Only a few sessions with Joey basically resolved the issue completely. I really appreciate Joey's philosophy in that we all have the ability to heal ourselves, not requiring years and years of going to sessions. The police can go back to policing, which is where they belong, they're not trained mental health professionals. And the person experiencing a crisis can get proper treatment. If you broke your arm, we'd drop what we're doing and get you medical treatment! We need to think the same way with mental health.
