They were 7 minutes from me. Within moments, I was able to get my dog back even though her collar (and Apple ID tag) was not on her. I am so grateful. I am now thinking of switching care because of the devotedness of this employee of this clinic. They were so kind and quick to respond. I was driving around shaking, imagining the worst case every alley I drove down. I am beyond thankful and will be leaving every positive comment that I can.

But I think that the review which claims Dr. Gibson is aggressive is completely unfair. She takes all precautions to make sure the animal is comfortable, going above and beyond. My experience with this vet has been consistently positive; even if the facilities are potentially limited and the hours are particular, they have had everything they need to take care of my dog, namely compassion and expertise. As far as pricing is concerned, I am no expert because I used to go to upper Arlington vet and that was not cheap. If that's your concern then call and ask. Anyways, so far so good, will continue to take my baby here.

When my younger cat developed near-death symptoms, I called her after hours in a panic. She directed me to MedVet. The poor cat had HCM. MedVet were saying "there was no wrong decision" and Dr. Gibson was calling me while I was there to tell me I didn't need to have my cat euthanized; there was medication to treat her. She was spot on. That cat lived another 6 years. I will always respect her for this. But for the last 7 years, I would bring my remaining (senior) cat and the visits always felt chaotic and ADHD. Meaning, I would bring my cat in for her shots and the next thing I know (after a flurry of acronyms, possible health issues, etc.) I would be pressured into getting a battery of tests. I never walked out of the vet office for less than $500 during the last years of my second cat's life. I never felt that Dr. Gibson considered the most likely diagnosis (of whatever the issue was) but would overwhelm with a verbal-vomit of possible diseases and tests and outcomes. For me, there was a disconnect.

I have been with the Vet Clinic since 1982 when I moved back from Missouri. They have cared for 5 of my kitties and 9 doggies, plus several of my daughter's and mother's animals over the years. They have truly been family. I recently moved to Delaware OH and thought I had a good match for my Pomeranian, Harry, only to find the doctor there only had what he wanted to do in mind, and refused to be on a team, refusing care, with Harry's cardiologist every time Harry needed a medication or blood test. I reached back out to the team at the Vet Clinic several times and they have been stellar at stepping up for Harry, prescribing what the Cardiologist requested at the Compounding Pharmacy next door (Harry will not take a pill so liquid it is on all 4 medications!). Since we are still in the year time frame and Harry was actually in the office for a shot one day, he is still considered a patient and, with the problems I am encountering in Delaware with vets, I will be driving back to Worthington in days/months to come for Harry's needs, where he will be back with the family that cares about him. This practice, with Dr. Kellogg who retired, Paula Moeller and now Missy Shardy and Kim will always be family and are highly recommended.

Pre-pandemic I learned all about Holly Starr and what she is capable of doing with canines. In the…read morebeginning I had had some major surgery and Holly came to the house and walked to the dogs everyday. A lady in the neighborhood had explained to me how Holly's in our neighborhood walking dogs for folks and so I was exceptionally pleased that my dogs formed such a tight tight relationship with Holly and I was just blown away with her and her family and how I was treated and how they loved my dogs. It wasn't long after that when I learned that Holly was capable of working with my dogs to help me understand some situations that I thought we were experiencing. The energy sessions that Holly did honestly really use their chakras and really helped both dogs at the time improve their overall energy and I believe calm some pain related anxiety. In September of 22 I had to put down a 15-year-old female husky Shepherd. She was suffering with fluid on the brain and Alzheimer's and throughout her last couple of months it was extremely important for me to have Holly work with her so I knew that Heidi was ready to cross and what Heidi wanted me to do with Pete and what Heidi expected of me as she transitioned. Absolutely without a doubt everything that Holly was able to express as she worked with Heidi came true and was so accurate. When Heidi was ready to finally cross when she was experiencing her body just totally giving out Heidi made it so clear that she was ready. So that is how I knew specifically that it was the right time that particular day to have Heidi transition. Heidi was clear on what she wanted for her brother that she was leaving behind. Pete, was a 15-16 year old male Papillon Corgi and about 3 months after Heidi died Pete needed to go on some end of Life Care because of a mass with his trachea and that caused some congestive heart failure. When Pete died July 1 in bed in my arms Pete died exactly like Pete wanted to and pretty much exactly like Pete had told Holly that is what he and Heidi both wanted they wanted to make sure that I was okay and that we did everything as a family and we did. 2 weeks after Pete died there was no way that I would have found a 12-year-old purebred Siberian that needed to be rehomed without Pete and Heidi doing everything to make that a reality. So Jake being a 12-year-old purebred Siberian was rehomed and didn't know how to be a dog but it didn't take him long to start learning what it was like to be a dog and believe it or not some of his distinct characteristics and personality traits were 110% exactly like Heidi and Pete exhibited. 6 months after rehoming and bringing Jake into my home then a rescued Great Pyrenees mix was what Jake chose to make his sister.. I believe that I learned so much that was so accurate and so spot on through having Holly work with my canines, they are my fur babies, and I know that at least I believe that I am parenting them in a way that they appreciate and they can communicate what they need and how they're expressing themselves is accurate and true. I am forever grateful for the relationship that I have for the relationship that I have formed with Holly and her family but for me more importantly is the fact that I trust and believe and Holly's ability to work directly with my dogs in ways that I don't believe would occur otherwise.

Oliver came with a long list of issues both physical and emotional. He was afraid of everything and a challenge to train. Holly started working with him shortly after Oliver became a family member, that was over 7 years ago. She has been influential in helping me make healthcare choices, she has calmed him with her treatments, she administers his meds, knows when he's in pain and needs to cut a walk short and has helped in countless other ways. More than anything I know Holly loves Oliver as much as i do. She clearly loves all those in her care and I am forever grateful she came into our lives.
