She is the most despicable, morally reprehensible person, that should NOT be working with animals, let alone call themself a veteranarian. My dog became distressed while traveling and couldn't breathe well. I called because they advertise a hospital with emergency services and I had to beg them to please help my dog. They told us when we arrived they would be closing in 40min. They still made us wait while my dog was literally gasping for air. Dr Tina Howerton was rude and condescending, said that my dog Panda could not stay, even though she was clearly struggling to breathe. We still had to wait for her to come back in the room for her to give Panda oxygen. She only kept her on oxygen for 10min, then took her off and said she had a meeting and we're going to have to try to get her to another hospital over an hour away! My Panda died on the way and I had to drive the rest of the way to Michigan with her lifeless body in my arms. She knew my dog wouldn't make it and still made us leave and acted like we inconvenienced her. This could've been prevented had she cared enough to do the right thing and try to save the life of her patient, instead of creating excuses like meetings and staffing. Tina Howerton hides behind her title of doctor for profit of their online store and so-called hospital, with little regard for the patient. Embarrassment to the veterinary profession, contemptible human being.

WHY WOULD YOU MAIL HOUSE KEYS TO THE HOUSE THEY UNLOCK?! I asked if they were mailed certified and hoped they were so I would need to be home to receive them. And the treats were never given out. She was also suppose to bring in the mail but instead it was left in the mail box and front porch. The only thing she did was scoop the boxes and fed the cats. I had bottled water literally right next to their fountain that only 1/2 gallon was used when we ere gone for 10 days? Then I tried to text Kat and nothing and then texted and called again nothing. I was in Florida and wasn't even sure anyone was taking care of them at this point. The worse part was when I called and spoke to Amanada.SHE HAD NO CUSTOMER SERVICE WHAT SO EVER!!! Never have I spoke to someone so rude. I wanted to know why their toys weren't put out or treats not given or the fact that there was bottled water for my cats that was never used and 2 of my Boys have problems with crystals in their urine so they can't have tap water. Thus the bottled water that was to be used. The litter boxes were just scooped and no new was put in top and there were 2 full unopened containers of litter right next to the boxes. So do yourself a favor and find someone else to care for your furry family members while you are gone out of town and not this horrible company.

Cackle was quick to help me cancel and reorder with the correct breeds. Shipping: The chicks shipped on June 3rd, and delivered to my local USPS in California by the following afternoon- much quicker than I expected, thankfully! What arrived: There was a heat pack in the box, along with some sort of green nutritional chunks. Cackle sent one extra chick for each breed I ordered, which really eased my mind. Chick's condition: All arrived alive!! One looked fatigued upon arrival, yet by day 3 she was healthy and running around with the rest of them. They are 3 weeks old now, and all are still thriving, no casualties. Overall a fantastic experience with Cackle. One small downside was the amount of pasty butt during the first week. While Cackle is not accountable for this, I was not prepared for the amount of pasty butt I'd have to deal with, likely due to the stress and temperature changes these babies experienced during shipping affecting their stool. About three quarters of them got pasty butt, and I spent between 1-2 hours cleaning them off for the first 4/5 days. I suppose this is something to be mindful of if you're planning on ordering chicks online as well. It's manageable, just a bit time consuming for the first few days. Thank you Cackle Hatchery!! I'm so excited to see them develop. This is my first time raising chicks and it has been an amazing experience thus far :)

We arrived, they had geese in store, I was excited, we paid to have them sexed, bought male and 2 females. Wednesday all 3 geese huddled in corner sleeping alot, male died Wednesday night, 1 female died Thursday. We called, they told us sorry, it is what it is. Some just fail to thrive. All the other birds are great so far. So sad and disappointed. Doubt we will trust Cackle in the future.
