Which has significantly compounded my family's grief during an already profound difficult period . The incident occurred when I attempted to obtain essential documentation pertaining to my parents funeral services.. as I lost both parents some time ago leaving a state of emotional vulnerability. My request was straightforward and I believe entirely reasonable. I sought to obtain copies of the Funeral service for both my mother and father. These documents are for my personal records and reference.. from a common and expected request from a greving next of kin. However my experience with Delphine was deeply upsetting. Unacceptable.. when I presented my request she unequivocally refused, asserted that I had not paid personally paid for a funeral services. Incorrectly claim that my Sister covered the expenses for my father's funeral. I must clarify that assertion is entirely false the cost of my father service directly through his estate. Beyond a factual inaccuracy Dalphine demeanor, was dismissive, unprofessional, and frankly rude to my establishment and dismay during our conversation. I believe I inherited the right to access these Vital records. Dolphine conduct was not only merely unhelpful insensitive and a complete dereliction of the compassionate support that Grieving families rightfully expect from a Funeral service provider. Her enormous claims and hostile attitude served only to escalate my distress and add to immense pain. I am already experiencing.. the core expectation from any establishment assisting families during difficult times of their loss is offering understanding, empathy and respectful service. Instead, I encounter such a profound lack of respect and professionalism is my view inexcusable for a funeral service.

No one's mind is in the right place when they have lost someone they love but with the staff at Lakeview (and big shout out to Willie Rodriguez who is my go to point of contact), what you forget, they will remember for you and they take care of everything so you can really focus on saying goodbye.

They support the JA community so when I needed assistance, I went to Lakeview Funeral home. The old adage, one hand washes the other. Andrea is thorough, business minded and caring at the same time. Never dismissive. I did not choose a funeral service that was high priced. And to her credit Andrea did not try to sell me one. I believe that no matter what the funeral service price is, she would give you the same attentive, caring treatment. My phone calls are answered quickly, email questions answered promptly. I recommend Lakeview Funeral Home. When I walk into Lakeview the first person, I usually see is William Rodriguez, who always greeted me with a smile, how you doing? and directed me to where I needed to go.

So I had to take charge of the funeral arrangements, which is an experience I wouldn't wish on anyone. Russ helped and guided me through this very difficult process for me and his family. From the moment I spoke with Russ, he made me feel like I wasn't just another customer, but that he understood my pain and loss. Regarding expenses, he was always communicative and presented options that fit our budget. He was also key in helping me obtain the necessary documents to transport the ashes to Mexico. I recommend this place to anyone who wants a kind, professional, empathetic, and caring person to handle the final farewell to their loved ones. (Russ, I'm sorry I ate almost all your chocolates!) Thank you so much for all your help.

One of my daughter's friends has lost her mother and recommended Inclusive Funeral Care. We we sat down with Russ Henrichsen to arrange transport from Glenbrook Hospital for eco-friendly water cremation. He asked if there was particular music my deceased wife enjoyed, to which I replied, the Bonnie Raitt & John Prine version of "Angel from Montgomery." The fact that they asked this question led me to believe that we had chosen wisely. We then had Brooke Benjamin serve as Memorial Celebrant for a Celebration of the Life of Kitty at Chicago Botanic Garden. She met with the family in one extensive 2-hour session that included the daughters, myself, the deceased's brother and sister, asking us questions about our beloved's childhood, family life, hobbies, education, political activism, etc. Even though Brooke had never met my wife, she really extracted her essence.... so much so that 10 people (of the 150 in attendance) asked me "Who was Kitty's friend who ran the ceremony?" Short of resurrecting the dead, the celebration simply could not have been better. Kitty is now in our niche in Graceland Cemetery. Brooke was also very accommodating in allowing us to design our own memorial cards--we fell behind a bit in planning the cards, but things came together at the last minute. If you are looking for funeral directors who present you with a set of options in understandable, plain-English, then Inclusive Funeral Care is for you. Brooke and Russ are really excellent people. They were never heavy handed, allowing us to choose the format of the program. When they offered suggestions we choose not to follow (e.g. having live musicians), there was never any sign of disappointment. I just can not find the words to express how grateful I am to Russ and Brooke at Inclusive Funeral Care.

I received your call on December 29 that my daughter was about to be incubated at Northwestern Hospital in Chicago and at that moment I packed a bag and drove to Chicago and stayed until her passing on April 13, 2026 after Brittany was treated at Northwestern and rarely there was nothing more that could be done she had encephalitis and lymphoma cancer so for four months she fought a hard long battle . My daughter was transferred to Kindred North Hospital investigation, and only lasted a a few days there before she passed and when the time did come I contacted Doug originally and he said just call us when it happens and we'll pick her up and we'll deal with the money and everything later.. actually I couldn't call, but my cousin did make the phone call and then later after she passed, I was able to go online and complete all the pertinent information but he was very professional and when I did pick up the Urns he made it a priority to come out and meet me and offer his condolences very professional service. The only complaint I had was the lady who took care of us seemed a bit cold, but I guess in that type of business you become cold well perhaps that happened to her she didn't offer condolences nothing just let's get this business over with. If I asked a question she didn't know she didn't even try to find answer.I Again I am horrible with names, but this young lady was very compassionate and helpful I was unsure if I was going to be able to drive back to Tennessee or have to fly and she provided me with a free box to ship the urn. irregardless if I ever had to use them again, I would. I live in Tennessee so it's not going to happen, but that was my only daughter who died at age 29. Doug, appreciate your outstanding service and your personal effect on your company.
