I was in Littleton and thought I'd swing by since the reviews were so good. This is a gem. It was a beautiful day and rows and rows of carefully tended perennials were ready to be planted in gardens. You can tell that the staff and owner put a lot of love into growing the highest quality selection. The staff is very friendly and they were putting their hearts into getting plants out. It was near closing time on a Saturday but they were so motivated and happy. I got a fairly priced peony and some pansies and will enjoy planting them today. read more

When I walked into the store, one worker immediately stood out and it was Hudson Baugh. I was struggling selecting a tree I would like and he recognized my frustrations without me even asking. Even after he picked the perfect tree for me, he even assisted me in carrying it 2 miles back to my home since my truck broke down a week ago. Would totally come back just for him! read more

This is such a cute spot. I have a black thumb and am terrible with houseplants. The woman who helped me was able to find me a variety of plants that I could water once a week and not kill. She helped me pick appropriate planters for the size of plants I chose, and planted them for me (there is a potting/soil fee). It is truly one stop shopping with hand holding for those of us who need plants 101. They also have a super cute gift shop with plenty of seasonal goodies, and we were able to pick out a gorgeous pumpkin in the fall. The person who helped me wore a mask and there hasn't been anyone in the shop when I have been there. This is a great, uncrowded local option for your gardening needs. read more

I love the plant selection. The employees with the exception of what I believe is a manager,are great. The manager is very ill tempered. I've been in there at least 4 times in the last 3 days. I called various plant nurseries to have a tree delivered to a family who recently lost a lived one. They were so hopeful and kind. They helped me pick the perfect tree to plant this season and even printed out a note I had sent to be delivered with the trees. The price was extremely reasonable for both the tree and the delivery. This is a lovely place with very helpful employees. The nursery is bigger than it looks from the street, because their lot is very deep, but not wide along the road. They have many free classes and provide a lot of helpful advice when picking out plants. read more

I absolutely hate to be writing this review, because I want to support local businesses as much as possible. But as of now, 3 of the 4 house plants I have purchased for myself from here have had major bug infestations. The first plant I ever bought from here was an alocasia curly bambino which ended up having a major spider mites infestation. I had to trash it to avoid infesting my other plants :( They gave me a replacement which also still came down with spidermites and is now currently just a bulb that I am hoping to bring back to life. I bought a sygonium quite a while back and noticed that a few leaves were dying off here and there... After looking at it more closely today I noticed it had a terrible mealy bug infestation. I wiped the leaves, gave it a good shower, sprayed with neem oil and put insecticide in the top layer of soil and I'm hoping that it will survive. I'm quite fond of my houseplants, and I have around 20 just in my bedroom, so bug infestations are kind of a big deal. (My mature fiddle leaf caught spider mites from the alocasia). Staff is super friendly though and always willing to help, which I appreciate very much. Aside from the bug problems, the plants are quite beautiful. Semi-pricey which is why I keep to smaller plants. Wish I could be giving 5 stars but the bug infestations are killing me! read more

We visited the gardens to window shop in early spring. They were hosting their grand opening for the season and the staff was warm and welcoming. I asked about milkweed for my butterfly garden and was taken to a display of a wide variety of flower seeds that will make the pollinators happy. We walked through a couple of the greenhouses and needless to say we are excited to return for our summer veggie garden. All their plants are beautiful and robust. At checkout we were given more helpful information to make sure we had the best results. This is a wonderful garden center! read more

I searched online and found Creekside Gardens for a same day delivery of a large patio pot for my daughter's birthday. Patty was so helpful and accommodating! She assured me it would be delivered and made it happen! She even texted me a picture of the gorgeous planter before and after delivery! When ordering long distance, you never know what you are going to get but I can't rave enough about the quality! The pot was full off a vibrant colorful, healthy, gorgeous variety of plants!! I can't say enough great things about this place. I love their free classes, and fun family activities they put on through the summer. Every time we have been to Creekside they are friendly and very helpful, they make you feel like family. We love to go and walk the green houses in the spring and watch all the seedling grow into beautiful plants. I did a custom order with Creekside back in March, 2012. I took my own containers in and thought I would get back beautiful custom designed creations. Cathy is the girl in charge of planting. She did not listen to a thing I asked for and I was not aware of this until I went back to pick up my order 3 months later. I had 3 containers and 2 rod iron hanging baskets. I was told that the rod iron baskets they had prepared had died. But they weren't even my rod iron hanging baskets which I had purchased there 5 - 6 years before, The manager and another gentleman were trying to help me and were being very nice. In steps an older woman and told me that I had purchased my rod iron baskets from Tuesday Morning or Jareds or someplace else that was cheap. She was absolutely nasty about it and at that point she took away every bit of goodwill the other two men had accomplished. She started throwing the flowers out of the hanging baskets onto the floor and pitching a temper tantrum like you have never seen. She shouldn't have even been in the conversation and everything would have been fine. I have never been treated so poorly by anyone in my life. She should have stayed out of it because the other two men were helpful and nice. The other three containers did not look custom at all - I could have planted the flowers and had them look that bad. I took the pots there so they would look beautiful. I can tell you they were not beautiful. And they charged me over $500.00 and I had my own containers. I paid alot of money when I bought the rod iron baskets from them. I have been a customer of their's for over 10 years. Their items are extremely expensive but I didn't mind that. I minded being treated so badly when I hadn't done anything but expect them to be able to plant five containers that were way overpriced and they couldn't even accomplish that. I will not be a customer any longer and all because that old lady was sooooooo nasty. read more
