Our guide Alexander taught us so much on this tour. We really enjoyed learning and seeing so many animals. He was very patient with answering all of the groups questions. Our kids had a blast

Kiana was an amazing tour guide! Kiddos had a great time and their highlight was holding a small alligator and snake!

This was by far one of the best, most informative wildlife experiences we have had as a family. DJ was an informative guide who had many "behind the scenes details." We learned so much about reptiles.

Kianna was so awesome I had the best time ever! She answered all my question very knowledgeable. The money spent there goes to caring for these beautiful animals well worth every penny and it was very hands on!

Highly recommend. My family and I had such a great experience at Croc Encounters, from ages 5 to 42, we all enjoyed ourselves. Our favorite moments were holding a ball python snake, feeding the tortoises and holding a baby alligator. Our guide Alexander was really knowledgeable and made sure we enjoyed our tour, really appreciate his efforts. We would definitely go back. If you have a chance to visit you should.

Alexander was a great tour guide! This experience was a cool way to see alligators and crocodiles, the tour had a good amount of both and we were given lots of information. It was a little bit pricey, being around $36 per person for a group of three, but it was worth it. I felt like the information online was a bit misleading regarding the tour grouping, but overall a very nice place to spend 2 hours seeing some cool reptiles, definitely recommend.

Came with my family for a chance to see crocodiles and other reptiles. We were not disappointed! Kiara was a great tour guide. She was very knowledgeable, very patient with the kids and gave good background on all of the reptiles! Would definitely recommend visiting.

The place is a little run down and definitely could use some help but the staff was extremely knowledgeable and nice and they have a ton of gators , I'd definitely recommend checking this place out , has a ton of potential

Kiana was an amazing and very knowledgeable tour guide! She was super friendly and answered all of our questions. We would have never thought we could have Croc Encounter in Tampa super cool!! We would definitely go back!!

Such an awesome experience! Our Guide Luck was so friendly and informative. We started by holding pearl the snake and then went and saw crocs birds turtles gators snakes lizards. We fed big turtles and then fed a bunch of alligators. To top it off we got to hold smiley the smallest cutest gator ever. TIP: take bug spray Lots of mosquitoes

I purchased our tickets the day before so that we could skip the line. I was a little surprised to see the aquarium nestled in between the cruise dock and the downtown Tampa area. The aquarium itself has no parking, but there are a couple if garages right next door. The one I parked at was $20 a day. Even at 9am, the parking garage was nearly full to my suprise. I showed my ticket barcode to the attendant, they take a quick family photo (the cheapest one is $29) and we were in with no wait. The aquarium has many exhibits in a fairly small space. It was fairly comfortable for thr first 30 minutes we were there, but it quickly filled up. We went on Friday hoping to avoid crowds, but it didn't seem to help. We spent about 2 hours visiting all the animals and my girls even got to touch jellyfish ans stingrays. They have helpful employees that answer your questions and seemed happy to be there. The gift shop and food options are extremely expensive and are comparable to Disney prices. We saw everything we wanted to see and left by 1130am. Tickets were $45 and parking was $20. I feel it was a little pricey for 2 1/2 hours, but we had a good time.

Admission was $88 for one adult and one toddler, which felt a bit expensive for what was offered. We really enjoyed the coral reef exhibit and the large aquarium tanks. The octopus and jellyfish were definitely some of the most memorable animals, and my daughter absolutely loved the touch tank where she got to pet jellyfish. That ended up being one of her favorite parts of the visit Growing up in Florida and fishing most of my life, I'm already pretty familiar with much of the local marine life, so some of the exhibits weren't as exciting for me personally. However, my daughter had a wonderful time, which made the visit worthwhile. If you've visited before, be aware that a few things have changed. The outdoor penguin exhibit is gone, and the splash pad and playground have been replaced with a large turf area that has very little for kids to do outside. That was disappointing since those were some of the more unique family features. All of the animal exhibits are upstairs, while the downstairs consists mainly of the touch tank, gift shop, and restaurant. Overall, it's a smaller aquarium than what I remember from 10 years ago and we spent about an hour seeing everything at a comfortable pace. Overall, it's worth visiting once, but at the current admission price, I don't feel it offers enough value to visit regularly.

Likely with the students in the area back in school, it helped as we went on a weekday while vacationing here & we were able to go on every ride in 5-10 minutes each and rode each coaster 2-3 times (no fast pass). My son wants to visit every amusement park & this one was a top choice. Our favorite was iron gwazi. I found discount tickets on Groupon $55 & even when the park has deals, Groupon is better as they don't attach all the extra fees. We got the all day meal deal $40 with Groupon deal, but we shared one & went back every 90 minutes which worked well as we didn't want to each eat too much and get sick. We had one difficult experience with the ride rental lockers & I'll never forget how helpful the staff were with us - truly remarkable. I also appreciate that their ride photos are only $5 for digital & $7 for print - they are sometimes 5x that costs at other parks. The only negative I have to say is closing at 6pm on an August weekday seems way too early, i understand a lot of employees are students but at least 8pm? I can't complain too much though as we had plenty of time due to how fairly empty it was.

We got to the aquarium around 10:30am today and let me tell you, the instant we arrived we were told there was a teaching about sharks going on. On the way to the teaching, there was a friendly lil guy we passed on the way. He was so stinkin cute. The older gentleman says he roams the entire place when he's hungry and looking for food lol. The shark teaching was so good. Lots of great information as well as the diver inside the aquarium. It was so fun to see her feed the fishes and shark while we were getting the information. The next teaching we went to was the baby alligators. It was so cute, but they were pretty feisty. Lol. The next teaching was the best one I've personally ever had experienced. They did the teaching about their two big gators - Indiana jones & Donkey. Now, I've been to many aquariums from Hawaii all the way to Canada. This aquarium was only one I've ever been to where to gators look alive, happy and well cared for. You can tell that these guys really do love their job and the animals they have. The teaching was amazing and such a great experience. We also got to feed stingrays, baby sharks, baby gators and much more! The petting zoo was so cute as well. All in all - I can't recommend this place enough. If you're wanting to go somewhere where you get what you pay for - this is the place to do it. I've paid much more for animals that just look like they'd much rather not be there. 10/10, you guys at Tarpon Springs Aquarium are doing great! We left at 2:30 by the way. We were there for four hours. It was so hot but I enjoyed every second!
