and we had selected Ferguson for what we thought would be ease of order and attentive service with no regard for price whatsoever. We thought by paying more we would receive elite service. We were wrong. Bottom line: I wouldn't hire these people to pick up cigarette butts at my carnival

We had been planning our kitchen remodel for quite some time when we visited FERGUSON on Miles for…read morethe first time, yesterday. I was looking forward to it! The showroom is filled with impressive displays but that's about it. We walked every square inch and NOT ONE employee acknowledged us. NOT ONE. I spent more than a little while checking on the spec's and prices of the few things with such info available and I was genuinely shocked by the mark-ups I found. For example, I recognized a mid-level, single vanity, simply framed mirror that was nearly $1,000......This brand tops out at $600, if that, on such a small mirror. Additionally, most, if not every, kitchen display included a sagging shelf here or a badly mitered corner there. I have never experienced this anywhere else. It felt like a showroom for flippers. While indeed a beautiful, dreamy showroom, I found little in substance, or real-world value.

Jackleg work, simple fix, abjectly poor customer treatment…read more After buying thousands of dollars worth of Schonbek fixtures - a large center hall chandelier, two sconces, two ceiling domes, and two smaller bedroom chandeliers - from Cleveland Lighting, here is the response I got when I asked them to fix the problem shown in the attached pictures: "Unfortunately, we would have a service call fee of $95. As mentioned these are secured at the factory and I'm not sure how much of an adjustment can be made. I could have someone available this Thursday afternoon. Let me know if you wish to proceed." The sconce in the photos was installed improperly. It should have been repaired without hesitation without charge by the store. You can see from the photos the Cleveland Lighting rep's statement, "fixed at the factory," is an inaccurate cop out sent by someone who just did not give a crap. Asking for a service fee was inappropriate and indicative of the kind of people who run Cleveland Lighting. Find a different lighting store.

This is a store that cares nothing about customer service…read more Having owned a store myself and being very conscious of customer service, I am appalled at the customer service at Cleveland Lighting. After ordering thousands of dollars of lights over a year ago, we found ONE lighting fixture that fit our needs better for our dining room in an another store. So, we asked to return a BRAND NEW, UNOPENED fixture in the box for a refund. They insisted on a 25% restocking fee. This is outrageous. This is just a way for them to make more money on their lighting fixtures for doing absolutely nothing. They could care less about building any customer good will for any future lighting purchases. They obviously care more about making a buck than pleasing their customers. Yes, it was stated there would be a restocking fee but seriously? 25% ?? You spend thousands on fixtures and there is no room for an exception at times? You can be sure that I will make sure that anyone that asks me about purchasing lighting fixtures I will tell them of the poor customer service and will steer them to another store. One that actually cares about their customers.

This company does not care enough about their customers to ensure their packaging is correct must I have made at least three phone calls trying to resolve this issue just to have them incorrectly send me the wrong parts. All i needed were 2 pull chain extensions for my fan and they sent me this whole piece again with the missing chains. Value and frustration not worth the price of the fan. I would have avoided this company if i knew how careless they were.
