We used to shop there for fish food and other related items, which I remember were very reasonably priced. They also have some live animals in the shop such as rabbits and guinea pigs, and they are kept in clean conditions unlike some other petshops I have seen! All in all this is a nice friendly little shop, worth a look in if you are a pet owner as there are goodies available for all your different pets.

My only one complaint is that they close one day per week (Wednesday, I think), so if I want to collect my dog this particular day, I have to wait 24 hours (a shame when returning from a trip and eager to see your pet).

We actually infact checked out 2 other services prior to using Maries pet care services but we were not impressed by the service or location of the other pet care services. When we found Marie, we checked out other reviews and decided to setup a meeting with Marie and bring along little Freddie too, to meet marie and her little bichon frise Ben. As soon as we arrived at Maries home, we were initially impressed by the location and also Maries home, she is very clean and hosts other dogs sometimes, which was great for us, as Freddie is very social! The service provided by this particular pet care service is a home from home service, so we pre-wrote Freddies daily schedule and feeding routine, so that Marie could follow this whilst we were away. She has done a fantastic job, well done Marie! See you again soon.

This place is great, the kennels are huge, I always use them when I go away as I know my dogs will…read morebe well looked after. They have music and even TV's in some rooms for the animals. They seem to look after any sort of animal. The place looks clean and spacious, there are always members of staff cleaning and walking the animals. The area for the animals is run around is big and secure so they can't run off. The animals have bedding as well to make their stay more comfortable. For what you get, their prices are excellent. I am always happy with their service and I trust them to look after my animals.

Most, if not all of them own more than one type of reptile, which is always good when you need to ask for advice on a specific species. Whenever you go in they are always willing to give you some advice if you have an issue with feeding, or what size enclosure you need, really is the only place i go whenever i need some mice, or anything to do with my snake really!

The best service they offer in my opinion is the puppy club on Saturday mornings, an experience never forgotten for you or your dog. About 20 puppies of various sizes get together to socialize the dogs - to cut out aggression towards other dogs as they get older - so you can imagine how mad it sometimes gets and how many paper towels are used as they all get excited. They tend to split into 2 groups of larger and smaller breeds in seperate rooms and have a free play time then usually some sort of talk / discussion about dag ownership, there was also a visit by a specialist dog trainer on one of our mornings. The dogs love it, the owners love it and all the kids love it - children are encouraged to come along too and have great fun meeting all the different breeds and characters. The only downside is cost - although the puppy sessions only cost about £2 per week, on top of all the other costs of a new puppy and the encouragement to buy accesories / food from the vets it can become an expensive business
