I walked into their office with my elderly mother to ask a question regarding their services. The women sitting in the receptionist chair could not have been ruder. I made it clear we didn't have an appointment but wanted to make one. She stated "I don't have an opening for months". She acted like we were trying to steal something. My mother was trying to explain she had a problem with an implant. Her response was "Any dentist can take care of an implant". My recommendation is just that...any dentist but this one. read more

I had been going to Dr Craig Creasy for many years and I really use to love him but something strange is going on in that office. I have always been a self paying patient always paying cash. I recently set up an appointment because I wanted my teeth cleaned and since my upper teeth look fine and do not need cleaning as much as the bottom, I expressed I wanted to start by cleaning my lower teeth. The hygenist started treating me like a child and told me she could not clean my lower teeth because they were the teeth that were last done last and therefore they need to clean my upper teeth. I said, That is not what I want. I need and prefer the lower teeth cleaned again. It's my body, my mouth and I know what I need. She continued to argue with me and treat me terribly trying to intimidate me and interrogating me about when I last had my upper teeth cleaned. I take very good care of my teeth and even own dental equipment of my own as I use to train as a hygenist. I was told I would be able to see the Dr when I came in for the visit. I even saw him through the window doing some paper work when I came in from the back. I asked the hygenist if I could speak to him. She disappeared for quite some time (wasting my time) and came back and told me I had to leave. I had gotten up very early and had driven a half hr to get to their office to arrive at 8 am. When she told me to leave I was shocked. I told her, ok then, go ahead and do my top teeth then if you must or take some X-rays but please do not make this a wasted trip for me. I would like something done. Let's get the ball rolling, I am here. She still Insisted I leave. I got up and went to the receptionist area and Told her I felt I was being punished for speaking out about what I wanted done and I was not going to be gouged because of some rediculous rule of having to clean perfectly good teeth instead of the teeth that need cleaned the most. The receptionist made up some enormous tale about the girl that set up my appointment setting it up wrong and that her house had burnt down. Ok. What does that have to do with cleaning my teeth...and to be frank, this is not the first time I've heard incompetent stories about the fault of the receptionist. Once I came in for a scheduled appt and they told me I wasn't even written down but they would let me in anyway, as if they were so accommodating and the nice guys here. Geesh. Anyways, I left the building peacefully but broke down and cried. I was upset all day. When I was at the reception desk I did reschedule, however, I called when I got home and Left a message and asked someone to call me and explain to me what happened and why. I got Nothing. No call back, no apology, no explaination, no anything. This to me is Very strange. Total nightmare. A few of my friends told me that is was completely unacceptable and to find a better dentist. In fact, one of my friends said they have a reputation of being very rude and awful to people. Wow. Craig Creasy, I am very disappointed. Craig Creasy's wife, she is super unfocused and has done a couple very problematic fillings for me in the past which I have told her still bother me...but she ignores that and goes to the tooth beside it and drills away at that one...crazy person. I tell you, if I would have decided to stay there, I may end up with no teeth at all. I am afraid of them. Truely. Seriously! There is something very odd and spooky going on there. Dark energy. Good bye. I am not sure but I have a feeling these dentists are not liking their jobs...unhappy, rude and unprofessional. Sad because I use to really use to like Craig. I had been going to Dr. Craig Creasy's office for several years and was very happy with my dental hygenist there. She was very caring and seemed to understand the complexities and seriousness of my health situation. Dr. Creasey on the other hand, I believe did not or just didn't seem to care all that much; especially on my last visit to him.. I saw him a few months ago for a few x-rays on a few old molars. He told me the upper one in the back needed to come out but there was" no hurry". He referred me to a local oral surgeon. I set up the appt. right away but could not make it on that day due to how poorly I felt. I did get in to have an I-CAT as recommendation by one of my drs. who sees me for my serious chronic health issues and requested that a digital copy be sent to him right away. When I tried to get another appt. to see the local oral surgeon, the receptionist told they could not get me in until early April and that was for a consult ONLY! Knowing the pain I was in and feeling it was a more urgent matter because of my severely compromised immune system, I was able to get in to see an oral surgeon up in Santa Rosa who works more with chronically ill patients. After seeing my x-ray of that molar, he found the tooth to be completely dead and also a huge severe infection in the bone in back called necrosis of the bone. It was very serious and I was told I was basically lucky to be alive! He removed the tooth and the infection RIGHT AWAY! Now I have a big hole in the back of my mouth up top.Still waiting the results to see exactly what kind of infection it was and if has spread to anyplace else!! Not only do I think that both Dr. Creasey and the local oral surgeon were very neglectful but that they are probably in their practices for the money. When my caregiver and I tried to give comments about what happened via phone, the office manager was very rude and told me that I should probably find another dentist because I have too many chronic health problems. She also said she felt removing old mercury fillings is very controversial. What she does not seem to know it is quite important to have the old fillings removed when you have the health issues I do; including high sensitivities to neurotoxins which mercury is. Removing old fillings with mercury can make a big positive difference as we have been told by one of my doctors and the oral surgeon up in Santa Rosa. This is no way to treat any patient!! I will no be returning to his office again and will definitely tell anyone who is planning on seeing him to please NOT!! I am sorry to say I was very shocked and disappointed at Dr. Creasy's casual comment on my very old and bad molar which might of been that way for several years. He should of told me it was very important to get me to see the local oral surgeon as soon as possible and also have he or his staff call the surgeon to get me in as soon as possible for the removal of the molar and the bone infection. read more

I had been a patient of Dr. Dickard's for years. I was very happy with Dr. Dickard. He was very honest and truthful. However, things have changed dramatically since his retirement. The place has changed into a dental production line. All they care about is doing unnecessary dentistry for profit. I saw Dr. creasey a couple of years ago and she made me do some fillings right after Dr. Dickard had given me a clean bill of health before his retirement. About a year and a half later, I was seen by a young dentist (Dr. Pfaffinger) who told me I needed 3 fillings and 2 very expensive crowns. I think he just finished dental school recently. Well, I became suspicious and went for a second openinon with another local dentist. The dentist told me that I DID NOT NEED ANY CROWNS AND AT BEST I WOULD NEED A SMALL AND INEXPENSIVE FILLING. They have a few good ratings. However, they seem to be soliciting their patients to give them a good rating. I was asked to vote for them as the top dentist in Nevada County that is published annually by the Nevada Union Newspaper. read more
