The owners, Kenneth and Graham make you feel welcome at anytime and at home. They have always, a courteous, smiley, positive helpful and professional attitude. Breakfast consisted of quality produce just as we wanted, in an attractively decorated breakfast room. When we asked our hosts for information on things to do and see they were very forthcoming and we were grateful for their local knowledge and advice. The Ness Guest House is in a quiet area, close to the town centre, a few minutes walk to the riverside, yet surprisingly speedily accessible off the A9 with off-road parking, lovely house and excellent hosts. I have no hesitation in recommending The Ness Guest House to those looking for a warmly memorable stay in Inverness.

Teresa is so nice and a great cook! Her home cooked breakfast was amazing and was very helpful in giving us trip tips for the rest of our Scotland trip. A new conservatory was added that serves as the breakfast room. The views over their gardens and the Highland Perthshire are astounding. But the most amazing aspect is the welcome we received. Louise and Struan clearly love being innkeepers and are exceptionally good at it. A cup of tea and shortbreads were immediately offered. Advice on what to visit and where to eat was comprehensive, along with maps and other aids. They seem to always have time to stop and chat and move on to handle the next task without giving you the feeling that you've been dumped. But the breakfasts! Oh my, the breakfasts! Scrambled eggs with haggis. Porridge with cream and a wee dram of Scotch. Fresh local ingredients, their own home-smoked salmon, smoothie starters with fresh fruit and a bit of porridge as a thickener. Everything was absolutely delightful. To top it off, they have a liquor license and sell two kinds of local beers and 32 different single malts. Although ranked number two in Pitlochry on Trip Advisor, there is nothing second place about this B&B. Highly recommended.

The breakfast wasn't your usual coffee, juice and toast, but all of that plus 5 different cereals, milk and yogurt, and eggs, bacon, sausage, with beans and all cooked to your liking. If we ever make it back to this part of the UK, we will definitely stay here again.
