Just left from crafty crab like around 11:50 and I will never go here again. I went around 11:00 and was told to sit at the bar fine. When I was at the bar was told that I had 10 minutes to put my order in so I did within the 10 minutes. Was sitting there having wings and then all of a sudden was told that they wasn't making no more food. I wasted 25 minutes sitting there and thinking I was going to have food send to me and got nothing, and on top of that went to the supervisor only for them to tell me I'm sorry nothing else but I'm sorry. I don't ever usually order King Crab Legs but I figured I'd give it a try since I seen they had a "special". I legit received 1 leg and for 43.99 that's very expensive for just 1 leg. I was expecting at least 3. And the website did not specify how much you would be getting so that's a little misleading to me. I also ordered the crab combo special, it was decent. A disservice to the community. Service very poor. As we (line dancers) patron them on Wednesday nights for Randy Dennis' line dance extravaganza, this establishment decided to start charging us $10 to participate. Not sure the reasoning, I would like to hear it from mgmt. As a public restaurant and a community outlet during difficult times, this injustice is terrible. I been to this restaurant before but, this is my 1st review. I was here for Line Dance class to meet up with a few friends. I was sitting at the bar and waited to be serviced as it was 1 maybe 2 bartenders that were working. I was finally able to place my order. The food for some reason took so long to come out. The other bartender was cleaning up around the bar area and attempted to throw a glass bottle into the trash however, it hit the rim of trash can and glass was flying everywhere. Luckily, it did not hit us at the bar but, that was totally unacceptable. Everyone at the bar area shouted that almost hit us with disbelief. I exited the restaurant shortly after. read more

I came here last year and had my first seafood boil! The shrimp, potatoes and corn were absolutely fantastic. Wow!! The sauce was so delicious, I could not stop wanting to smack my fingers. I came here in the middle of the day and the person I was with ordered crabs that we shared but they were really small. Our waitress was well meaning, but she forgot our bibs, gloves and bucket. Overall, it was alright. If I were to go again, I would focus on just the shrimp and other ingredients and not get their crabs. read more

I've been going to this Crafty Crab since it opened. I've never had a complaint. Tonight I ordered two Shrimp boxes, one with Fries, the other with Onion Rings. My treat. A Girlfriend picked it up. She started eating her food in the car bcuz she had to bring mine to me. She said my fries were soggy, and the shrimp were just okay. Instantly, I got upset bcuz I treated you, and now you're talking about the food? I felt that way until I got mine. Once she dropped it off, I looked at the plastic container with no ventilation, my food was damp from the condensation, Onion Rings soggy, and the shrimp that were normally crispy were slighted, not as crispy as they usually are. Normally, I get my food in a card board box, with holes and parchment paper to absorb some of the grease. I called to speak to a Manager and told her of my concern, and she asked me to bring the food back up there. I asked if she was serious. It was raining "cats and dogs" which was why I treated my friend and had her pick it up. I was speaking to a " "Charney" who told me that they had recently switched to the plastic boxes and there was ventilation holes. There is not and you will see in the picture as you can also see the moisture on the inside of the box. This Crafty Crab is manned by a bunch of youngsters who know nothing about customer service. With NOT JUST CRAB being up the street, and manned by a younger staff, they are way more PROFESSIONAL. Because of Charney's lack of professionalism, I've always chosen Crafty Crab over Not Just Crab. Not anymore. I will now go to Not just Crabs or Wings and Things further up the road. I hope it was worth it. I was so upset, I wrote a review and posted pictures. The location is very convenient.. There is plenty of parking and it's highly lit. I have visited this location several times and have enjoyed myself for the most part. I thoroughly enjoy the bar staff.. Although it was packed, they worked that bar like nobodies business.. The floor service was a bit slow, but again, they were packed.. Terrible service here for a dinner party I had on Saturday October 15th. this place is so unorganized and staff sucks. they didn't have any music which was very weird. They only gave me one waiter for a dinner party of over 20 people. we waited over 2 hours for food then the bill was a nightmare because the waitress didn't write down names of people with what they ordered or at least keep orders separately around the table. no compensation to make up for any of this horrible service. Never having been there, we called on Feb. 22nd to try to figure out what our options were. My husband started ordering then asked a couple questions. He got nothing but attitude. To explain, the lady on the phone was sucking her teeth, sighing loud, and answering in a short irritated tone. Not just once, this was repeated to the point where my husband who has the patience of a saint put it on speaker so we could hear. No one could believe how rude the person was. Rule number one - your customers make or break your business so treat them well. Nothing worse than a business whose employees act as if they are doing us a favor by allowing us to purchase their products. News flash - we are doing you a favor by patronizing your business with our money. I can't speak to the quality of the food because my husband finally had enough abuse and hung up. There is nothing anyone could say that would make me try again - the service was just that bad. Instead we went to Not Just Crab and had great food and amazing service! I ordered food over the phone for pickup all as one order and when I went to pick it up, they only had half of my Order and told me that they threw the other half away. Their reasons for this was because I did not pick up when they called me only one time. When I asked the manager the reasoning behind throwing half of my order in the trash she said it was because the cash register girl was new and there was nothing she could do about half of my order being missing and that is just ridiculous. Went Here on a Saturday night around 9pm. They say people 6 ft or more away. It also was not crowded. So that was great as well. Our food took a bit long to come but the waiter was awesome! She gave us a pound of shrimp on the house because of the wait. She also frequently checked on us making sure we where good. Frequently checked our beverages and gave refills. We never had to ask for anything she always came up and checked before hand. Great customer service. I would come back again! read more

Very bad customer service from the women at the front of the restaurant. Doordash orders are commonly unavailable for pickup and require long waits when they have been verified as ready . This location does have a good indoor setting . Originally I had a lower rating on this location, but I have been reached out to by the location and feel much more comfortable recommending. The Crafty Crab just opened in Baltimore, They don't have their liquor license yet, which is not a big deal to me... But You'd Need To Be 3 Sheets To The Wind To Enjoy The Food In This Place. We asked to be moved and it seemed like an inconvenience, but we didn't get a larger table. The server was very nice, And seemed to know his menu. I asked for Iced Tea then he said we didn't serve ICED TEA. What kind of restaurant doesn't serve iced tea??? They had a lot of shrimp, crab, and muscle type boiling bags to choose from. The snow crabs were very small, not very much meat inside, the shrimps were pretty good size, but everything we ordered was like it was juat a SALT-LICK, Had to wash it down with a Dr Pepper. "NO Iced Tea" ya know... The Oysters on the half were very bland, had a muddy flavor. I don't know where they got them from. They also would not substitute the potato for rice.
