I have used osteopaths and chiropractors many times before and was happy with the results. However, Suzanne is fantastic. . I have been going to her for about 5 weeks now, (following 2 brain surgeries) and her treatments have been very effective and beneficial from the start. She is extremely gentle (no extreme manipulation and cracking of joints and limbs) but somehow intense, working on your systems at deep level. She works at a completely different level than anyone I have used before. Eu usei osteopatas e quiropráticos muitas vezes antes e fiquei feliz com os resultados. No entanto, Suzanne é fantástica. . Eu fui até ela há cerca de 5 semanas, (seguindo 2 cirurgias do cérebro) e seus tratamentos foram muito eficazes e benéficos desde o início. Ela é extremamente gentil (sem manipulação extrema e rachaduras de articulações e membros), mas de alguma forma intensa, trabalhando em seus sistemas em nível profundo. Established in 2013.

As a craniosacral therapist, I worked in Belgium and Czech Republic. I decided to widen my horizon and went to Nepal where I volunteered to give treatment in a shelter for women, in an orphanage, in circus Kathmandu, and to the local expats community. After this experience, I settled down in Portugal and started working in Cascais and Lisbon.

I have always been interested in well-being and health and a study in this field was a natural choice for me. I enjoy working in cooperation with the patient to find health again and regain life quality. While I am no longer practicing as an osteopath, I specialized in craniosacral therapy and visceral manipulation. I started to follow formation in Somatic Experiencing and my treatments are trauma-informed. In 2023 I will graduate in Herbal Medicine, practicing with both western and Chinese herbs/formulas, and including nutritional advice.

I arrived in Lisbon with a stomach virus after being in Morocco for a week. Looked online for…read morehospitals and decided to go to Sao Jose because it is a university hospital. Overall, I felt like the care I got there was very good. They did bloodwork, x-rays and put in an IV and hydrated me with saline. Everyone was very nice and very professional. I have a few tips: the only part that was really chaotic was figuring out how to register; you take a number but you also have to fill out a form. so if you go here and they call your number, ask them if you need to fill out a form. We ended up waiting for about four hours for them to call my name or the number I had and then I was informed that they wouldn't call it unless I had filled out the form, but no one had told me that. But I want to reiterate that once I got seen by a doctor and triaged, I felt like the care was very professional and good. One other tip: there is no water fountain here. And the machines that sell bottled water do not take credit cards so make sure you have coin in euros so you can buy water during your wait. Please note that this is a busy public city hospital.
