We brought several pieces to be dry cleaned and we left one short. You see, they "lost" a very expensive custom fit shirt valued at approximately $110 dollars. Just lost it! No explanation..just "so sorry". We went back when we realized it wasn't in the receivables and asked to see if they could find the shirt...they stated to give them time to look and come back. We did. Upon second visit..we were told by an associate that they could not find our item and after a discussion, were told that we would have to talk to Mimi the general manager, but the best they could do was a credit towards future dry cleaning. This wasn't optimal but it was ok. We asked for this in writing and was told no. When we asked when would be an optimal time to call MImi we were told .."we could not call to talk to Mimi" because they "don't answer their phones"!!! What!? How does a business function like this? So again, took time out from a very busy schedule to stop in to see Mimi to receive the credit. This is where it went from bad to unbelievably horrid. We were told in no certain terms that this was our bad luck and that they would not honor their verbal agreement as there was no way we could prove that any of this transpired and we would lose any small claims if we attempted to seek a refund. Please! Do not use this company. They are thieves at best. It is a shame too, because we always want to support local.

I brought in dry cleaning and shirts to be ironed. The dry cleaning was fine. Nothing extraordinary and I'd do dry cleaning there again except it was slow (4 days to get it returned). My problem were the shirts I brought in to be ironed. All 8 shirts ironed had wrinkles in the same places from his process. On the front parallel with the top seam on both shoulders, and on the back there was a pretty deeply folded wrinkle coming down from both sides off the top of the neck. Photos attached of both. If it were one shirt ok, but it was every shirt that came back. When you get the shirts back, they are wrapped around one another so it looks like the back shirt is giving the front shirts a hug, making it hard to check them for damage. There also isn't a bar like most shops you can hang the clothes up on to look through them individually. Kinda weird for a dry cleaner, just a pole with a hook to hang all 8 shirts on. I asked him about the wrinkles hoping to get them fixed and he told me about his 3 machine process and how the machines cost 15k each and you won't find a better quality machine anywhere. I was asking in front of other customers and I think I unintentionally embarrassed him. Then he either said I could go or asked me to go. Not to be that guy, but with his accent I just couldn't make it out so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that he was saying the shirts were good to go. He couldn't fix the wrinkles, so I paid and left and joined Yelp so I could warn others. This is not the wonderful special place the reviews make it out to be. It is definitely cheaper than most dry cleaners! But I'm ok with paying more to get a completely ironed shirt.

When I came in I tried my dress on she did the chalking and knew exactly what it is I was asking for. We discussed it for about 20 minutes. Trying to get it just right. Off the bat she told me it will be $150. As if that wasn't outrageous enough for him, she went on to explain textures and surgeon what we need to be done because of the material and how wide it is. And me being naïve I said OK. Even though my sisters spoke highly against it and we're a little bewildered at the price. They help me cover the cost. I go to pick it up today, later then I asked because I volunteer to do her a favor, due to the prom season. She was delighted to oblige. And offered a 10% discount for it and to pay cash. Anyhow, I pick up my dress and it's cut. JUST CUT! Oh I was trying to explain to her, has she let me know when I came in that a him was not possible I would have left my dress as is and went on about my business. I believed that what I asked could be done and that's why I left it there. She yelled at me. Going on about her level of experience and her following the natural fibers. It's cut. Just cut.. She was not getting the point I was trying to make. And kept yelling that I am the only one that's ever complained in her over 20 years of experience. That is not a good way to do business. One I wanted tailored in on the sides for a more fitted look. She immediately had me put it on and pinned it to where we both though it'd be good to be taken in. For my alteration, she said it would be $34. She said that the dry cleaning and alteration would be ready for pick up on the following Thursday, which means it would take a full week. My total bill came out to be $74.20. I'll re-rate this business when I've seen the final result. :)
