Once I went in to buy parts I'd gotten a quote on, of $130. And I caught a Culligan service guy. I had my quote in hand, but he didn't care. He quoted me over $700. I said that can't be right. He said that was for installation, but it was just a simple filter. He was very stern and unfriendly, and "strongly recommended" that I not try to do it myself. He wouldn't sell me the parts! The parts guy had even told me that he'd put the pipe stubs on to match what I had, which he did when I went back another day. So it seems plain: Parts & customer service GOOD!
