It was our first time here. A really nice place, and clean environment. We ordered the 1/2 chicken, roasted cauliflower and spicy hummus with pita bread. The food tastes great, especially the chicken was soft and juicy. The owner also brought us the special homemade hot sauce which goes very well with the chicken. Of course, if you can handle the heat. It does come with a kick The service was great too. The owner and waitress came to check on us several times just to ensure we are enjoying our lunch. Great spot for a health lunch alternative. Try it!

Hummus bowl with falafel and side of gluten-free pita

Overall, great place! I have celiac (strict gluten-free), and I'm vegetarian, and have a great time dining here each time! I have enjoyed their falafel pita, fries, hummus bowl with falafel, gluten-free pita bread, and ice cream. All of the food has been very satisfying, and I think their bowls are my favorite options. Each ingredient feels pretty fresh, and tasty. Interestingly, the gluten-free pita bread looks fluffier and tastier than the regular pita bread when served as a side. The fries are always crunchy and cooked to perfection, and difficult to stop eating. They have been trying out new ice cream flavors, and we tried one of their mediterranean-inspired flavors, which was incredible! For my dietary restrictions, they are pretty good about avoiding cross contamination and generally knowledgeable about gluten-free. However, I don't think every person there is familiar with celiac, so I tend to ask/request specifics regarding the preparation process. I will say that their dine-in experience food feels better than the take-out experience. I have had catering from this location multiple times, but definitely prefer eating here in person. It's also a bit on the pricier side for the casual restaurant, but if they had a better rewards program or slightly cheaper food, for add-ons and gluten-free substitutions, I would definitely come here even more often! Overall, definitely recommend checking this place out!

Had the Chicken Caesar Toum Wrap for the first time as they just recently debuted this item on to their menu. Probably the best Caesar Wrap I've ever had. Especially when you add a touch of garlic to it!!! Hope it stays on the menu!!!

This was our first time here. We will definitely be returning. The food is so fresh and delicious. We started with a large Mezze sampler. The labneh was so creamy and good. The tabbouleh was my favorite. I usually don't care for tabbouleh, but this one was so crisp and refreshing. You can tell there is no holding back with flavors. Next we got a Kabob sampler. Beef and chicken. Once again it was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. My partner had a chicken shawarma pita. It was such light pita bread and packed with chicken and french fries. The pita came with a side of roasted cauliflower. I had a half rice/half salad platter. The platter included rice cooked with lentils, tabbouleh, crispy cabbage, pickled turnips, and salad tossed with tahini sauce. We had a glass of Lebanese wine and rose water lemonade and mint lemonade. Everything was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend eating there. We ate until we could burst but nothing was heavy and you leave feeling like you ate good and healthy food. Plus we have plenty of leftovers for lunch for a couple of days.

Not only does Craft Pita have the best pitas in town, but their fries are some of the tastiest I've ever had. I've ordered from here for delivery, dined in, and introduced so many others to one of my favorite Houston restaurants. The service is always so friendly and quick, and there's seating both indoors and outdoors. Tip: join their loyalty program for great rewards!

Half Zataar Half Cheese Flatbread: Good, like a soft crust herb and cheese pizza lol

I loved the vibe of this place! It felt very clean and fresh from the moment you walk in. The bathrooms are nice, but very dim lol ordering was fast and food took about 7 minutes to come out. BEEF PITA: My bf got this and enjoyed it. The flavor was good, the meat was moist, and he said he would come back again for it. CHICKEN PITA: I got this without the roasted potatoes. Idk if all of the sauce comes with the potatoes, but the chicken was dry and it felt like there was no sauce at all. Pretty rough to get through the whole thing because of this. I didn't realize I could buy extra sauce until I was done, but it shouldn't have been as dry as it was when it's probably the most popular item on the menu. I was pretty disappointed, but now that I know I can get extra sauce if this happens again, I'd be willing to give it another shot if this was a fluke. HALF ZATAAR & HALF CHEESE FLATBREAD: This felt like a soft crust, half herb, half cheese pizza. Not really for me, but my bf loved it. My personal experience fell flat, but my bf had a great experience. I'll chalk up my experience to an off day because I really want to like this place. Hopefully the next visit goes better.

    Craft Pita for restaurant week

"Its too good Very fresh Sweetness right on spot" Its Houston Restaurant Week and we chose Craft Pita as our destination. It was well worth it. Its a complete 5 course meal including drink. For vegetarians like me, a couple items felt like repetition, like the pita was with the starter but also the main course, you could have substituted ut fir pita chips but that does not make much difference. What reaaallyy hit the spot was how fresh the ingredients were. Not to forget that the food came quickly, and the staff, they were super nice. Priced at $39, it has a starter, a salad, a main course, drink and dessert. Thats a pretty decent meal, but I did wonder if it would have made any big difference if I had ordered the same as ala carte, or, would it actually be cheaper ? Not sure, didn't do the math.... Food is eaten, the remaining packed and brought home, and bill paid, it does not matter now, and most importantly I enjoyed it. At the end of the meal felt fresh and satisfied. ( thumbs up ) Btw, a side of hummus is free if you Yelp check in and that comes with- u guessed it- Pita and u choose between the bread or the chips. Not many people seemed to dine in am not sure why though, in fact, we were the OnLY two people. There was but a constant count of bags flowing out of the kitchen for to-gos and uber eats and all those other apps. No kidding, the kitchen was so busy getting these orders ready and they were picked up in quick turns by the delivery guys or customers themselves. It was like clockwork. The patio has cute seating arrangement and its dog friendly too out there. I most definitely will come here again for the food - fresh, simple, tasty, served by a ever helpful friendly staff, who am sure must be thinking we are new to the city since we dined IN the restaurant:) ;) rather than take- away like literally everyone else !

    Rice Bowl, no protein
 Babaganoush
 Shawarma Fries

I visited Craft Pita off Fountain View and San Felipe today. What I got: 1. Babaganoush with pita bread 2. Shawarma Fries with extra garlic aioli 3. Rice Bowl no protein Each and everything I ordered was a 9/10. The Shawarma fries had pieces of crispy chicken skin, I was skeptical at first but once I tasted it, amazing! The cut-up chicken did not overwhelm the fries and the seasoning on the fries was scrumptious. Even though I will have the rice bowl for lunch, I did sneak a taste and let's just say I can't wait to have my lunch the next day. I chose the rice pilaf option with no protein. The babaganoush did not have garlic like I am used to but it was still good none the less. I used my pita bread to dip, my reason for the 9/10 is because I am used to fluffier pita bread, it was still delicious. I truly enjoy Mediterranean food; it just brings my palate a different taste of spices and seasons. If you order online, it is easier to customize your order. If you order online, you will get a notification, just walk straight to the back wall to pick up your food. You can also order in the store. Everything I ordered was about 34.00 bucks which was well worth it for the portions you get. If you in the area, give them a try! Happy Eating!!

The rice is so good for looking so plain. The meat (beef) was tender. The sauce is perfect for dipping and drizzling on evening. The pita was nothing to write home about, super dry and bland. Standout star were the French fries (and today is National French Fry Day). Very well seasoned! I'd say the prices are on the pricey end for a fast casual spot. You get a free hummus side with a Yelp check in that ofc I didn't see until I left, so I'll use it next time. This visit was a few days after Hurricane Beryl and the owner/manager was very nice and stopped by every table checking in on everyone and asking how they were and how their food tasted.

Happy Hour everyday? Count me in! After going to a Yelp event at the new Craft Pita in West University, decided to bring my staff to the original craft pita for a holiday happy hour celebration after work. Ordered so many delicious dishes. The spicy hummus packs some heat. Order some pita chips for dipping. So addictively delicious. The seasonal beet hummus is so good and so pretty. For salads, the tabbouli salad is so fresh and healthy. The Fattoush salad is literally one of my favorites. Greens, radishes, carrots, mint and cucumbers with pomegranate vinaigrette and topped with toasted pita chips. So light and so yummy. Sides, sides and more sides. The roasted potatoes are amazing! Lemon, paprika and cilantro with a drizzle of decadent garlic aioli sauce. Dip the crispy fries in that delicious aioli, too. The roasted cauliflower is another must to share. Do you love pita, chicken and quesadillas? Definitely get the pitadilla. The roasted chicken is so good, especially if you add a bit of the garlic aioli sauce. Add a manaeesh (Lebanese flatbread) to round out the menu. Get a za'ater, Lebanese cheese or half and half. Love the za'ater spices. Dip in the hummus. Delish! Thanks to Rafi and his amazing staff at Craft Pita, the OG. Such a perfect place for a holiday happy hour with my work family.

All 3 meals were really flavorful, good quality, really well-seasoned, very juicy and so delicious. The gyros and burger are without question imo the best in TX. Ekko's and Nick The Greek are 2nd n 3rd for Greek food for me. I always got the gyros sandwich as opposed to the plate before which is odd bc I always prefer meat plates over sandwich form in other foods like bbq, steak, etc. The meat pieces were all really tasty and had some slight char to them too. The taziki sauce is always cold, creamy in feel and refreshing with a good yogurt aroma to it. It's a great bonus and the gyros didn't even need it tbh. The tomatoes were nicely refreshing and the exotic, cool center dolma is always a little treat with meals here. The rice and chunky lemon potatoes with my meals were always mild but still great in texture and prep. As I said before; from my experiences in every single Greek cafe, if the taziki sauce is good, the gyros will be too. It's a solid symptom and indicator imo. As for the burger, very rarely are burger places only in TX actually any good for the past 15 years. So many are just average or below lacking seasoning or a great overall flavor. Niko Niko's, Goode Company Hamburgers and TX Hamburger Palace are my top 3 in that order for it. Each different too. The brioche buns were just the right thickness and very soft to make the beef patty stick out well. The patty was so nice in charbroiled taste, saltiness, richness, beefiness and tender in every bite. A good burger doesn't need much in toppings, but cool, refreshing, tomatoes are a must for me and pickles add some tangy crunch too. For steak rare, but for a burger medium to medium rare. I had never seen or heard of their Greek Spaghetti n Meat Sauce before. This was like a Greek Bolognese with a lot of love in its flavor. The noodles were drained, very moist and so soft. I don't like too much cheese, so I took some off, but still like some. The meat sauce gravy itself was really flavorful, savory, fatty enough and had that subtle sweet, warm spice aroma you get in the Greek lasagna. I like to get dessert here sometimes when I have extra room, bc they have some great options like their galaktobourreko, chocolate ganache cake, etc. The service was very welcoming, friendly and efficient on these visits.

The place is new but not recently new, so I was impress that they were still attracting a crowd. The place was packed and busy but the host was still able to seat us immediately. With reservation, of course. Our seat was a banquet seating and when the host directed us to our table, we notice the party seated next to our table had placed all their personal belongings on our seats. We had to ask the host to ask them to remove their personals so that we can sit down. I felt that the host should have done that and not upon our request. Our server was Keamogetswe and she jumped right into explaining the menu since it was our first time. I am used to ordering drinks first and while waiting for our drinks, explore the food menu. That way, we can ask questions about any item we were unfamiliar with on the menu. Anyways, we ordered our food and they came out very fast. For starters, we had the grilled shrimp which was just two shrimps. They were not prawns so the size of the two shrimps for $18 was not worth it to me. We also tried the Rumi's wings. They were average to me. Nothing to brag about. For the main course, we wanted to try several dishes and settle for a family style meal. We had the braised lamb shank, chicken kabob and the Koobideh Kabob. Since all plates came with rice, Keamogetswe suggest we try different rice options which was a great suggestion. So for the rice, we had the Adas, the Baghali and the Shirin. I have to admit that the braised lamb was amazing. The stew it sat in was very flavorful and the meat melted off the bone it came with. The Koobideh was also another favorite of mine. Both, I highly recommend everyone to try. And my favorite rice was the Shirin. As we moved on to dessert, we had the burnt honey & pistachio cake and the persian ice cream sandwich. Both taste great but the persian ice cream sandwich itself was vanilla wafer. Different but it made it easier to eat with your fingers. The weird thing was when the dessert was served to us, so was the check. I am used to us eating dessert or just starting to enjoy dessert before being handed the check. And when they do hand me the check, they would mention that it was no rush and when I am ready to take care of it. But that didn't happen and I decided to get it out of the way so I can just enjoy the dessert. As we were conversing and finishing our drinks, they started to clear our table and even picked up the signed check or tab. It felt like they were hinting us to get up. I feel that if there was a time frame to dine with them, they should have made us aware of it before dinner or when we made reservation like how Toca Madera does. So that made me feel uncomfortable. But this could just be me.

The waitress poured us some water while we waited which was so thoughtful. You couldn't ask for better service. It's obvious they are happy to have you dine with them as evidenced by their warm welcome and hospitality. We had chicken pide which is one of my favorite things to eat. The ingredients tasted fresh and we enjoyed them very much. Thank you to Pasha's owner(s) and staff for a great meal and excellent service!

Only one other table was occupied, and someone who seemed to be the owner warmly greeted my group of 5 with some menus and an offer for Turkish coffee and tea. The lunch special is quite generous, and includes a wide array of starters and entrees. With 5 people, we tried 5 different appetizers and 5 different entrees and got a good sampling of their menu. The chicken shish kebab, falafel, lamb kebab, and menemen were all well seasoned and paired nicely with the many dishes of rice, salad, and flatbread they all came with. The lentil soup was also delicious. I was with my parents, who really only have a desire to eat East and Southeast Asian food, but they still enjoyed our meal here, which is saying a lot.
