There are generally a lot of sales rails in this store to choose from, but the general layour is divided nicely between mens, womens, teens and plus sizes. The area for shoes is usually crowded and messy which is a shame as I like their ranges. The changing rooms are spacious and the assistant will always let you take in four items at a time, but rarely do they check when you come out which is a bit of a let down for them. The queues for the till can be quite long and there isn;t much of a system when it comes to queuing so you have to guess where to join on.

What i like about New Look in general is that you can get everything you want in one shop. Clothes, shoes, underwear and accessories and now they have mens and baby clothes it has everything. The range is also casual all the way to formal and party wear. What i like about this particular New Look is that it is huge, clean and always has lots of stock. The staff on the whole are really friendly and will help you locate stock. Sizing is quite good and now they have a larger Inspire range it is even better.

On the first floor you have ample size sections of lingerie and nightwear, womens clothes, footwear and accessories. I went into the store last week and they have a new branded perfume section with perfumes such as gucci etc (i have also noticed they are bringing in other designer brands of clothes to on the website so im sure this will follow instore too) on the ground floor you have homewares (including expensive gorgeous furniture), kids wear and menswear. The staff are always poilte and well dressed. I find when I go into next it's difficult not to find something I like, apart from the prices. I find the prices of some clothes quite expensive but the quality reflects in the price. The changing rooms in store are spacious and well managed. I like the feature where you can call an assistant if you need something else brought to you. There are four separate till areas so it's easy to get served even in busy periods and there is a small lift for parents with pushchairs or wheelchairs etc.

The designs…read morehere are just as unique and sometimes the shapes are offbeat in a haute couture kind of way, but what sets it apart from the other two is the extremely low cost along with the high quality. Sadly, because of this a lot of the popular stuff sells out quick, and because this is a 100% allocation branch they rarely get stock back in once they sell out, as I used to work there and they have a huge stock room to house their one batch of a particular top/dress/jacket etc. The staff keep to themselves and don't bother you, which is nice, but they're too busy tidying up the constant piles of clothes strewn across the store. This is because the shop tends to cram out as much as they possibly can, which also makes for difficult browsing if you've already got a handful of stuff. Be wary of going on busy days, as the fitting rooms will be a distant possibility, and it's best to head for the children's area as the tills there don't tend to get too busy. Lastly, a good thing about the company is that they don't use sweatshop labour; if they find a young child working in a factory they will take them out and pay for their schooling. This is a nice thing to know in light of the low cost of the clothes, as many will think it's from exploitative labour. I'd recommend shopping here in general, but be prepared to hunt for some good bargains, especially during the sales.

The home/kitchen area is brilliant - if you are in castlepoint don't go to robert dyas or lakeland for kitchen stuff - i got my great quality baking trays etc from here at a fraction of the price. The menswear section is also good for buying gifts eg designer wallets, cufflinks etc in nice presented boxes. Downstairs they have womens clothes, loungewear, underwear, a huge gorgeous bag section and beauty section. It is definitely worth rummaging through the clothes as i found Sass & Bide jeans hidden away for £39.99 (usually over 150 pounds!). I also like that they have lots of natural/organic beauty stuff in there quite often such as linden leaves, this works, balance me etc. They have a great range of fragrances too.
