Her techniques were geared toward creating dependence, something she admitted was based on her own mental health history. She also violated confidentiality and made herself unavailable during a crisis situation, hanging up the phone on a traumatized client. I feel compelled to post to protect clients from an unfortunate experience that compromises and even accentuates mental health problems. Complaints have been filed with the Board of Behavioral Sciences.
