On our…read morerecent trip from Europe back to the U.S.A., I count six distinct stops between arrival at the airport and the departure gate. Of the six, none was more enjoyable than Copenhagen Airport Tax Free. There's something comforting about duty-free shopping, partly because the shopping format is remarkably consistent from airport to airport, and you know you're getting a reasonably good deal. The sales people were friendly, the aisles wide enough for travelers with backpacks and briefcases, and the displays beautiful (as they almost always are in these places). If you're shopping with Therese H., you can be sure that the Scotch will be thoroughly examined. She ended up with a couple bottles, and I went with old standby Lagavulin 16 at a very good price. Keep in mind, fellow yelpers, that if you have a connecting flight in the US, you're going to have to find a way to take your alcoholic beverages out of the pretty duty-free store bags and pack them into your checked luggage for the final leg. Fortunately, we travel with bubble-wrap packs and are otherwise reasonably well prepared for such eventualities. You might be surprised what fits into a 21" piece of hard-sided luggage.

Good for browsing and I ended up buying chocolates and perfumes. Felt like a shop instead of duty-free at the airport. Recommend looking around there if you are at CPH and have some time.

My biggest concern is that they aren't very good at stocking all that many vegan and perfume free…read moreproducts. Natural perfumes still upset a great many people and quite a few customers are looking for those natural, vegan and perfume free products. Pure Shop seems to be targeting those upper middle-class women of a certain age who seem to think that they must have all their products smelling like a field in Provence that's been dipped in beeswax and coloured with crushed beetles. Their customer service is very hit and miss too, however on my last few visits there's been a lovely helpful young gentleman. They are the only physical shop with a wide range of the fantastic make-up products from the German brand Logona, of which most are vegan, gluten-free and without harsh natural perfumes, and they all fall at the affordable end of the price scale.

Another lovely L'occitane shop inside Triangeln mall…read more Rather than going all the way to Hyllie, I tend to buy my hair care products here in Triangeln instead. Service is equally friendly to the one in Emporia and I tend to get lots of freebies as well when I shop here (freebies, ftw!) The shop itself is located on the other end of the mall (not the one near the train station north exit) and it's relatively small, but they have pretty much all the range of L'occitane products that you want to find. The reason I frequent L'occitane shops in Malmö instead of going to the one in Magasin in Copenhagen is because only Malmö shops has 500ml shampoo bottles and refills, and obviously the low Swedish crowns value plays important role as well PS: Do become their member, although you don't live in Malmö. I get newsletter about discounts and new products that I really appreciate. Besides, a membership always earns you extra freebies!

This L'Occitane is well-stocked and has great service like the one in Emporia. I came here to get a…read moregift and although it was discontinued and not in stock, the lady working there was quick to commiserate with me and suggest a similar product. She also pointed out free gifts that are available after spending a certain amount and put Eva K. and my purchase together so that we could achieve it. Finally she put our stuff in separate bags, sprayed some nice perfumes that were similar to our purchases, and threw in some free samples that she thought would match each of us. Really thoughtful service with a smile, no complaints!
