We gave him a call and he answered and was the most professional and trustworthy guy we could have asked for. Brad answered all our questions honestly, and most importantly, worked with us about our idea and put it into the end product. One of the most beautiful things on our remodel is the stamped concrete pattern he did for us, and the rest of the concrete driveway. Our home is above the street level, and so the driveway is the very first thing you notice and it is amazing. He took the time to really understand what we wanted and after he and his team (a great team he has as well) were done, we were more than pleased. His does quality work. He doesn't cut corners. He knows his product inside and out. I recommend Brad (ICF Construction) to all of you who want a caring and understanding person to accomplish what you wish in a timely and professional manner.

Brad and crew did a stellar job with the sidewalk, and had to MacGiver a solution with the forms he had in order to create to look we were after. All went well until the winter, when the concrete on the apron started to fail (the top coat of the broomed surface pitted significantly and chipped away). Brad came out the following spring to inspect the apron, had the concrete supplier come out to try to figure out what had happened. They were unable to determine a cause, as the other surfaces (sidewalk and porch) did not have the same problem. However, Brad guaranteed the work and he and his crew tore out the entire apron (10 feet deep and three garage stalls wide) and replaced it with a new one. They also resealed the sidewalk at no cost. Excellent work. Fast forward two years.....I contacted Brad to get information on the type of sealer I should apply to the sidewalk and other surfaces. He provided me with information on the different types that should be used (different types for the stamped concrete and the broomed surfaces), and emailed me links on the products he suggested. Two months later he contacted me to see if I had sealed the sidewalk yet. When I informed him that I had not, he offered to come out and do it for me. Two weeks after that we came home to a newly sealed sidewalk......at no cost to us. Our experience with Brad has been nothing but positive and would highly recommend his work.

The reference told me they did okay as long as I understood the guy was new and needed reminding. This was very true. I also found their workmanship to be sub-standard and reckless. We had our ceilings scraped and in doing that, they damaged our walls and woodwork. When they painted initially they draped areas, but when repainting (several times) they did not drape anything and ended up getting paint on our light fixtures and wood work that is still there even after we tried removing it. We had them put down new flooring and months later when I removed a couple floor vent covers I found several inches of saw dust and construction debris sitting in the vents, being pulled into our duct work. Recently the treads they installed on our steps are now coming loose as the glue is not holding. During the project I even found parts from items that needed to be re-installed in our garbage can that had to be retrieved and put where belonged. I felt like I had to keep track of what was to be done and tell their workers even though I had already communicated with the manager. Their attention to detail is very much lacking. If you have anything done by this company, be sure you keep a detailed journal and written communication on what is agreed upon as part of the project.

Is MN Maintenance a case of mercenary MN nice?? Derek at…read moreMinnesota Maintenance was very friendly up-front, came to our house to take measurements within days of contacting him and took the time to talk through our pretty straight forward remodel needs. He invested at least 4 hours in the initial intake and driving. He committed to getting us a quote in the week. And again after a month and then again after two months. Each time we followed up, he was super nice and said it was coming. He never once said anything about being too busy, or the job not being a fit for their business. Perhaps he wanted us to telepathically understand he wasn't going to take our business. It's too bad because we are not telepathic and apparently way too patient. So it's radio silence from MN Maintenance. No courage or decency to close the loop. I hope this review helps people to NOT bother with them and not be fooled by the empty MN nice on the front end of their interaction. MN Maintenance is NOT real MN Nice!
