They kept $1995 from my security deposit for returning the keys two days late. Its not like we didn't try to return it in time. They office was closed and we weren't sure where to drop it. We dropped it two days later as per their advise and was in constant communication about throughout the process. All they cared about was that the key was returned late and as a penalty, a month's rent shall be withheld from security deposit. They emailed us warning about the fee but who in the world charges that amount??? It seems like they just wanted a reason to keep our deposit. read more

This is the worst office to rent from. Avoid getting scammed by these greedy people. They ripped me off , by taking 750$ from my security deposit for false repairs. They left us with a clogged toilete a whole night because while my wife was pregnant!! they didnt want to pay for a plumber ( They didnt fix the issue until i called the city) and good luck with their emergency line! My car got vandalized couple times in their property when i told them they said feel free to park on the street! The super also refused to tell me who was it when i showed him a video! I lived in their lidgerwood building which was the worst experience ever. Heather and Qadria were so rude and not helpful at all. They just want your money so take it somewhere else. read more

I am hoping that this would save with zero stars, but no luck. The building I lived in was sold to Creative Capital Group. I should have guessed from the beginning that it was going to be a problem, despite my hopes for better management. I had already sent in and had my check cashed for rent by the former property management when I got a knock on the door from the superintendent saying the building had been sold, and to send my rent to them. This wasn't really my problem - they needed to get the rent from them. I followed up with them stating this fact, they said not to worry. Fast forward to the next month, and they said I am in arrears on the email notice (the only one I ever received for the rest of my time I stayed here). I said that I had all the backup documents saying it was fine. They removed that arrears. However, they said that each month we would get an EMAIL statement to pay. This never happened after that first month. I paid my rent way before 1st each month, by check via regular mail, using an old statement and crossing out the rent date. Luckily, they did email me a copy of a receipt back. Their office hours are not hardly doable if you have a regular job and don't live in or near Irvington. When they took over the building, they removed the dumpster for trash, and squirrels, rats and mice started to appear in the parking lot. The poor superintendent had to take the garbage to the curb each trash day. They also got rid of the washing machines and dryers without any notice, and maintenance of the common areas went downhill. I hope the superintendent is earning more money because he deserves it. When I moved out, it took more than a month to get my security deposit back. I called asking for information on it, and the person was very rude, although I did not say anything rude to her. That's a shame, because I work for a place that places people in rentals, usually paid in advance by larger corporations, and I've advised them to never place anyone in apartments owned by Creative Capital Group. They seem like they don't really care about the apartments or the tenants, which is a shady way to do business. read more

ZERO STARS IF THERE WAS SUCH A THING!!! Omg! I will agree 100 times over what the other reviewer stated: F*#king RUDE AS HELL! I wish I knew this before I signed the dotted line on that contract! Customer service is the ABSOLUTE WORST I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED.... And WHY???? I never approach them in a disrespectful manner, even when they are being rude to me. Area is very poor and lotta crime. always people hanging around inside building complex is even worse people hanging in hallways smoking lots of trash always kept in the back. I had an incident where is the told me after two years that I need to pay for a second parking spot so I agreed to do so but then when I went to pay for the parking spot. I'm thinking I'm getting a key , then they informed me that the $60 that I'm paying is for the spot for the monthly fee but that doesn't include access to the parking lot with the key. That I would need to pay $40 additional dollars for the gate key to get in. how are you gonna make someone pay for something twice so you mean to tell me you're paying for a parking spot but I don't get a key to enter that parking spot unless I pay for it. anyhow the apartments are not upscale it all everything's electric appliances the bathroom ceiling molding they keep painting it with white paint comes right back there's no laundry facility in the building whatsoever my packages have got stolen. Just a poor living experience overall. Best thing is pets are allowed. read more

Truly, I see a lot of people that say that management for rental companies is rude, but have you ever been yelled at? Consistently, or been called a c*** by a receptionist? I reside in a property owned by this company and the customer service is by far one of the worst I have ever experienced. It's so sad that as a paying tenant, when we have concerns and are reaching out for help the ppl in office are so nasty, rude, cold and bothered. Through email, no one responds, by phone, no one is pleasant to speak with and in person no one is interested In finding the solution. I would recommend that you think twice before renting from them.
