I met with Brad at my property and we did a complete walk through of the house. I pointed out all the repairs that needed to be done. He had to take measurements of the rooms, etc., so i ended up leaving him there and asked that he locked the doors and windows prior to leaving. Hours later, Brad called to say that he had just left the property. He stated that i should hear from him in a week. A week and a half came and i did not hear from Brad or anyone from the company. Finally, after 2 weeks he called to say that he did not forget about me; I should receive my estimate by the end of the week. He did ask if i received any of the other estimates from the other companies that came out to the property. I told him yes, two of them. Never heard from him again. This was a total waste of time. Very unprofessional on his part. I would not recommend this company at all and that's based off of my experience with them.

As of 12/08/2025, I have not received the estimate, nor heard from Buzz Bunting again. Very unprofessional. I hate having strangers come into my private residence for the purpose of providing service/estimates then disappearing without a word...feels weird and sketchy. Based upon same, I would not recommend Bunting Home Improvements. One star was required for me to include a review and is fair for what was provided.

Justin came out to give us an estimate and he and Dan started the work as soon as we could get them in our schedule. They had to shorten the metal rail that the chair runs along in order to install it. They also shortened and reinstalled the hand railing to another edge where it is very useful now. Once all this was done, they found that a chair lift part was malfunctioning. They took it upon themselves to troubleshoot first directly with the manufacturer and then organized a replacement part for us. We were up and running within a week (all this during Covid in April). They told us they also do other handicap adjustments in the house like grab bars and other items. We will definitely call them back when we need these extra services. Thanks Mack Mobility!

To keep it brief: each time he came to my home he was HOURS late; he flooded my bathroom AGAIN because he didn't know what he was doing; he made sexist and gross comments, including telling me how good my body looked after having a baby; he submitted an invoice my insurance did not accept because it wasn't itemized (and in fact was the least professional-looking invoice I've ever seen); and then when it took forever for him to get paid **because he refused to send an updated invoice and therefore could not be paid out directly by my insurance company** he would randomly try to call me on FaceTime or text me "Hi" over and over again. And what truly sucks is that I am going to have to pay a real plumber to come out and fix the job he did reconnecting the pipes under the vanity because when he messed about with them he significantly decreased the water pressure.

Please check references, reviews, MHIC history as well as criminal history. I posted a review on the contractor's FB page and my review got taken down. This contractor did not perform workmanlike work, please see pictures. Contractor damaged our home and did not repair. Contractor also failed to follow the contract, for instance, the installed ridge vent was not installed according to manufacturer specifications, the vent was not cut. Contractor also is demanding payment of late fees and the contract has no language for late fees.

Of the four contractors contacted, Wesly responded quickly and was at our house the next day asking all the right questions. we also discussed two other projects, more in just passing, but interested in what she would come back with. Within a day, she came back with a series of quotes, one for the stair job we needed, which was very reasonable and for a design that worked very well. Her team showed up the next day and were efficient and very detailed. Our three step project was done in a day and looked great! Although we told Wesly the price on the other patio resurface project was a bit more than we were ready to take on, didn't stop her from finding another option that cut the cost using a ceramic tile that offered better wear, more color options and a design that better matched our house. We could afford that! We were also able to redo a ghastly concrete step from our den that a prior owner bought at Home Depot and dumped in place. Wasn't to code either. The Team was back out and did a marvelous job! They were there three days, morning to late evening getting the job done. The result updated the back of our house, the slate and brick step off the den was to code and the patio was comfortable to walk on and made my wife's patio set look really good. Bonnie at Dun-Rite spent time going through the process and answering all of our questions. She was great at following up with the lender and really helped move things along. It was above and beyond what you would expect from the contractor's side of things. Once work started, things moved quickly. It was clear that Scott is passionate about his work and ensuring that the homeowner has a positive experience. He was reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented. He showed up when he said he would, did good work, and ensured that he cleaned up after himself each and every day. We had never used a contractor prior to our experience with Dun-Rite, but my understanding is that our experience with Dun-Rite is not the experience a lot of other contractors provide. Never thought we would be one of those customers "taken" by a contractor. Overpriced. As I type this, we have a professional drywall and painting company repairing the bathrooms, kitchen and family room. They cannot believe the shoddy work that was done. Save yourself a lot of heartache and hire someone else.
