I do not recommend this place for Endless Pool repair. They charged me a flat fee of $323 to show up and look at my pool, and the technician stayed less than 10 minutes. I thought that was really bogus. He then took multiple weeks to give me a quote. When I finally got the quote, they said they had to drain the pool, disassemble the motor, and take it back to their shop for further inspection. They said it would cost me $4k just for the further evaluation, and would take up to 8 weeks. I got the pool fixed by Sergio from RW Scott Construction who did a great job, on site, for much less money and much faster, with no ridiculous upfront fees for no work. Make sure your tub site inspection discloses the need to have a specialized electrical receptacle installed. I found out when the delivery install crew ( great job btw) could not plug things in . Site inspector who sign off on the site never mentioned this. Sales rep blew me off telling me to read my paperwork, that was the final straw as the same sales rep was a real tool, very poor customer service skills and bad communication manners , rude and such but he thinks he's the greatest! Thank goodness we had Dave from Creative Energy come out and repair our Hotsprings spa, after a horrible and expensive service experience with another independent incompetent repairman from north Marin. Dave has about 30 years experience with hot tubs and was able to professionally diagnose and fix the problems created by the other repair guy. He took his time to explain in detail how and why I should properly maintain our spa, which is something I haven't been good at. If you want to get your hot tub / spa serviced by a super knowledgeable, friendly and honest guy, Dave from Creative Energy is your guy in Marin. The dust has finally settled on two projects: replacing a 30 y/o spa and updating our fireplace and replacing a 25 y/o gas insert. Cole was our point person. In 2019 I stopped into Creative Energy and got a replacement quote for our 1994 Hot Springs Sovereign from Cole. There was no pressure to buy and he agreed it was reasonable to nurse it along it for $300. Indeed it lasted another 4 years. Like many others I found him to be friendly, knowledgeable, responsive, available and patient. He has the authority to adjust pricing to meet a competitor's bid and the willingness to make adjustments in delivery, removal and installation costs. He never said, "I need to check with my manager" and he never went back on a quote. Any computer error or issue with our installation was rectified in a timely manner. Cole was willing and able to adjust dates to accommodate reconstruction of the decking. Our experience was similar for the fireplace insert. We contracted with one of his recommended artisans, Randy Doolittle*Design on Fire. The same issues of meeting a competitor's bid, coordinating installation with construction and followup to address loose ends were handled in a similar positive manner. I likely will not be around in 30 years when replacements will be needed, but if I am I will return to Creative Energy. For now I recommend you patronize or at least consider them. read more

Lied to me about waiting for some part from the manufacturer. 3rd repairman rewired the hot tub and fixed it - there was no part he was waiting on.
