I had a problem because I was promised an $800 promotional trade-in on my old phone which was not available on the Verizon plan I had. After 5 months of back and forth, Verizon made good on the original promise and I was satisfied. Then on Oct.18, 2024, just under a year later, I kept an appointment to have the factory installed screen protector replaced under Samsung's free replacement policy within the first year. To my surprise, the repair facility told me that my warranty had expired on Sep 28,2024 only eleven months after my purchase. A chat with Samsung uncovered the fact that my "new" phone was really an "open box" sale that had been sold once before. When I checked my original purchase receipt, it did have an indication of "used" in part of the description. I never saw the purchase receipt in the store. After setting up the phone and factory resetting my old phone, the salesperson put all the packaging material in a bag, then walked over to the reception area where the printer was located, and put the receipt in the bag, and presented it to me. When I arrived home, I scanned the receipt and filed it away never relizing that I had a used phone. As a result, I paid full price for a product that had been previously sold and returned, and received only an 11 month warantee, instead of a full 12 month warranty. I never would have agreed to the purchase if I had been aware of this.

As I was getting out of the car, the staff locked the doors early while looking directly at us. That alone was frustrating, but what happened next was worse. 2 out of the 3 of the employees actually flipped me and my children off after locking the door. Completely disrespectful and unacceptable behavior, especially toward a parent with kids. I understand closing times, but there is no excuse for that kind of treatment.
