As I later found out there were other treatments for the gingivitis that involved inexpensive home care. They did not inform me of alternate treatments. This is not only more professional negligence but borderline criminal. They push unnecessary tests and use to their own advantage and benefit the lack of knowledge that pet owners have, to put money in their pocket. I called this vet…read moreFriday and inquired about scheduling one of my dogs for Rabies shots (I literally had no idea where I would be until a week and a half ago-contract work). She fit me in Friday at 4pm. When I arrived Friday I was relieved to see the vet wearing a mask (COVID) and also limiting numbers of customers inside the building. She treated my little Maltese mix like the precious family member she is. My girl didn't even flinch for her shots because the vet was so soothing, and, vet deciphered the records I brought to make sure she was up to date on distemper, too. The vet is personable, efficient, and was working solo that Friday afternoon, with AWESOME customer service skills juggling the phone, people arriving at the office and arranging for a sick horse to have higher level of care out of town. I'm VERY impressed! I will take the other two dogs here in a heartbeat if they need vet care for anything! Price was reasonable, too.

I parked in front of an empty retail spot for 1 hour. There is a sign that says 30-minute parking. I missed that when I initially parked. The employee took it upon herself to place a notification sticker with duck tape on my windshield where I can't see to drive. She then wrote, "Yoga is for an hour". I asked her why she had to place it there and use duct tape. She said, "It was raining, so I wanted to make sure it stuck." It stuck alright, and I had 30-plus minutes removing it so I could drive. I told her that she was being unprofessional, and she came outside to take a picture of my car and tell me I was unprofessional. This occurred during a spring break in a steamboat, and the parking lot was empty. This incident has left a lasting impression on me, and I can assure you that I will never park in front of your establishment again. Furthermore, I am now hesitant to trust your staff with my pet after witnessing such unnecessary behavior. This incident has not only affected my perception of your establishment but also my willingness to continue patronizing it. I've had to manage situations for parking violations throughout my career. I would never think to write a personal message, use duct tape, and place the notice to endanger the driver to move the vehicle. Placing a notification on the driver-side window would have been sufficient. She went out of her way to go above and beyond to make her point, which was unnerving. I had to ask a neighbor business for a razor and spent over 30 minutes removing the sticker. This made me late for my work. I will not park in front of that establishment again and hope they can do better when faced with a decision in the future. If this is any indication of how they treat people outside of their business, then I would think twice before having them make decisions of caring for my pet.

I've been to this clinic twice and wanted to share my experience as it is a bit of a different vet…read morethan I've seen elsewhere.  The exam and sessions are held in a communal space when you enter the clinic. It's an interesting approach, and one that my dog didn't take well to. The doctor has her dogs in the clinic which is cool, but not great if your dog is anxious around other dogs. She will put them in a different room, however, to conduct the exam of your pet. I found it a bit strange that given the anxiety of my dog she didn't offer a private exam room to make her feel more comfortable. I asked a bunch of questions on my first visit about her teeth, and found it a bit odd she never looked in her mouth.  Strike one. Fast forward to my 2nd visit where I went to get a rabies shot. I was told when I arrived that she meant to call to tell me my dog didn't need a rabies shot for another few years. Would have been really nice to know this before I drove 25 min into town for the visit.  Strike two. I proceeded to ask a bunch of questions about her itchy ears and teeth. She answered them, but I didn't feel any deep level of knowledge was given - "it could be allergies to her food, or something else" - is what I was told. I asked about her teeth and proper care (we brush her teeth every night). The vet gave me a product to sprinkle on her food to help with tartar control. Beyond those suggestions, that was it. I paid my bill and left. When I got home I saw I was charged for a "partial exam" which was odd to me because she never touched my dog. When I inquired about this, I was told the charge was for her "time to speak with me." I was irritated b/c I had a genuine concern about my dog's ears, and when I called them they told me I could swab her ears and drop it off for the vet to run a test. Ummmmm, ok - why didn't you do this when I was in the clinic earlier?! Why should I have to swab the ears when they are the "professionals?" When I pushed harder about my frustration, I received a pretty nasty voice message from the vet. Really unprofessional. Strike three. I've conceded to pay the charge, but will not be coming back to this clinic. I don't feel this doctor gives the proper time to the animal to really understand what is going on. When pushed about frustrations around the care of my pet, she treated me in an unprofessional manner.

They took us in with 45 minutes notice to make sure that she checked out and got her the appropriate sedatives in order for us to get home on a plane after all of the trauma we had been through. They were so nice and welcoming and the staff was absolutely as sweet as pie. As we said our goodbyes I said to them thank you and I hope I never have to see you again. But if I lived in the area they would be my first choice for veterinary services! Update! They called me a few days after they saw us- just to check in. How sweet!!!!? Love them.

Red Hill nearly killed my cat…read more The "care" at this facility sent my loved 13 year old cat to the V.R.C.C. Emergency Hospital, starving, malnourished, dehydrated, and hanging on by a thread. Here are the facts: - Red Hill never read my cats previous medical records. - They repeatedly dismissed our urgency to diagnose and treat our cat. - They took an entire month to run basic tests (I.e. bloodwork, fecal analysis, etc.) - They placed him on a strict diet for 8 weeks which HE WAS NOT EATING and ignored his severe weight loss. (He has always been healthy at around 10-11 lbs and was 7.95 when we got to the V.R.C.C. in Englewood.) And finally, - They claimed that "the lack of doing anything to help our cat is not negligence." I would recommend to anyone considering this facility or currently being seen at this facility, to run as fast and far away as humanly possible. This place is a disgrace to veterinary care, and it is astonishing that they are still allowed to practice medicine of any kind. 1 star was an obligation as a review cannot be posted without a rating. I also want to add that I have nothing to gain personally from posting this review. My only goal is to share our terrifying experience, so hopefully nobody else EVER has to endure what we did.

I was in quite the panic. She shared our options that we could come in now or could get in first thing at 8 am. Since my pup was stable I brought him in at 8 am. The front desk team was so kind and got him in immediately. They were busy with their regular patients and knew them all by first name. Dr. Chris was the kindest and really showed authentic concern for my dog. I hands down wish this vet was closer to home. Incredible care and love for your pet.
