DO NOT USE CRAIGS CARPET CLEANING. They work on THEIR time and show up whenever it is convenient for them. They also do not clean out their water source before use. My upholstery dried smelling of mildew. Had to throw out and get new couches. Gave them plenty of opportunities to fix and they blew me off with no refund. Their excuse for not giving a refund is they did not have the money to return. read more

Can I rate this company below zero? I made an appointment with them three weeks before my moving date. Got a call one week before the appointment date, said they lost all their appointment schedules. So I rescheduled the time with them and they promised to be there on time. I called them a hour before the appt. time, no pickup the phone, left several VMs. Then till the night, they called back, and said they're busy and rescheduled me for next day first thing in the morning. Of cause, no one showed up next day. Called the owner, he promised he will take care of me on that day, he told me it will be properly around 3pm. Called at 3, and no one picked up the phone, and not return my calls till night. This is the worst company I ever experienced. Don't waste your time and money. read more

This was the worst company I have ever dealt with. I bought a Groupon to help assist in the cost of having my carpets cleaned on November 12, 2013. I made an appointment and they never showed up and never called. I called and made another appointment and was assured on three separate occasions (including the day I am writing this review) that they would be at my house to clean the carpets and no one ever showed. I was assured by the owner and his wife they would make things right and they never showed. I have asked for my money back from Groupon and reported this company to the Birmingham Better Business Bureau. read more

I have given one star because zero was not an option. I have never written a Yelp review before, but I have decided to do so now in hopes to prevent someone else from going through what I did. I found this company through Groupon and decided to give a local small business a chance. From the first interaction, I should have cancelled. They called 30 minutes prior to original appointment and cancelled claiming the equipment broke down. They finally arrived days later and after looking at the dirty rusty equipment, again I should have cancelled. They zipped through my new home, (it was built less than a year ago) and were gone. After the soaked and I mean drenched carpet finally dried, there were huge dirty spots left behind and a smell that I can only describe as the smell a dish rag has after being left on the counter too long. I called to let them know and they hesitantly came back out. Instead of recleaning the carpet to get rid of the odor, the tech sprayed a spray promising that it was sure to work. I told him before he left, that it in fact did not fix the odor, but he left anyway. As far as the dirt spots... again as soon as the soaked carpet dried days later... spots reappeared. So they did a terrible job with carpet cleaning and if you can imagine, it gets worse. The old equipment that they used scratched nearly every baseboard in my new home. Long deep scratches everywhere! I sent photos and was called back by the owner/manager and was told that even though he was already losing money on me that he would personally come out and fix them once we got the paint. For some reason, I scheduled this. I received a message on the day of the appointment to fix the base boards that said he would be out that day between 3-6. However, he never showed up. Which has brought me to this point. On top of all of this, still the worst of it hasn't been typed yet. After the second carpet cleaning, I received a text message from one of the tech's that stated the following... "What are you wearing?" That question was followed by two googley eyed emojis sent to my cell at 11:33pm. So now imagine the discomfort and creepy feeling that I have since this stranger has the directions to my home and has actually been in my home and has now sent a sexually harassing text messages!!! The owner/manager acted like this was no big deal and down played the situation. Please take my advice and do not use this company. read more

If you are looking for a thorough cleaning of your carpets, do NOT use this company. They use very outdated equipment that does not deep clean your carpets. I honestly could not tell that my carpets had even been touched. They also had agreed to a certain price to clean my entire house, only to find out after they finished that the bill was $30 higher than quoted. read more

I agree with the last review! They were late showing up to the appointment by 2 hours! They left residue all over my carpet that is now attracting more dirt. I have contacted groupon and the company several times since to get them to come back out and redo the carpets. They will call me back and go as far as telling me what time they will come out... I then make special arrangements to be home and they never show up and they never call! This game has been going on for over a month! If they are too busy to come out and make good on actually cleaning my carpets then it will be my mission to make sure that they're business slows down! If I could give this company zero stars I would. They showed up a day and a half late!!! They didn't get done with the carpets until after 9:00 at night making me behind on other things. They were supposed to be there at 4 and didn't show up til' 7. Carpet was still wet the next day and stains were still present. BUYER BEWARE! This is my first review ever written on a company and since I've recently relied on candid reviews to help me in my decisions, I decided to pass it forward. This obviously small company handles business in the most formidable ways. The owner himself after swearing to oh-so-many years of experience single handedly ruined my carpet after treatment. I hired the cleaning crew for a simple touch up on practically new carpet when I discovered that areas that had minor traffic turned purple after he treated the floor. It was obvious that there was a chemical reaction from the products which I was more than willing to work with him to try to resolve providing he take full responsibility for his action. Well he didn't and was unprofessional too calling me names. When asked calmly to rectify the situation he suggested to cut up the stained patches or I hire his buddy to bleach and stain it after he was the one to cause the issue. After several missed follow up appointments, broken commitments he finally disappeared and what was an affordable groupon deal turned into a $1500 replacement job now of which I'm having to seek legal representation to resolve. Save yourself the headache and pay a little extra for premium service that you can count on. read more
