As someone who was new to CrossFit, they have always taken the time to correct my form, answer my questions, and make sure I'm moving safely. That has made all the difference in helping me improve without getting injured. The community is so welcoming and encouraging. I'm always happy I showed up, and I can't recommend this gym enough.

I stopped by on a random morning last November and interrupted Jeff's breakfast, he was kind, chill and gracious to show me around and talk to me about my experience and expectations. This is a place where all is welcome and Jeff works really hard to make sure everyone is engaged, motivated, properly challenged while being safe. If you are curious about CrossFit in general or just wanting to try something different from the mindless curls, presses and push-ups, if you are wondering what's the difference between working out by yourself vs. in a group/class where everyone can to work at their own levels and paces while cheering each other on with an kind and experienced coach guiding the group, you owe it to yourself to stop by and give EDH CrossFit a try.

As an aging woman with ZERO boxing experience the coaches are helpful, encouraging and motivating. All the coaches help elevate the experience farther than five stars! If you're looking for an all body workout, this is it! I was surprised at how much I love going…read morehere. I'm not athletic and exercising doesn't stick much. To be honest, boxing is also intimidating... but I was in for a pleasant surprise. I feel welcome here and if you go enough, it starts to feel like a little family. I also notice minor changes to my body and it's only been about 2-3 weeks (I've been going 4-5x/wk). More details below if interested. Scheduling: Super easy via app. There's also a waitlist in case classes are full. But there are a variety of class options which make it easy to fit in your day. Classes are also 45 mins during the weekdays so it doesn't cut too much time into your work week. Classes: If you're looking for something calm, this is not for you. It's loud, it's energetic, type of exercises vary each day (keeps you on your toes and your body challenged). However, you can start at whatever level you feel comfortable (no need to be a pro!). Classes start with warm-up, intro to types of punches you'll work on throughout the class, then the actual workout (you rotate through stations), closing with core exercises then cool down. Equipment: There's a variety of different bags that you get to rotate through. It's also not just about boxing. There are fitness stations to build up your strength and endurance. Depending on the class routine, you may use ropes, medicine balls, dumbbells, steps, treadmill or row. You will need wraps (either traditional ones or modern) and gloves. Technology: There are TV monitors to show you the punch combinations for each round and exercises for the fitness station. You also can get a heart rate monitor to keep track of your progress. If you're competitive, there's a leaderboard to keep you going. There's also an application to monitor your progress and a lot of fun features. Ambiance: Once it's go time, it's low lighting and loud music. For me I love this because it's like an escape from the world and it's just you and the bag/station. Also it's makes it less intimidating. Staff: They are amazing and know what they're doing. This was important because in other fitness clubs/centers I'll notice that trainers aren't helping you with your technique (not to be a pro but at least to make sure you're not hurting yourself) and they look fit. This might sound judgmental but I feel this is reflective so I know I'm getting a good workout from people who know what they're talking about. Also, I have no idea how they do this but they bring in the energy every time. I love that they love what they do. The thing I appreciate the most is that they meet you where you're at (level of fitness). They provide a good balance of pushing you but making you feel comfortable. They also walk around and check on folks to make sure all is good. Cost: Okay, okay this does matter and I was surprised at the cost (over $150 or so, but this will vary depending on package). Here's the thing though, if you go at least 3-4 days a week, it's actually reasonable. So I'd encourage folks to not be too intimidated at the costs. Overall, this place is a gem!

I was immediately put at ease when I met Coach Neda and so many welcoming members that first day. The workouts are fun, but hard, but all the coaches do a great job showing modified exercises to meet you where you're at. Aside from the exercise part, what makes this gym so special is the amazing community of women of all ages. In the 13 months since I've be going to PUSH, not only have I gained so much endurance and strength, and lost over 35lbs and seen amazing changes to my health stats (BMI down and blood pressure now optimal), I have made so many new friends. From start to finish, she was so easy to communicate with, incredibly flexible with our date and time, and genuinely kind throughout the entire process. Julie went above and beyond by offering privacy for our event and helping provide lighting decorations, tables, and chairs, hot/cold water dispenser, which was convenient and made everything come together perfectly. The space was perfect for about 65 people and felt both comfortable and welcoming.Im sure it could even accommodate more if needed. Parking was super easy to find, and the studio is conveniently located near a Main Street with tons of great restaurants and activities, which was a huge bonus for our guests. The studio itself was clean, well kept, and even had snacks and water available for purchase. 5/5--highly recommend working with Julie! If I lived closer, I would honestly love to be a regular workout buddy with her too. Such a great space and an even better owner! We will most likely be regulars for renting the space. You will also, feel the same if you are looking for an awesome spot for your event! Mariecel G

Lifetime Folsom is not a gym... it's a full-blown civilization…read more Met a friend here for a workout, and since she's not a member, we had to do the whole guest pass process first. You know... the "tap here, sign here, acknowledge that squats may humble you today" routine. But I've got to give credit where it's due -- the front desk made it ridiculously easy. They were handling a phone call and getting my friend squared away at the same time, and somehow still made it all look smooth. No chaos, no confusion, no "uhhh let me get my manager." Just straight-up professionalism. The second we walked in, she looked around and said, "Is this a city or a gym?" I said, "Honestly... both." Because Lifetime Folsom is not for the weak or the directionally challenged. This place has everything. Pool, spa, cafe, workout floors, recovery zones, pickleball, tennis, locker rooms that feel fancier than some apartments... at one point I'm pretty sure if you turn the wrong corner you accidentally enroll in a wellness retreat. And my favorite part? The confidence people have before a workout. She came out of the locker room with that movie trailer energy like, "Alright, let's do this." Looking at me like, "Bring it." And I did. I coached her through the workout, and for the first 20 minutes she was hanging in there strong. Then somewhere around that 1 hour and 30 minute mark, the spirit left the body. By the end, the look had changed from "I got this" to "I would like to formally unsubscribe." And honestly? Respect. Because the workout was solid. We laughed the whole time, had great conversation, and got after it. That's what I love about Lifetime -- whether you're going hard or just trying to survive the stair climber without seeing your ancestors, it somehow still feels fun. After we wrapped up, we grabbed our stuff and headed to the cafe because recovery was no longer optional. She needed a pick-me-up, and honestly, probably a new set of legs. We grabbed shakes, sat down, and started coming back to life. Then out of nowhere she goes, "Ummm... tacos?" And I looked at her like she had just spoken the Lord's language and said, "Yes." Then she hits me with, "I got the spot. Follow me." Now THAT is elite leadership. So basically this place gave us: a killer workout, laughs, smoothies, and the launching point for Taco Tuesday. What more do you want from a gym? A zip code? Actually... Lifetime might already have one. In all, Lifetime Folsom continues to prove it's way more than just a gym. It's an experience. It's a fitness amusement park. It's where confidence goes to get tested and where post-workout taco plans are born. And honestly... that's beautiful.
