They guilted me into a 4000 dollar invisalign course, and then tried to get me to pay more for retainers at the end of it. There is a plaque in the office saying how many invisalign they've sold. I had to wait about an hour at the office once before an appointment. Another time, I had an appointment, but my car broke down, I called them to let them know that I couldn't come, and they told me there would be a cancellation fee. Their ads that play at the movie theater mention how there's "no guilt." Absolutely fuck this place.

The VA paid them, then they decided to extort the VA and us for more money. I went elsewhere and found out that they used the lowest type of denture possible. Once we paid the balance off, we kept receiving bills from collections telling us we had the same balance. I've spoke to 4 employees at that office regarding this issue. They all say we don't have a balance yet the bills don't stop coming. It's awful they don't even get back to you to try and resolve something so simple. Dr. Andrew Johnson did an excellent job repairing it with a porcelain crown. The crown fits perfectly and the tooth feels strong and stable without any discomfort. The porcelain crown exactly matches my other teeth in color and shape. The crown looks and feels perfectly natural. I am extremely pleased with it. On top of all that, I didn't have to pay a cent because Riverview Family Dentil is in network with my Liberty Dental insurance! ;)

Cannot believe there are no reviews of this place…read more Twice before in my life (1990 in one place and 1998 in a different place) I have had dentists tell me I need an "extensive" procedure with my gums. Both times, I said "nope," went to a different dentist and was told my gums are fine. Well, guess what it happened a third time. (2020) I initially went to a DIFFERENT dentist in Wenatchee and, again, was told I needed that same "extensive" procedure with my gums. (and that particular dentist office has all positive 5 star reviews.... hmmm.....) Because of COVID I couldn't bolt from that dentist right away as it was tricky to switch dentists during that time. Then a coupon book came out, and Riverview had a coupon for either teeth whitening or a free Sonicare toothbrush. Really wasn't interested in using the coupon, but thought it was a good time to switch dentists. I'll give them a try. They were very thorough in their medical background check, had to fill out lots of papers, but it's ok. I wrote out my tale of woe about THREE TIMES getting taken advantage of by other dentists who "over reached" in procedures I "needed." Dr. Johnson did explain that gum issues are a very serious thing, but when he checked my gums, he said my issues were minor and not that alarming. But he cautioned me that I still have to be careful. VINDICATED! The staff is very nice, and they are VERY accommodating. I explained that I have a thing about bringing my own dental floss, they were ok with that. I also explained that I have to have plain pummice, I cannot handle the flavored stuff. They were ok about that. I also explained that I have issues with anesthesia and have, occasionally had minor fillings done without anesthesia. They said they could accommodate that. Dr. Johnson is very good about answering questions and being thorough with the answers. I don't like to give five stars, normally only give four, cuz to me five is PERFECT and no one is perfect, but after my previous experience with another dentist, well, I will give five stars!

I had a very bad experience with this provider regarding a billing issue. While I was at an appt…read morefor cleaning, I asked the hygienist if I could ask the doctor one question about whether I would be a candidate for invisiline braces, but prefaced it by saying I don't need to ask if it would mean I would incur a cost for an exam, which I wasn't scheduled for that day and didn't need. The hygienist asked the receptionist who acted like she understood the question but she didn't give any response to the question. After my cleaning the receptionist guided me to meet with the doctor. I asked my question which didn't involve ANY exam or even looking in my mouth. Later I received a bill for my cleaning and I was charged an additional $150 for an exam. When I called the office manager she was very rude and said ANY meeting with the doctor constitutes an appt and I would have to pay or it would go to collections. She didn't care whatsoever that her receptionist made a mistake---there was zero customer service. Apparently it didn't matter that I asked two of her employees, one of whom, the hygienist, I had no fault with--she asked if I could ask the question without having to have an appt and be charged. But the receptionist said nothing and apparently had no culpable responsibility here and the manager was extremely rude and inflexible. I will never go back here. The only star I give is because the provider is supposed to be knowledgable. I live in Wenatchee WA not San Francisco, not sure why the review says this
