Dr Nasr of Creekside Dental was assigned to me through the VA administration for a community care provider. To be honest, I was not expecting much based on the previous providers I have seen however that was not the case at all. Dr Nasr was so kind so knowledgeable, and so accommodating. He advocated for my care with the VA. There are many layers to this, but the bottom line is I got a brand new smile and I can't think Dr Nasr and his team enough! My name is Lisa Gibson I had a procedure for veneers scheduled today at Creekside Dental after getting the courage up After avoiding the dentist for years due to severe anxiety and fear of needles. I was quoted $15,500 for upper veneers and was specifically promised accommodations to make the procedure manageable for me, including medication the night before, additional medication at the office, and laughing gas before any injections. The morning of my appointment, after mentally preparing myself and following through with the plan we discussed, I was informed they were out of laughing gas and had no idea when it would be available. For a patient with serious dental anxiety, this was not a small inconvenience -- it was the entire reason I felt comfortable moving forward in the first place. Because the agreed-upon accommodations were no longer available, I had no choice but to cancel the procedure. While I did receive a refund, the way the situation was handled afterward felt dismissive and unprofessional. For a practice charging premium cosmetic dentistry prices, I expected far better communication, preparation, and compassion toward a patient placing that much trust in them. I've been going to Creekside Dentistry in Folsom for a little while now, and honestly, I'm so glad I found them. From the moment you walk in, you can tell this place runs like a well-oiled machine -- clean, bright, and welcoming. The front desk team is friendly, organized, and actually seems happy to see you (which isn't something you can say about every dental office). Dr. Nasr is fantastic, kind, patient, and extremely thorough. I had my first dental appointment in 5 years with Creekside Denistry and I can say from the front desk, to the hygienist, to the Dentist I was completely impressed. I've had ongoing pain in the back of my mouth, but due to choosing medical insurance over dental while being a business owner, I neglected my teeth. I've had a huge swollen gum up until my cleaning, the hygienist was thorough she really cleaned around the infected gum and tooth, injected it with a medicine and the Dentist also prescribed me antibiotics. Five days later and I'm feeling like a new person, I forgot what it was like not to have pain and I couldn't be more thankful for the knowledge and excellent care. read more

I recently moved from the Bay Area and was looking for a new dentist . My son who is already living in Folsom had recommended his dentist whom he has been seeing for years. I have no dental insurance and needed 3 crowns. I first went to Dr. Hamid Nasr because his wife is my primary doctor and that is how I knew his clinic. He gave me a quote for the crown. Having no dental insurance I wanted to save some money of course. I then asked my son to ask his dentist for a quote on how much they'll charge for a crown. Their quote is much higher than Dr. Nasr so I decided to get it done by Dr. Nasr at Creekside Dentistry. I went to his clinic and "WOW!" His clinic is amazingly beautiful. So, I am hoping I would really like the service as well. Who wouldn't want a good dentist in a very nice upscale and modern clinic. Time to get fitted with 3 crowns. Since it's my first time, they need to take X-rays of my teeth. His facility is so modern that you don't need to go to another room to have the x-ray done. What is more amazing is the crown is made right there at his clinic. He showed me the machine and digitally shaping the crown right there. I was very impressed and what's even more impressive is that when he puts in the crown it fits perfectly the very first time. It did not have to be adjusted many times before it feels right. ALL 3 CROWNS....and what's more amazing is that you'll get the crown the same time you're there unlike other dental clinic where they have to send it to a lab then you have to make another appointment for fitting and putting it on. It is a time saver! Everyone in the clinic are all so nice as well. I highly recommend Dr. Nasr at Creekside Dentistry. I am honestly impressed with everything, how elegant and beautiful the clinic is, how friendly not just the staffs but even Dr. Nasr himself and the modern tools they have. Quack of a dentist. They try to seem nice but they are a mess. We were referred by the VA for sedation services. My spouse has a phobia of the Denist. The dentist gave us an RX for a sedation medication. This medication is a controlled substance. Dr didn't include our address so pharmacy refused the RX. We have visited 4 pharmacies who refuse or dont csre medication. They also asked that the Dr send a new one electronically. I went back into office to get new RX. Dr canceled my spouses appointment blaming us for the issues with RX. He refused to give a new one or send electronic one. He stated there are many pharmacies that will take it. Our VA won't even take it. Today the VA tried to get the RX changed by calling the Dr. Again the Dr calls and blames us for not getting the RX. He then proceeds to cancel us again and blame us for the issues. I let him know he was being negligent. They already got paid for our services so I will be filling a report. Please do not go here for VA dental. They are a small overbooked office who don't handle patient care well. read more

All the staff work with the Dentist is good except the dentist himself. The Dentist has huge ethic issue. I accidentally broke my tooth and I found him online and called after hour on Thursday because my regular dentist was not available. He immediately answer my call even it is after hour and ask me to send the picture of my broken tooth. He will see me even his office is closed on Friday.. red flag. No dental procedures are emergency unless it is bleeding heavily and swelling exponentially. This dentist does not care what is best for the patient but he cares about how to make immediate money for himself. He is not a good dentist, he is a butcher who is there to make money by damaging patients teeth. After patient complain, he ask patient not to come back. In my case, he extracted my tooth immediately even it wasn't necessary and told me that I have to put the bridge on my teeth instead of implant. He doesn't do implant and he told me that it will cost $10000.00 for the implant. He lied. He cut and damaged there additional tooth immediately for the bridge.. very unethical for the patient but more money in his pocket. He didn't call me for weeks to put the permanent bridge because my insurance delayed the payment. His work was very rough, he had to put 14 stitches on my jaw when he extracted my tooth.. inexperience which required me to be on the antibiotics for 10 days, discomfort. The bridge he put on my teeth was very rough and I feel like I have a huge mass sitting on top of my teeth. I complained and his answer was "this is the best I can do." He said he will never see me again. Very unethical, inexperience, as huge attitude issue with this dentist. Never go to this dentist. Bad, bad, bad. read more

This will come across as long-winded, but you came here to check dental references and do I have one for you...... Creekside Dentistry - Dr. Nasr, Dr. Alex, his hygienist, Saida and the front desk person Alexis. First off, there are additional hygienists and personnel in this office, but I do not have very much personal experience with them. However, they are all very personable, friendly and helpful. Saida is the most awesome hygienist on the face of the earth. I moved 35 miles away and still drive back to Folsom to her because she is so thorough, yet gentle. She does and excellent job with my crowded and (formerly) sensitive teeth. She has me on the right path to where my sensitivity has actually disappeared. She has absolutely awesome attention to detail. Dr Nasr has expertly filled cavities, performed a root canal and the associated crowns. His work is very thorough and looks great when finished. However, his greatest achievement is my daughter's mouth. Unbeknownst to us, she has a jaw "deformity" that prevents braces from correcting her upper jaw. After two attempts and four years of braces, we finally saw an oral surgeon who explained the situation to us as well as the surgery necessary to fix it. Our original thought was that we would NEVER put her through that and she would have to live with rather 'unattractive' (to say the least) teeth. Dr. Nasr presented the idea of veneers to create a beautiful smile on my beautiful daughter. I was SOOOoooo skeptical at first. I did not believe there was ANY way that veneers could fix "that mess". He asked us to trust him. I am so glad that we did. She had EIGHT veneers put on, plus some additional repair. The transformation to her entire face is over-whelming. It brought her Dad to tears! His work is impeccable, she had no discomfort to speak of and she looks AMAZING!! This will turn out to be one of the most important, life-changing decisions that we have ever made. Let me pre empt this with the fact that I've been a patient here for 5 years. I chipped my front tooth and I called on Wednesday and they were closed. There was an option to send an email so I did. I never got a return call so I called this morning. They made me an appointment for today (Friday) at 1:30. The dentist tells me he will only repair it if I choose veneers ($3,600 for two teeth, not covered by ins, they have to do two teeth so my front teeth will match, although I only chipped one). I explain I can't afford it and I've had it repaired in the past (small chip so they just fill it). He understands this, but he wants to repair it permanently. I leave with a chipped tooth and now I have to find a new dentist. Complete waste of my 1 1/2 hour RT drive and time off work. read more

HORRIBLE! SAVE YOURSELF AND GO TO SOME OTHER PLACE!!! In my experience, you cannot trust these people. They are very welcoming to a new patient and pushy in getting you to do more things than necessary. I had my wisdom tooth removed here recently and during this process Mr. Nasr knocked off the crown on another tooth. He then showed it to me and was speaking as if it wasn't his mistake- he said "I didn't do anything, not sure how it came off, blah blah". This crown had no issues and was on that molar tooth for past 2 years. Obviously this was not my previous dentist's bad work. Duh! This guy needs to own it up and fix his mistakes. So, after the wisdom tooth extraction, he did not prescribe me any pain medication, even after asking for it. He did not guide me on any post-op instruction to take good care - which is extremely important for the first timer. Later that night I was in so much pain and I called the closed office, and left a message. I did not hear anything back from them during the weekend. Another thing was that I noticed some scratches on the back side of my front tooth after the numbness was gone. After 2 weeks, I had shooting pain in my ear on the side where wisdom tooth was removed. I went to the office and Mr. Nasr told me to see "some" ear doctor if the pain is in the ear. He confidently declined his responsibility to polish the minor scratches he had created during the procedure. First of all this was shocking to me that a dentist can decline something he did 2 weeks ago so confidently, when I told him that the roughness that I felt only started after what he did. He told me to leave with an arrogant hand motion. Instead of taking any feedback constructively, this person told me to leave and threatened that he will call police if I didn't leave. This is a shame on the name of a "dentist". People come to such places with trust, knowing they will be ok, but instead this is what you could potentially get too. I went to another dentist right after I got out and she diagnosed me of dry socket and applied the dry socket paste in the place of extraction. I felt better with this, my ear pain was gone in a couple applications of this and she also helped me with the polishing of the back side of my front teeth. Long story short, this person misdiagnosed me, did not listen to my complaints, instead threatened me and asked me to leave (most ridiculous thing any doctor could do), did not fix the additional issues that he had created. I will NEVER RECOMMEND this dentist ever. read more

I live in Irvine, Ca and was visiting a friend here in Folsom , she told me about her great experience with her veneer which was done by Dr. Nasr. I was so impressed with my friend's result that I, myself decided to make a consultation appointment with Dr Nasr. When I arrived for my appointment at Creekside Dentistry I was so impressed with the kind care I received from Dr. Nasr and his staff. The office provides the latest technology such as their Cerec machine that can make crowns in the office. I was also impressed with the machine that provides fast, painless injections. I decided to go ahead with the procedure of restoring all my upper teeth. The cosmetic result has changed my life! I receive so many compliments on my smile, and I have more self confidence now. *Not too long after I posted this review, they ended up charging me for a service that they said would have been free. Dishonesty is big in this office* Do yourself a favor and find a different dentist. They offer people rewards (like HD TVs) for giving nice yelp reviews). I went here and they originally wanted me to get $4000 worth of dental work. Obviously shocked by this, I went and got a second opinion. They wanted to redo all my current fillings (which none of them are/were bothering me), deep cleaning, and get a crown done saying my tooth was rotting. Upon the second opinion, the other dentist said everything checked out and I wouldn't need any extra work done. However it had been awhile since I got my teeth cleaned so I let these guys do that. It was pretty costly even though my insurance did cover most of it. I also needed to get Invisalign done so I did that through this office especially since they told me they would give me $500 off. After I told them about the second opinion the staff was rude to me for the rest of my duration here and charged me full price for the Invisalign, and since I paid $2500 for this I wasn't about to go somewhere else so I stuck this out. They did, however, try to make me pay for this twice and blamed it on their staff switching over positions when I bitched about it. Luckily my treatment plan was quick (only 10 weeks) but when my plates came in they never called me, so I started about a month and a half later than expected because I had to keep calling them about my retainers. When it was finally time to get a actual retainer, I chose the permanent one because I have a loose tooth from bone loss due to braces when I was little. The dentist put it in crooked and was insulted when I asked him to redo it because you could see it whenever I opened my mouth. He literally placed it on top of my teeth and said he had to do that because of the position of my teeth, but I expected better service for $500 on top of the Invisalign. It looked like I had two silver fillings done on the top of my moth, and since he's a cosmetic dentist I expected better treatment for this kind of issue. I came back in and he claimed he simply could not take it off, so first he tried to put the white filling stuff one too which made it look worse. When I didn't like it he gave me attitude and then proceeded to cut the metal pieces back in order to make it less visible (which cut up my mouth a bit too). After this, they ended up confirming an appointment without reminding me about it probably because I was such a hassle by telling him he didn't do a good job at something. but I wasn't charged for a no show because I had actually gotten into a car accident that day. Honestly this office was the worst experience I have ever had, and they have a high turnover of staff which means he's probably a douche to his employees. Is you're still reading, PLEASE JUST GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. They're pushy and rude and I honestly don't know why he still is able to practice. read more

I can't recommend. Called to make an appointment because a filling has cracked that was just done 3 months ago. The receptionist said " we can work you in with a cleaning." I explained I had just received a cleaning 4 months ago. She said yeah "but you get two a year." Then the doctor said he couldn't do anything for the tooth because I grind and didn't want his ridiculous mouth guard (that I was assured tthey would let me return if I didn't like it). This thing is hard as rock and sticks out of your mouth at night so you can't close your mouth. What a joke! He then complained that I returned it. Really? In my opinion you would be better served in a practice that cares about your teeth. Not one that is trying to make a buck regardless. The hygienist is great though. read more

This is surprising. My wife and I began as new patients in November of 2016. We both had a few cleanings. The staff and Dentist's were very comforting and professional. After my last cleaning I was informed, my insurance did not cover approximately​ $400.00 additional for last cleaning. I was not informed prior to my cleaning that it would be out of my pocket? I contacted their desk staff and advised my concern that I had no clue I'd have to pay out of pocket and if so I'd had waited and not gotten the additional cleaning. However, I'd agreed to pay half and the staff agreed they'd cover the rest of the balance to meet in the middle. I decided it was the best way to move forward. This incident of payment was taken care of and agreed to last Spring of 2016. Just recently my wife and I were advised that Creekside Dentistry sent the rest of the balance they agreed to absorb was sent to collections!!!! This was a shock. We received a few letters, now phone calls from debt collectors. We are blown away at this new event. This is not only unprofessional but unethical. There was no misunderstanding of our agreement. This whole incident could have been avoided. I cannot believe an office cannot, make notes that a patient and Office came to such an agreement? I want other perspective patients to see this prior to using them. They hurt my credit over $200.00, that They stated would be closed with both parties being satisfied. First off let me tell you I am terrified of Dentist, have been since I was a kid. Dr. Nazr was aware of this and was very patient with me. He explained that by tensing up my my jaw muscle it causes it to hurt if it does. He even spent the time to show me breathing exercise to relax me and did them with me. No other dentist has ever helped me through my fear like Dr Nazr did. I waited so long to go to the dentist I really messed my gum and bone up. Dr Nazr showed me all the xrays and explained what he had to do and why. He was very honest with my treatment plan and what needed to be done. He didn't push anything just explained why on each choice and why he would recommend a bridge verses implant. I can't say my fear is gone but Dr Nazr has helped make my visit more pleasant, and I will go back. The office staff is also a reflection of Dr Nazr's attitude. They are all professional, pleasant, and make you feel important as a patient. This has been the best dental experience I personally have ever had. This place is a joke! While the office on first appearance looks professional it is anything but that! I took my daughter there for a quote on an implant for a missing tooth. While he made it seem like I was getting a deal with no CAT scan fee he then made ludicrous charges for fillings and other that HAD to be completed BEFORE they could do the implant . REALLY?!! Well needless to say I did some and he knew we were cash pay and the bill for less then half of what he said needed to be done was $1,500!!! The receptionist was less then helpful and if I do say so not the brightest bulb in the box! We got another opinion and all the work we had done was unnecessary and the work not completed was as well. Now they won t stop calling me and keep trying make bogus appointments and send me bills for $50 so I ll call them. I owe them nothing I had to pay in cash! Anyway BEWARE!!
