Super cute nano brewery that just happens to be located in the oldest building in Phelps. They offer a wide selection of beverages, ciders, seltzers, wine slushies and small batch craft beers. They had an interesting beer on tap a krout ... beer that is the flavor of sauerkraut... it was different. I went with their FLIPA an hazy east coast beer at 6%. Very tasty. They offer a broomstick pour, have a pint and $4. It's cool how they have a theme with witches and I'm sure Halloween is a lot of spooktacular fun here. read more

Interesting little place with some eclectic flavor, beers. For example, Kraut Gose. Smells like sauerkraut, has an interesting taste, but not something I can drink a full pint of. Good thing they sell what's called a "broomstick "poor. That's four dollars for a half a pint. Service was good. They have a back patio. Very friendly people. Bought a shirt for my sister but it's too small have to go back and return it but so not have a receipt hope it won't be a problem. Very crafty woodworking gentleman does all the tasting boards. Beer is good, nice tasting room. Part of the thinknydrinkny craftbeer stamping. read more

I wanted so much to love this place! It had a great theme. I love witches! I would definitely give this place a 5 if it were just about theme. Their beer was just okay. Menu was definitely difficult to read. They had beer names based on theme, but no idea what type of beer they were. The one beer I thought was pretty good was the raspberry creme ale. Years ago this place made me realize I do love beer! I always have a hard time figuring out which beer to start with there are so many favorites. Many of the beers use local ingredients harvested by locals who drink at this cozy place. You feel welcomed when your here. I never leave disappointed and always wish I could support this place more! We were so surprised, nay delighted, by this little brewery. We had a bit of time before we could check in to our hotel, so we got here right at opening. There were already a bunch of locals here (lucky buggers get to come here all the time!), and a very nice gentleman moved down a spot so my husband and I could belly up to the bar. We each tried a flight of all the beers they had to offer, which was quite a few, considering they are still quite a small business! The decor was witchy and fun, and we got the background on the name, logo, and theme from the owner. (If you want to know you'll just have to come out this way yourself.) We staggered out with a growler of their chocolate cherry porter at the end. We will definitely be back on our next trip! read more

What a great addition to local breweries of the finger lakes! The location may be hard to find at first but it is located across from the rear entrance of the Phelps Hotel. The site is small but looks like there will definitely be some expanding at some point. They had four beers on tap, my preference was the Cream Ale. I was told that by next month they will have four NEW beers on tap, including an October Fest! Tasting is very reasonable as are growler prices. Definitely worth a good visit if you're driving through the area! read more

My girlfriend and I were staying in Phelps at a bed-and-breakfast and we noticed that there was a brewery in the neighborhood. It was March 17 and the town was partying it up. From the moment we walked in we were made welcome, the owner Mike took time to speak with me about his beer and about the beer business I really appreciated that. Although we did not sample many beers sue to time constraints, the two beers did drink were fantastic, we will definitely be back when we are in the area. One beer was called Lucky Charm Irish Red and the other was Mystic Mild. Mike has some great beers so don't hesitate to stop in for some suds. Crafty's is the nice secret In a small town that doesn't have a lot in it. Easy going environment and has live music some nights and has an outdoor area in the back to play cornhole in the summer time. Really good beer as well. More variety than just IPAs. It's refreshing to have more than just some generic ipa because it's popular. They rotate the specialty brews often so there is usually something new to try. I would highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys craft brewing. read more

Wonderful beers (with a bargain-priced "sample flight" if you're not sure what you want), served with a smile by friendly owners who are happy to tell you all about how each beer is made (including which farm, on which local road, certain ingredients came from!). Love this place! It's witch-themed, which is awesome. But they back that up with great beer. I loved most of the ones I tried (not an IPA fan, but my friends who are really liked them!). The Fire Whistle Wheat and Breakfast Maple were my favorites. They offer a variety of options- pints, growlers, and half-growlers. But my favorite was that they offered tastings of as many beers on tap as you want, for only $1 per tasting. Gives you the chance to try everything and see what you like best! They also offer a "broomstick pour" which is a half-pint (filled to the broomstick in the logo on their glasses). Another cool thing is the "spell caster" and "target" boards- people can "cast a spell" and prepay for a drink for a friend (the target) for the next time they come in. Such a great idea! The staff were super friendly and gave my husband a free pint for his birthday. We will definitely be back! read more
