And I'd be able to make it to service in time. So off I went. The church is much smaller in size than Southlake's, and the congregation is smaller. There is a more homey feel, and the people are super friendly. This was my 3rd week in attendance at NRH and I like it. I'll continue to find classes and events and meet new people. It's been two years and the rumors were not even true. A pastor started that rumor and she had me blocked. I still can't call. I just tried to call. I made the elders apologize to me because they wouldn't do it on their own. They gave me a suffocating contract to dign too. They don't fear God how could something that that happen to anybody? How could Christians do that to anybody? They do not represent Christ. Beware of deception here at this church from the pastors, sorry guys. ALL SMILES BUT FAKE. They want your money, that's all.

And that is a great thing, since the only way we grow is through our experiences with each other. Have I been hurt and wounded by people? Yes... Have I hurt and wounded others? Unfortunately, yes... That being said, we learn and change by being friends with each other and Jesus. Our church does more to encourage and stress that we are to learn friendship with Jesus through being friends with each other. Again we are not perfect, but only striving towards perfection. I think the thing that most attracted us to Wellspring was transparency of the Pastors in the pulpit. If they are struggling with something, they simply share it with us and what God is doing in their lives through it. Giving our church 5 stars does not mean that I think we are better than any other church, but that our church is striving to do what God's vision is for our local body. We learn that Jesus wants us to friends and not servants, that God speaks to us today, that God heals today, and how to minister to these things to each other. If you feel drawn to our church by the Lord, then you will experience church in a different way than you are used to most likely. This is in a good way, that is not some weird man thought up method. That being said, we look forward to seeing you there! As soon as you start driving up to the church you will notice immediately that it's huge. As you come to expect with this style of church house there were coffee stations set up, a bookstore, a cafe, a separate children's church area and 3 huge screens in the sanctuary. Milestone is the type of church were the pastor's message is timed down to the penny so you know exactly how long you will be in service. There was surely more than 1,000 worshippers in the sanctuary for the 11 am service. I am accustomed to the term "Youth pastor" but the pastor who brought the word during my visit was called a "Teaching Pastor". That term is new to me but certainly accurate to describe Pastor Jeb. He taught from the book of Luke and it was a wonderful message, starting with Bible scripture and staying true to bringing the word of God. The parking lot traffic directors,ushers and greeters all smiled and spoke to me. I attended alone and not one single parishioner outside of the greeters said a single word to me. This is most definitely not the church for me but I did enjoy the service and I think it's a nice church.

I am not a member of…read moreWhite's Chapel Methodist Church, but I did have the opportunity to attend their Christmas Eve service while visiting my family in Southlake, which was absolutely beautiful and very well organized. We arrived around 5:15 for the 5:30 service, which you think would be plenty of time to grab a seat in the main sanctuary. We were mistaken ... but were helpfully directed toward the overflow seating area across the hall. Every greeter and usher we encountered had a smile on their faces, along with the necessary information to get us to our seats quickly and kindly. The overflow seating is located in what seems to be a multi-purpose room, which has a large projector to live stream the service. These live streams sometimes sacrifice quality, but that was not the case at White's Chapel. The audio and visuals were crisp and clear, to the point where it was like we were actually there in the main sanctuary. The music was incredible, and the message was clear and easy-to-understand for long-time churchgoers and first-timers alike. If you're in search of a new church home in the Southlake area, White's Chapel is definitely worth checking out.
