They have an interesting menu with a lot of different options from all beef dogs to sausage to pulled pork. The staff were friendly and helpful with menu. I ordered the buckeye dog which a brat with cheese, apple wood bacon, pickled onions, and mustard. They dog was very good along with the hand cut fries, fries reminded me of being at a fair. My friend had the wild and wonderful and really enjoys it. Plus they have Cherry Coke so that is always a plus. Sometimes when I drive by I'd say, "We need to stop by and check this place out." Well today we did and regret not stopping earlier. My son ordered the Buckeye Dog which is a brat with cheese, bacon, mustard and onion. He said it was delicious. I ordered a turkey hot dog with grilled onions and peppers. Really good. The fries are homemade. We were not crazy about the fries. We would not order them again. We split a piece of homemade peanut butter pie. It was delicious. You order at the counter and they bring your food to your table. Service was great. They checked to make sure we were satisfied with our food too. THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!! Family of 7 here, stopped during a road trip. The outside is very misleading, it doesn't look like much but the food was great and the service was outstanding. Plenty of options to choose from and the Parmesan ranch is amazing! The hotdogs are big and overflowing with toppings :) The sandwiches were also very tasty! The kids liked it and the adults left very full. The people who run the place are SUPER sweet and provided exceptional service. If these guys were in Minnesota, we would make this a weekly spot. This is a family owned local business. We stopped on our way home to Dayton from Hocking Hills. The owner is a Jersey girl like me and she obviously loves her business. It was very good. I had the Fiesta Dog, the special, and my boyfriend had the Buckeye Dog. Fiesta Dog: They added crushed up corn chips, I believe Fritos, and it added that something extra. Buckeye Dog: He said he never had mustard on bacon, but he loved it. He also said the pickled onions gave it a great added flavor. The fries were fresh cut, the type you can put malt vinegar on. yum You can substitute any meat for any gourmet dog. 5 different types of meet. Order at the counter, they will bring you the food wherever you sit, and they will clean up the trash. I believe we met the owners, they were EXTREMELY nice. If I could give it more than five stars I would! My husband and I stopped in here and couldn't believe the huge variety of amazing hotdogs! It took forever to decide because they all seemed so delicious. I ended up with a New York dog and my husband had the Jersey dog. We had hand cut fries and house made potato chips. Both were absolutely out of this world! The fries like boardwalk fries and they even had malt vinegar to put on them! In addition to the wonderful food, you couldn't ask for a better staff. They were so attentive and worked hard to make sure everything was wonderful. I'm a vegetarian and they have vegetarian dogs which is a rarity. Friendly knowledgeable staff, and a VERY unique menu. If you can't find a hot dog or sandwich to fit your craving....well, I just don't know what to tell you. I had the Mac Dog, topped with Mac & Cheese, hot sauce and Fritos. Truly a unique combination. It was delicious!! Second, I went with the Jersey Dog, which is an Italian sausage, topped with sauce, peppers, onions, and mozzarella, then broiled to melt it all together. Talk about a flavor explosion! WOW!!! Their fries are delicious. Fresh cut, and lightly seasoned. Definitely worth a stop by if you are in the area. The reason for the loss of a star was the length of time it took to get my food. They were not very busy, and it still took over 20 mins to get my food. The location is good for travelers, off of US 23, parking adequate, but not good for trailers if any kind. Inside is very clean and modern, they also have outdoor seating for the summer. As far as menu, its burgers, hotdogs and ice cream, an that isn't a bad thing. I had the Chicago dog, it was ok, the bun was cold, (not room temp) the toppings were similar to a Chicago dog, but didn't meet the mark. The beef dogs are of good quality though. The wifey had the Chillicothe dog, it was pretty good, their coney sauce is house made and palatable. They do have many choices for various dogs. I may stop in again for a beer and a dog. Fantastic!! My family and I were just visiting for the weekend and are all so glad that we found Crazy Dogs Grill. My two nephews (6&11) easily found something to eat and ate their entire meals without complaint. (That is rare) We sat outside on the patio. Initially we had asked if it would be okay to move one of the tables into the shade but they sent someone out immediately to put up an umbrella. This was our first time visiting this restaurant. It was actually quite a surprise. The interior is fairly basic but very clean. They have a very extensive menu which I found surprising. Anyone can find something on the menu that they would want. I had the ER sandwich and my wife had The Chillicothe hotdog. Both of them were very good. Their macaroni and cheese is outstanding as well. We will certainly be back and try other things on the menu. Maybe even this time we will have some room for some dessert.
