I bought a truck two years ago, for the last two years all I have dealt with is repeated calls to trade my truck up at ridiculous prices. Then when you bring your truck in you will get harassed by Hadi Emraz who steals your phone number from the service lane and does nothing but text bomb you everytime you drip your car off. He has no right to your information and i have checked with the privacy commissioner and what they are doing is shady business and they are looking into it. They say he's allowed to harass their customers because he is the best salesman. My experience was great, and I'm still feeling a sense of relief from dealing with them. Backstory: I bought a used 2009 Dodge Journey from somewhere else. It runs great, but the only keyfob is useless. It still works in the ignition, but doesn't lock or unlock my doors. So I need to use the actual key, and it makes the alarm go off Every. Damned. Time. Even with a brand new battery. So I bought a new fob off the internet. I spoke to a mechanic I trust, and he told me it might be expensive to get it programmed. He recommended a nearby dealership, but they never answered my email. I don't remember how I found Crosstown--I think I googled 'West Edmonton Dodge keyfobs' or something like that. I hadn't even considered Crosstown before then. Aidan answered my e-mail the next morning, answered all my questions, gave me a flat fee (plus taxes) so I made an appointment. I'd been given the impression from other people that a replacement keyfob was REALLY expensive. Maybe 'expensive' is a relative term. I have no previous experience with keyfobs. Having never been there before. I found a parking spot and walked around. A nice woman on her break asked me if I needed help. She told me exactly where I needed to go and what to do. The fellow I worked with was lovely and professional, answered all my questions and advised me that if my internet ordered fob doesn't work, I'll still have to pay the fee. Oops...but yes, they can't be held responsible for any faulty crap ordered off the internet, right? I accepted. I suppose I expected a song and dance. I expected him to 'find' things that needed to be done, and maybe some high pressure sales. I had my hackles up a bit. He asked me if there was anything else I needed done, but that was all. He promised it would be over in an hour. Their waiting area has comfortable chairs and even a little cafe. I could have grabbed a pop or a pastry if I wanted, but as promised, my mechanic was back in precisely an hour. It worked! My keyfob from the internet worked just fine. And did I need any other work done since I'm already there? No pressure, just my bill is fine. I'm already thinking I'd like a spare, since the first fob is so useless. There is a reason car dealerships have a reputation. Spoke with the salesperson and agreed on the price of a new vehicle, but reduced because it was a demo with 9,000 km on it. I emphasize .... price agreed already. I put $1,000 deposit on which they tell me holds it for me. I wait to hear from finance person while they look at bank financing for a few days. I finally do hear from finance guy, and he tries to switch me into a brand new vehicle instead, at $12,000 more, and says the bank will only finance a new one. I tell him I am not interested in a new vehicle, I want the demo I put the deposit on. He tells me, oh... we took the deposit off (without telling me they were doing so). I wonder why? You got a better offer from someone else? What was the hold for then? I tell him, forget the financing we will make arrangements at my end (LOC, etc) and pay you the cash price we agreed on. Then he tells me if I do that, I have to pay full MSRP for a new vehicle because they make money off of financing. What happened to the agreed upon price of the vehicle? Worst experience ever, do yourself a favour and go elsewhere. My second last visit there they reluctantly supplied me a dirty loaner vehicle. I didn't even get out of the lot before the low fuel light indicator came on. Pathetic. Last visit there and they lost the keys to my wife's van. This left us stranded after hours on the lot. We called a locksmith to open the vehicle and the keys were not left as per my explicit instructions. We missed a very important appointment because of this. Have come here twice to get keys cut, they weren't supposed to cut the inner key the first time (just needed a new fob) but they did and tried to charge me 70$ for it. Second time I wait all day for them to program a new fob and cut an inner key, and they didn't cut the inner key this time (even though I specified I needed the inner key). Cutting keys is so expensive now and they can't seem to figure out the simple task of doing so, it's unbelievable the prices they charge for such poor service. read more

We went there just for recall, (after inspection -which we didn't ask for) they said there are many issues in our car and is inpossible to take our car back without major repairs because is not safe to drive. Almost no oil, many leaks, almost everything was wrong. We were shocked, because we drove this car with no issues at all. The lady we spoke to, Jennifer was very pushy and she tried to even scared us telling they can't give us our car back, as long as we call for towing truck. They estimeted total cost of repairs for something about $6-7K. We called our mechanic who knows and take care of our cars for advice. After a while we were finally able to get our keys back. Do not even try to get service at this place. I took my truck there and was told they would contact me within 3-7 days. Waited a week and a half before calling them and they said my service tech was gone for the day and she would call me back in the morning. Didn't hear from her for another week then I called them to be told that I need to deal with the body shop myself. Called the body shop and they hadn't even seen or heard of my truck. Called the dealership again, was told I would get a call back from the service tech shortly, waited 7 hours before calling them to be told that I need to bring my truck in again to get the body shop to have a look. If you have to get service and you want good service, do whatever you can to avoid this place. They do not honour any discounts that they say they do. Military or AUPE. They actually want to charge a 500 document fee on a used vehicle that one is not even financing! NEVER EVER AGAIN. I booked in with Crosstown as my regular Chrysler store was closed for a holiday weekend. All I had was loose tie rod I needed replaced. I dropped my car off at 7am, and was told I could pick it up at 5pm. I arranged to leave work early, got a ride over there, and they hadn't even started the work yet! I didnt get my car until 6:30pm, and then was given an estimate in "urgent work" that needed to be done totalling $5000. My car has 57000 km on it, and has been immaculately maintained. The tech, Brian, told me my car was unsafe to drive to Calgary the following day. Panicked, I rented a car, and went to Calgary. I brought my car to another mechanic, and he said my rear brakes were a bit worn and I was due for new tires. THAT'S IT. Nothing close to the $5000 in work they quoted me. Turns out, they hadn't checked my filters, fluids etc as they said they all needed replacing but upon further inspection, everything was nearly new, and was covered in dust, showing they hadn't even touched them. Would stay miles away from these guys, I would prefer to use a Wheaton or Go Auto store instead. read more

Been waiting almost two weeks to get my new truck which I was told would be at the dealership 3 separate times. My past 3 experiences getting vehicles from here went smooth and no issues. So far I had to cancel babysitters twice due to the outright lies on when the truck would be available for pickup, and the loaner vehicle I was given had a screwed up battery which resulted in my wife having to miss time at work since I wasn't able to take my kids to school and daycare. It wouldn't be so bad if I was told from the start that my new truck wouldn't be in my possession until this week but the continued lies just shows they don't really care as long as the sale was made. Apparently it's been sitting on a train either in Edmonton/Leduc for almost 5 days now and they can't get it offloaded. I am a small business owner and recently did an oil change on a 3.0l diesel jeep. After changing the oil (using the owners manual as a reference) the check engine light came on 1 week later. At this point the customer went to crosstown to figure out the problem was. A Diagnostic was preformed ( At a cost of $202.25 ..... which in itself is disgusting ) and customer was informed that the was the wrong oil was put in the vehicle. After further investigation we discovered that Dodge had done and update on the oil specifications and that the vehicle now required a different oil to be used. As a result of this update, the owners manual is now considered to be incorrect. It was made clear to me that this update and any failure to comply to this update is entirely the responsibility of anyone but Dodge. Please understand that no efforts were made to contact the customer and inform them of any updates. In this situation it is my belief that any costs incurred as a result of this change should be the responsibility of Dodge and not the customer or another vehicle service station. Given that I initially took Dodge at their word and payed for the diagnostic, I naturally asked for was a reimbursement of $202.25. At this point I was met with a resounding lack of ownership and a hard NO all the way up to Dodge Canada. To me this is a simple customer service decision. Piss off a local business owner and a long time dodge customer ( for a measly $200 ), or take ownership of a problem that was clearly created by Dodge. To me this is a foolish and disgusting way to do business. I would recommend you never darken their door. If they can't handle a small issue like this, it seems obviously they will never take ownership for any large issues! Without question this situation could have easily resulted in a strong relationship being built on mutual respect and understanding. Instead they chose this. Terrible service. Had our Truck in there for two recalls (they fixed) that part is OK. We had another problem we wanted to know if it was under warranty and if so to be fixed. We made it very clear, if it was not under warranty, it was not to be touched. They did not fix it but charged $400 for the diagnostics..Diagnostics!!! We had already diagnosed it was not working. Upon our request to do nothing that would cost us money, we still left there having to pay for their service technicians mistake. The only response we received from them was he would get a "talking to". Not good enough. We paid $300 (after they reduced it by $100) for NOTHING. They fixed NOTHING. Now the Manager is ducking our calls. Customer Service must be held to a better standard than this. I would recommend this company to no one. read more

After purchasing 10-12 vehicles from this dealership my experience I had this past week was a complete nightmare! I have a brand new Jeep Gladiator 2020 that I wanted to have the bed liner done after calling them to inquire about pricing and availability they told me the prices was $567 which is a bit higher then most places but I figured I wanna keep all the maintenance and work done at the dealership so i booked the appointment. When i arrived for my appointment they told me there was gonna be a charge of $108 added due because of the guards were needed to be removed , after debating with employee about the price he doubled checked with the the installer which he confirmed that the extra $108 fee didn't apply to the Jeep. So we agreed on the price of $567 and we proceeded with the work. When I returned to pick up my truck they added a fee of $88 for miscellaneous charges that they didn't mentioned when we were discussing exactly what I was gonna be paying. I was in a hurry to pick up my kids so I was forced to just pay and left. The next day the employee told me he'd give me store credit for charge. But this is where the NIGHTMARE really takes off, the next day as I'm cleaning my car I see that the side of my bed was completely scratched and I notified the dealership immediately. There's response was they checked the cameras and seen no damage was done at the dealership. My truck is brand New and it's so obvious that the damage was done while applying or covering the bed while installing the bed liner. Please try another dealership and save your time and money. If I could give them zero stars, I would. Me and my husband bought a Jeep from here in May of 2013. It was supposed to come with both the hardtop and the soft top options, that are available with Jeeps. When we went to put the soft-top on, we discovered that none of the window pieces, or hardware was actually included. We had to go back 3 different times to get all the pieces. One time I went in without my husband, to get the back windows, and had to wait around for 45 minutes while they tried to find the windows, that they had assured us were in before I went. I then asked to speak to the manager, to ask what was going on, where he basically treated me like a child, and told me it was my fault they weren't there. I left very angry. My husband went in 10 minutes later, and had the windows within 5 minutes. I would say this was one of the most unprofessional, and sexiest places I have ever been in. Even though I was also buying the Jeep, the salesperson "Moose", never once looked at me or acknowledged me throughout the whole buying process. I under stand now they charge to clean the battery posts.and reset the radio and clocks . the attendant was not to aware of how to reset the oil life guage. most of theplaces atill go by mileage not life %. was interesting the guy doing the top service had to install the oil filter which was taken off from underneath. to make things more interesting the dealership nolonger uses nonsyn oil. they only use syn oil now , full and partial syn oil. wonder if they use the right oil filter, seeing there is a difference between syn oil and convenyal oil.which is based on the service life of the oil. Bought a new Fiat Abarth last summer, and this place is the definition of a greasy car dealership. I have personally sold new and used cars in the past, and I still felt completely overwhelmed by their sales process. None of the staff, from the rookie sales rep to the seasoned sales manager, had any knowledge of the car we were trying to purchase, and tried to advise us that certain options weren't available, when I knew they were. The sales manager also lied about the location of the car we wanted, and indicated that it was coming from another city, when it was at their sister dealership in Edmonton. The finance guy was very friendly, but he was also horrible at explaining our options. I took a quick trip out of the office, and when I came back he had pressured my girlfriend into purchasing a very very expensive warranty, something I wasn't aware of until after the delivery. The up charging for service at this dealership is shameful. I went in to have some recall stuff taken care of and had them do a wheel alignment. I was quoted $149 for the job which was steep to begin with but I have them the go ahead. The final bill had a $20 "shop charge" added so ended up $180 for a wheel alignment!!!! So I signed for a car loan for a so called friend. I agree its my mistake. But what happened next is worse. That so called friend was able to get a vehicle upgrade without my consent from Crosstown Crystler dodge jeep amd ram dealership. I found out because he lost the job because of covid and my credit score got hit. I have been trying to get info laio ( the finance director ). He asks us to come doesn't show up or makes reasons. Initial reason was its weekend and he doesn't work weekends. So we took off and went on weekday and still doesn't show up. But how can the dealership approve the loan without my consent? When asked they say, you signed for the first loan, whats your problem now. They don't accept their mistake that they were sales hungry and approved it even though the sales guy(Jecris) knew it wasn't me. He knew me by my name, had my phone number. When asked further, I was told that because they had my file , they didn't need to check with me. So everyone who is going to purchase a vehicle here or purchased something before, make sure you check your credit score and someone else doesn't have a vehicle on your name. They will not check if its you really signing the document as all they are behind is the commission from sales. Then it becomes your problem and they will wash their hands off blaming on bank, the buyer and so on.. I will not recommend you go through this dealership. The service center here is a complete joke! Incredibly dishonest and highly profit driven. They fed me 3 different fake stories, and tried charging me $2200 for an apparent 4 hour diagnostic that resulted in a replacement pin on my ECM connector, and a battery cable that I told them not to change because it just needed to be cleaned up. With how corrupt this place is I was lucky to get out with a $500 bill and a repaired vehicle. The crooked service writer Mariam even apologized afterwards, but didn't say for what. I can only assume that it was for the repetitive lying. My advice if you ever have to take your vehicle here, talk to the tech that actually worked on your vehicle, the service manager, and the gold digging service writer, and then use the 3 different stories to reduce the invoice, and re emphasize what lying sacks of garbage they are for taking advantage of people like a bunch of criminals. I will never use these guys again, i drove my jeep there with a noisy clutch that they wouldn't warranty at 15000 k, they warrantied the pilot bearing, didn't THROW it in the back seat with the my transmission, transfer case and everything else they tore off, and obviously did NOT install it, yet its on the receipt as a replaced component. Courteous service staff...but the good news ends there. They mis-diagnosed my van's howling noise as coming from the winter tires and charged me 1/2 hr for running it up in the air (the noise was from the back, it's a front-wheel-drive van, durrr). They then tried to charge me for brake repairs (seized left rear caliper which was actually the cause of the noise) that were clearly covered under my warranty. Even at that they failed to notice the badly heat-checked left rear brake rotor. Then I waited for nearly an hour while they tried to find my keys. Ended up doing what I should have done...repaired it myself. Even with a warranty it always comes out cheaper and faster that way. read more
